@ Kaydee

Stupid opinions?

Can't you state your case without being rude?!!!

What on earth is wrong with you?!!!

@Kaydee

My last post was supposed to be a shout out to LC. In what way did it seem like i was picking a fight with you? Helllllooooooooo??

Now who's being a hata?

LC

Bro, some charisma you've got! The extent some people would go to defend you is quite touching. If you were to start a new brand of religion, imagine the number of followers you'll get on this forum alone.
TV/Movies / Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Spicegirl1(f): 6:30pm On Nov 22, 2007
Goodness me! How did we get to this level of name calling and people bashing?!!!

Diversity of opinions is the chief characteristic of a good forum. LC's opinions, well stated and argued as they are, are bound to be contrary to somebody else's. This is no way a contest of superior arguments. For goodness sakes, everyone is right and nobody, wrong. We all just happen to see things from different points of view. People, let Salvage be.

@Spora
My sentiments exactly!

However, i am of the opinion that she's been "settled" and so, will not sue. Why on earth will she exonerate all the parties invoved in this crime, Big Brother being the most liable? I don't think she has any idea what damage has been done to her.

Busy as hell!

LC, sent you a mail. Did you get it?

Tampico, i sent you a mail. Did you get it, cos i'm yet to get a response from you.

Hi all.
TV/Movies / Re: Big Brother Africa 2 (II)! by Spicegirl1(f): 7:54pm On Nov 09, 2007
@Spora

I kind of understand your views. I do have mixed feelings abt the show too.  On one hand, it beams the light on the complexities of human nature-- we cringe when one hm backstabs a close friend and many have been disgusted at Richard's adultery. But you know what, most people wouldn't do better in the same circumstances! I'm not condoning adultery, but i understand Richard's frailty in this circumstance.

BBA is also a great medium to emphasize the continent's problems of poverty, AIDS, wait a minute, AIDS? Hmmm. Me thinks that BBA endorses the very type of behaviour that promotes the spread of HIV. Can you imagine how many teenagers and young adults out there who actually think Richard's violation of Ofunneka actually makes him look cool? It's sad indeed!
I agree with you that BB's reported broadcast of the sordid matter is nothing short of a blatant promotion of pornography.

The tasks were cool though. I would like to see a show with more positive entertainment in the next edition of BBA.

Lerato and Max's attitude to Maureen is soooo immature! Not a surprise though. Shame on them!!!

@Tampico
I'm having problems accessing the form. What if you just posted the details and i send the info to your e-mail?

What's uuuuuuuppppp everybody!

This is the most interesting thread on Nairaland! I haven't been such a dedicated viewer of BBA 2, but i've always gotten my updates from hia. Thanks y'all for making me laugh in the past weeks. It's a shame i'm just joining the thread.

The reunion thingy sounds really cool, hope newcomers are welcome?

@ LC
Thrilled to hear you work in advertising. I do too. I felt you when you posted how busy you were in the past. Advertising is the most tension-drenched, anxiety-inducing, social life-busting job. But it's also a fun industry.
