Unbelievably disappointing result from Access bank if that is trulyvtheir eps. But the result is hard to interpret. It appears they excluded their fx gains in calculating their eps.

Make the accounting gurus interpret this one for us abeg.
I see eps of N3.74

Exactly, they did. The FX gain we see there is the normal FX gain we have been used to seeing. Check the company side of the income statement and you will see that the FX revaluation was taken out. Check out the components that skyrocketed other banks FX income and you will see them missing in Access bank income.

I guess they took advantage of the recent CBN policy on FX revaluation gain and adjusted according. Remember that they shifted their financial report release date as soon as that CBN policy came out.

From my analysis on their income atatement, I can see that they have masked close to a trillion in FX gain.

Look deep to see.

The market is really funny. IB closed on green while nahco and nascon closed on red.

It is a manipulated market. The whales like to sway attention and create confusion and in the process make their profit. Understanding their moves lies the profit

I think it's the naira that is depreciating.

Again from the present floating state of around 850-870 to N1000 will not be as high as jumping from 460 to over 800 following the floating of the Naira weeks ago.
So the margin of profit by these banks in the 3rd quarter cannot be as witnessed in the 2nd quarter

I am sorry. I mean the naira. Many thanks

For all the companies that had dollar revaluation spiking their profits, their q3 reports may be very disappointing compared to previous quarter.

Not necessarily. The dollar is still depreciating. It may be over N1000 by the end of September so more revaluation income.

Pz fair price stand @ N20 on my bedsheet but I don't see it getting to this price sooner except the Q1 2023 shows promising numbers like the latest Q3 and coming 2022/23 FY... good Q3 earnings report includes (income from sales of asset) which I think can not reoccurring. even if it reoccur it not a good sign for the business. operating income is the koko shocked though revenue and some other metric improves over the previous year.

PZ is one of the few company on NSE with negative enterprises value, I will not be surprise if they go private in the future to eat their cake alone undecided. Lol mkt capitalisation of about N47b and cash equivalents/bank of N86b, this does not mean they have the raw cash o. cash flow statements even shows the company use more of the external fund to financial their business as they generated less cash from core business compare to overall total cash in the book,

the company if they want to may give good dividend to pump up the price to the fp or over self.

for me and my household we will let it pass. would rather load more of DS at curretprice.

grin grin grin grin

Very many thanks Oga CP. The advice is in Order and well taken. Thank you so much

Talk to your Stockbroker, you will be required to write a letter to CSCS for the movement of the bond investments from your bank to your CSCS account.

Hmm. really? I'm surprised to see this. Not holding brief for them, but would easily rank United Cap as among the best when it comes to withdrawals, based on my experience. In fact made a req last week and account was credited abt 24hours later. For others eg investment one, I would have to follow up with calls and takes a while.

But I guess we have our different experiences. . .

My only issue with them (United Cap), was with their platform and inability to see daily gains. Here, Stanbic and ARM take the lead.

Hmm. I have not done any withdrawal yet. I am just surprised that they have not paid the last quarter interest up till this time.

If the rate is fine, I wouldn't mind the delay.
In fact I'm thinking of dividing my capital into 2 and run a 6 month comparison on 2 different platforms to see the difference in ROI

That's a good idea. What rate are you getting from Stanbic?

Always between 1st and 7th into the new quarter.
Reinvestment is usually done earlier before cash payment into investors' bank accounts

How's United capital mmf performing in comparison with stanbic?

Well, their rate is higher at 11.3% but I don't understand them. Just have some reservations

It varies by FM's.

Usually a couple of days into the month following the completion of a quarter: January, April, July & October.

For example, FBNQ and I think, SIAML both made their Q3 payments on 5th October.

Thanks Bro. I wonder what is delaying United Capital. They are yet to pay.

Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Standardguy(m): 6:08pm On Feb 19, 2022
Dear esteemed Members of this great forum,

Do we forsee a situation whereby NSE will tank as a result of USA's expected interest rate increase in the month of March especially as March in most cases is bearish?

If this is possible, is it right to reduce exposure to the stock market and come back later to buy at cheaper prices?

I ask because if goes through, some traders may come back to the market to pick good dividend stocks at cheaper prices even before the closing date.

Please, your advice is highly needed.

Thank you.

AFRIPRUD and UCAP:
How did these stocks offend Mr. Market?
The one that declared fat bonus is chopping beating, the one that declared lesser also....... shocked
Na crime to declare dividend ni? grin
Anyway, think it has to do with the period these dividends came in........by the time the big ones started declaring theirs, investors will appreciate UCAP/AFRIPRUD's dividends......
My Opinion......if you're seated in the bus, stay put, collect your dividend and do siddon-look (for those who bought at higher price especially). If you have more funds, buy more at dip........Bull won't pass in front of these ones without doing obeisance..... tongue

God bless you abundantly. This statement convinced me to hold on to my UCAP and even buy more. Your comments are outstanding and can hardly be faulted. Many thanks.....

UCAP right now is for seasoned traders, except you want to key in for long term, in fact very long term or should i say life time.............. In 6 months time UCAP price will fall to u=its year low

Hmmm. Just came across this. It is ideal to take some statements here with a pinch of salt and know whose comment to take. Some are positive while many are not. I thank God I jumped this. I wouldn't have forgiven myself.

Is there anyone with info on afriprudential registrars.i been sending mail and calls to them without success, could there be anything wrong.my dividends for afriprudential and ucap have not been paid.

I guess there was a serious mix up in their data. I shocked to discover that the shares I bought over a month was not in their record. It was a long battle to resolve it otherwise I would have lost my dividend. I only believe it was resolved when I saw my dividend.

You could follow my pattern. Just send a mail to SEC detailing your complain. You can also call them on 014621100 or 094621168. Just ensure you have the original CSCS statement and any other evidence of purchase. They will do the magic.

Best of luck.

please when did you get this email? I have not received this mail and observe this settlement

I received it yesterday. This is most likely the reason some of traders could not trade with the proceed of their sales. It will do us good to contact our various brokers to confirm our status to avoid being stranded.
