Believe what you want, those wishing Nigeria evil cause the clueless one failed will at the end witness the efforts of PMB crowned with a better Nigeria, its just a matter of time. By the way if the twitnator is worthy, why was he denied the guber slot in his native Bayelsa?
Politics / Re: Amosun Bars Speaker, Others From Talking To Journalists by Segema: 4:03pm On Nov 03, 2013
It is really funny the way we react to issue, I wonder, I really wonder. What the report says, is for who ever wants to comment on govt. policy to get clearance, and we all are going frenzy, so I ask should the govt allow every Tom, dick and Harry say whatever, even if their understanding is different, or they hold personal views different from Govt. He has not gagged anyone, he his preventing the public from being misled. As for the speaker, that's the over kill of the story. There is no way the Gov will include the speaker in the directive.

atlwireles: The presidency sees a political opening in the southwest. They are determined to drive a bulldozer through it. This NC has simply disabled APC plans in the southwest.

God forbid. No going back to Egypt. The SW IS IN BETTER HANDS. To answer the attack cat, let the FG first publish how much crude we produce/sell & how much the country makes & finally the projects delivered since this regime came. Come to the SW and see, at least everyone knows things are getting better than when the jegidujeras were foisted on us.

Politics / Re: What Atiku And The 7 Governors Did Not Know. by Segema: 5:23am On Sep 03, 2013
Eyan mi, fa faa faaa foul, the SW does not vote religion, it has never happened, we vote intellect, courage and development and that is why we will still vote APC and not GEJ, SW Govs are building roads and bridges and the people love it, plus most of the ad roads in the region are federal roads. The thinking presently in the region is , we never had it bad as the PDP years. The people see Tinubu/Fashola as heros. On the debts you mentioned, nobody eyan mi is talking about, why, they are not ending up in private pockets cause the people can see the changes all around. On ondo, naturally Iroko is loved, it will take serious failure on his part for his people to see his fault. PDP ruled at the centre and allo se the SW except Lagos how did the region do, while Lagos did well you can't say same for others and even now not mu h is coming from the centre to the region

figment232: But they re nw sitting on d fence,INEC wud nt recognise them n they wont have any say in PDP infact they re in no man's land as it is now.The only tenable option 4dem nw is to leave PDP.
you fail to consider the legal implication of fact ionisation in the party, once the Atiku faction gains ground, with its own sectarian, officers and court backing, then INEC's recognition cannot be sure at the federal level for either group
Politics / Re: What Atiku And The 7 Governors Did Not Know. by Segema: 4:37am On Sep 03, 2013
Your analysis is simply biased, Yes, GEJ is taking over PDP, but can't you see those opposed to him want to render it empty for him. Yes he will get the presidential ticket, but will the masses vote for him outside the SE and SS? My fear for him and his handlers is, those opposed to him are always one step ahead of him, even with state apparatus under him, he didn't get to know of the NGF, PDM and the walkout plans until they were carried out. Am sure he does not know or envisage the next plan. OBJ was able to checkmate Atiku, though he didn't get the 3rd term. But for money, I would have predicted the NASS as next battle ground with GEJ fighting not to be impeached. I would say his, GEJ's only saving grace is to deliver dividend of democracy seriously before 2015, I doubt if this will happen cause corruption is too much in the land

Food / Re: Lacasera: Does It Contain Bleaching Chemical ? by Segema: 3:59am On Sep 03, 2013
It could be true, I say this based on an experience on a trip. While travelling with my family, we bought la casera with gala and my little boy mistakingly spilled some of his drinks on the dash board, I was shocked how clean the spot became. I think the makers should explain to the public the chemical composition of the drink.

Dumbo! His anger is the betrayal. The Northern Governors forum agreed on a consensus candidate but Aliyu and co went behind and betrayed them. Lets call a spade a spade. Betrayal is evil.

Did you say they agreed or arm twisted, you can lead the horse to the river, but can't force it to drink. There is no betrayal in following ones conscience.

Even inside Oshogbo, can you just mention 2 better areas after GRA where d dummy gov. lives, dada estate and ogo-oluwa/onward area. The rest are full of mud houses plastered with cement. Lmao!

Lets assume Osun is all you are saying, should we not commend the Governor for exposing the youths of the state to current technology & education, a well developed SS city was know for exporting prostitutes to Italy, so my friend it is not only the big structures in the cities that's most important to also developing the minds of the people

cyril83: For your dumb mind and you believe those children would only stick to educational software and would not attempt to know what's up on the internet.

My guy wake up most of those kids are yahoo yahoo they don't have time for any edu software. This not a welcomed development.

