Ifeanyi Ubah will win APC guber ticket, but he cannot be governor. Coscharis has damaged his reputation and political value. In short, Ifeanyi Ubah should have checked the quality of governors Anambra has produced over the years and realized that he cannot fit in.

IMO, Osita Chidoka (although I don't know if it's the turn of his senatorial zone to produce the next governor) should dump PDP and join APGA so as to succeed Soludo when the professor has completed his 8 years in office. That man is a bright mind!

It’s like u are programmed to talk down on everything

This is the way NTA has programmed Nigerians to think when they were the major territorial TV station in the country. They claim to be building and uniting the nation for several years. Today, we know where that left this country.

If the citizens of a country of over 200 million people that has existed together for over 100 years without achieving meaningful progress don't question certain policies and moves, they are worse than dummies and zombies.

Seems Nigerians and APC lead leadership don't know how bad our finances are

Sometimes I blame those giving us loans

Those people probably get their own shares from the loot. Nigeria is a sick country. I just checked online for the stats of busiest Nigerian airports in 2023, but that data isn't readily available.

In an interview with our correspondent immediately after inspecting part of the farm site along the Oguta Lake with the consultant and members of OLAMV, Cons Ejiogu, a project and content development consultant, who is also consulting for OLAMV, said that the investment was estimated to be $50 million, and it be would be domiciled in Oguta.

According to him, Oguta Lake Amishi Ventures (OLAMV) is a community-led intervention Organisation formed to protect the environment at Oguta because of the effects of carbon emissions and pollution from the oil and gas as well as diesel spillage.

“The warming in this place is higher than any other area because of these gas flaring activities, and other carbon emissions that are going on in the community.

However, if we are being honest for a second, we would realise that no sane government will allow violent protesters destroy infrastructure in this magnitude and not apply brute force to stop them. We enjoy living a lie.

You cannot let your guard down when you are surrounded by enemies whose holy book teaches to hate, despise and fight you.

I always say something - anyone who genuinely cares about humanity should have no business being a Muslim. How can a book instigating people against another be called a holy book?

Enugu Rangers ought to tour the city with their trophy and stage a roadshow to raise awareness for Nigerian leagues. That's how it's done elsewhere in the world.

Also, the federal government should increase the league prize to 500 million or one billion to encourage private people to acquire Nigerian teams or start theirs.

Congratulations to Enugu Rangers

Stop writing nonsense. No sensible person makes elective decisions based on the actions of a politician's supporters.

In 2015, APC folks did worse things to Jonathan and Buhari supporters killed corpers in 2011, yet he was voted for and he spent 8 years in office, giving him ample time to destroy the economy and borrow more than all his predecessors combined.

The rule changes the moment an Igbo man is involved.

If Diezani had actually stolen billions like these people alleged, she couldn't have done that alone. You cannot steal such money alone and go scot-free. The docu-series should also mention the beneficiaries of the loots.

Perhaps when people realise that it's a crime that transcended tribes and religions, the media trial will die a natural death. Nigerians, with no exceptions, always protect their political thieves.

Jobs/Vacancies / Here's Why 40% Of Real Companies Post Fake Vacancies by SoNature(m): 4:58am On Jun 26
A new survey found that almost 40% of companies posted a fake job listing this year — and 85% of those companies interviewed candidates for fake jobs

If you aren’t hearing back from a job you applied to, it might be because it’s not real.

A new survey from Resume Builder revealed that 39% of hiring managers said their company posted a fake job listing in the past year.

The disheartening results show that among those who posted fake jobs, “approximately 26% posted one to three fake job listings, 19% posted five, 19% posted 10, 11% posted 50, 10% posted 25, and 13% posted 75 or more.”

The fake jobs ranged from entry-level roles to executive positions, said Resume Builder, which surveyed 649 hiring managers.

Companies said they are posting fake jobs for a laundry list of reasons, including to deceive their own employees.

More than 60% of those surveyed said they posted fake jobs “to make employees believe their workload would be alleviated by new workers.”

Sixty-two percent of companies said another reason for the shady practice is to “have employees feel replaceable.”

Two-thirds of companies cited a desire to “appear the company is open to external talent” and 59% said it was an effort to “collect resumes and keep them on file for a later date.”

What’s even more concerning about the results: 85% of companies engaging in the practice said they interviewed candidates for the fake jobs.

“It’s a concerning scenario, particularly when these misleading postings originate from HR departments — the very entities entrusted with shaping accurate perceptions of their organizations,” Resume Builder’s Chief Career Advisor Stacie Haller said.

“Whether it’s to create an illusion of company expansion or to foster a sense of replaceability among employees, such practices are not acceptable,” she added.

Haller said workers “deserve transparency about the companies they dedicate their time to, rather than being led astray by false representations.”

She also called it “deplorable” that companies are purposely “undermining employees’ sense of value and security.”

But the practice doesn’t look like it’s going away any time soon. Almost 70% of those who posted the phony jobs told Resume Builder that fake job listings positively impacted revenue. Employers also reported the listing had a positive impact on “employee morale” — although it’s not clear how.

“Companies engaging in this practice not only tarnish their reputation but also sabotage their long-term prospects,” Haller said. “Deceptive practices erode trust, dissuading potential applicants from considering them in the future as viable employers.”

Politics / Re: See The Proposed Electronic Tools For Nigerian Upcoming Election 2027 by SoNature(m): 10:03pm On Jun 25
Many voters don't trust INEC because INEC isn't truly independent. Since there's lack of trust, what will work in Nigeria is for people to gather, vote and count their votes themselves.

Afterwards, the results are sent to a central database/result tracking system in real time. People can watch these figures as they are being uploaded from various wards... without going to any LGA or state collation centre because results can be changed there.