Are you aware at all that those lap tops used for registering sims for the networks can't be used for browsing, I expect same from these tablets. Very laudable idea I would say.
Politics / Re: Opon Imo Launched By Osun Today by Segema: 3:28pm On Jun 03, 2013
cyril83: Close that your mouth, how many of these children can afford the internet subscription on the said tablets or don't you know that computer tablet is just the same as calculator when you don't have internet connection on it.
Sorry to disappoint you, the tablet does not need the Internet to function as a learning tool, it is installed with over 50 text books of 17 subjects needed for WAEC etc
Politics / Re: Sanusi, His CBN Mistress And Their Escapades - Premium Times by Segema: 7:13pm On Jun 02, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: I see some hypocrites attacking the messenger and asking how the messenger had access to those informations or why the private life of Sanusi should be an issue. This is foul smelling hypocrisy as far as I'm concerned. Why shouldn't the private life of a top public servant matter? The media has the RIGHT to hunt for any information and make it public provided it is the TRUTH and it does not jeopardise national progress or security.

Premium Times did a fantastic job. They named names (not like SR anonymous sources), interviewed multiple sources, published exchanged SMS and phone calls, gave dates and locations, etc. And most importantly, they contacted the parties involved (Sanusi and Yaro) before making the report public.

This report further exposes what these "progressive" thieves do with Niger Delta oil money. Rotten souls!

How right & precise you are, but for the last Niger Delta bit, the last time I checked Nigeria's still one.

pro01:

Keep deceiving yourself. All you two-faced overnight advocates of democracy are insufferable. Go and ask Fayemi how he is dealing with the gubernatorial aspiration of Opeyemi Bamidele in Ekiti State. Thugs are unleashed on the man whenever he sets foot in Ekiti, and his campaign posters are defaced, and his life is under serious threat. Is that what you call democracy? What happened to Femi Pedro when he expressed his ambition to succeed Tinubu in the Alausa Round House in 2007? Is that democracy?

How did Fashola emerge as ACN gubernatorial candidate in Lagos in 2007? How did Akeredolu emerge as ACN candidate in Ondo state last year? How did the CPC gubernatorial candidates in the core north emerge in 2011? What was "democratic" about these processes?

Look, you people need to stop insulting our intelligence with your needless preachments about democracy. Nigeria's democracy is still at its infancy; this is not even debatable. It is however repulsive for you opposition slaves to always suggest that Jonathan or the PDP or even the Federal government are the worst abusers of democratic principles. Take a long, hard look at the opposition, especially the rascally ACN and CPC, and you would find all the proof you need of authoritarianism.

You thrive on beer parlour rumours. There is nothing undemocratic in picking candidates through consensus. And it was not ACN or CPC that was described as den of killers

After listening to Okonjo Iweala's report on democracy day, I vowed never to vote any other!

Why do you have to listen to anybody, except of course if you don't stay in Nigeria. Please go on th streets, see federal roads, schools, hospital, go to the market see for yourself. Talk to your friends, family and neighbour how they faring now.

Billyonaire: Nigerians clamoured for the steering of Nigerians Politics to be taken away from the Old Generation, and GEJ has done that. It is very unbecoming for OBJ to, at his terrible old age, seek to 'anoint' someone for Nigerians. He has no place in Nigeria's future and we need new sets of leaders with new mindsets. GEJ has put structures on ground for the take-off of Nigeria and he has been within the confine of the laws. 2nd Term re-election is within the confine of all laws. GEJ has taken over PDP structures and machinery and he GEJ and few 'performing' governors will have automatic consensus PDP ticket without primaries. Full Stop!

I wonder who the performing governors are. And the new generation, does it include Anenin and Jang ?

pro01:

Amaechi should go and "test his popularity" on the platform of another party. Inordinately aspiring to scheme his way to the PDP presidential ticket, in spite of the existence of an incumbent, is an act of insolence that deserves the harshest response from the incumbent. Democracy involves options, and thankfully, options (alternative political parties) are too numerous to mention. Let him take his ambition to another party. Why is this so hard?

What is good for the goose...since GEJ has performed wonders all over the country what better way to test his popularity on anther platform, Tinubu tried it with ACN from AD, we all know the result, ACN won back the states AD lost so...
Politics / Re: Obasanjo To Jonathan - I Will Fight Back In 2015 by Segema: 3:26pm On Jun 01, 2013
Sealeddeal: Whoever wins PDP presidential primary wins the presidential election. GEJ,being in total control of PDP machinery, need not entertain any fear as he will effortlessly defeat any candidate that will stand against him in 2015 PDP presidential primary election. Therefore,OBJ's plan to fight back is a mere boast that will never materialise into a noticeable struggle to scuttle GEJ's 2nd term bid.

If you have forgotten so soon how the election of the speaker of House of Reps was won and lost am sure the election of NGF is still fresh. And I bet what is happening to NGF can't happen to our beloved Country because Nigeria is bigger any person and belongs to us all.

pro01: Isn't it ironic that this same man who was desperately and unconstitutionally seeking a third (and perhaps life) tenure in office now has the effrontery to ask another president not to seek a CONSTITUTIONAL second term?

Yeah the President has the constitutional right to seek for 2nd tern, does OBJ too not enjoy the constitutional right to choose/support/vote for whoever pleases him. Sincerely I think it's just that OBJ is not pleased like many Nigerians, with the performance of GEJ.
