Are you sure her womb is still intact? I think that's where you need to start your investigation. If it is found to be compromised, that would be a ground for divorce as the marriage was by deception. It's not normal in this part of the world for a woman in marriage to have disdain attitude towards child bearing.
Family / Re: Help My Husband Seems To Be Addicted To Prostitutes! by stealth007: 1:25am On Jan 17, 2022
@ The Poster,
I hardly comment here but you indeed need help. This is what I think is happening;
Personally I don't believe in premarital sexual contact, but while you guys were dating, were you both religious or along the line you both became religious after having sexual intimacy?
If sexual contact was involved back then, have you both changed the rules of styles because of your new religious believes after your marriage?
If your answer is yes to these, then you need to resuscitate his former sexual fantasies in you otherwise you may lose him to any random woman. You thought both of you had left your former way, he obviously hasn't and cannot ask for that from you because of your new believe. Funny enough, your religious leader can't even help you because if you report him, you will not tell your religious leader that, that was what attracted him to you in the first place. I note where you mentioned Prostitute's suggestion of anal sex to him, he might have initiated that discussion. If that was part of your intimacy before, you might want to bring it back.
If your answer is no, he might have developed some levels of addiction to porn movies over time. He needs your help, now is not the time to leave him. The fact that he apologises, means he is remorseful. Have a heart to heart discussion with him, let him know that you're ready for any style of his choice. Most porn actors do use enhancers, porn movies is always about fantasies. If he needs to consult psychotherapist, there is no harm in that. All in all you will play critical roles in all these.

Romance / Re: Should I Go Ahead And Marry Her With This Her Mindset? by stealth007: 9:30am On Dec 17, 2020
She's correct, in African pallance it is the responsibility of the head of the family to provide and protect the dignity of his ward, and to shelter them. If you seek advice from anyone experienced in this regard, you'll be told the same thing.
I don't know whether you you are a Muslim, Christian or otherwise. Islam in particular, shares the same view as stated above.
If this is the only concern you have on the view of your future wife, please go ahead and marry her. Marriage is not always 1+1 =2. Good women do usually go extra mile in supporting their husband in conserving his spending especially if the husband is a supporting type but don't expect formal splitting of financial responsibility.

Politics / Re: Imperialist America: Propagating The Global Jihad: Nigerian Campaign by stealth007: 11:08am On Aug 15, 2015
My greatest worry is the sheepish behaviour of Nigerian youths, they either call this conspiracy theory or won't take interest in it all together. You will note this from the rate of contribution to the thread itself. This is the attitude of shortsighted people, if it were to be tribal related thread, the attitude would have been different. Our people have been so much brainwashed to the extent that they can't independently think of their national interest first without considering the American interests.
To the topic, USA was founded on intimidation and shedding the blood of red Indians by the listless European emigrants, the economy and the interest of USA throughout the World is maintained using the same method. In modern human history, the country that had waged and is still waging most direct and indirect wars, coup d'etat, black ops and acts of sabotage is USA! In fact, USA is constantly at war. This may sound far fetched but students of history will attest to this.
A quick review
Before the second world war, national currencies of industrialized countries were always backed up with precious metals like Gold. After the second world war, there is systematic obliteration of this requirement of using Gold as monetary reserve. the victorious party formed the UN with five permanent members with veto power! ( where is the so called democracy?!). The monetary functions of the UN was outsourced to the IMF and the World bank exclusively controlled by the American led western bloc up till now. The recognized reserve currencies by this IMF are: US Dollar, EU's Euro, Great Britain's Pound and Japan's Yen. Note China, the second largest economy currency is not there.
From the above

USA Installs and depose leaders throughout the world (especially the weak) as it interest dictates not necessarily supporting democracy. For example 1953 CIA sponsored coup to overthrow democratically elected Government in Iran and installed the monarch https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1953_Iranian_coup_d%27%C3%A9tat
Dollar is just a paper money not being backed up by Gold forget about what CNN says.(They do not allow auditing of their Gold reserve by independent body) They can always print as much as they want in reality. Dollar is being propped up by middle east petrodollar; This is the reason why Arab despots are the greatest US allies. US do not criticize them despite the fact that in Saudi women cannot drive, they can't go out alone, beheading of the culprit is still in practice and daily abuse, murder and detention of those that are critical of the monarch.
In the September 11 attacks,15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia. US do not always wants to investigate this; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hijackers_in_the_September_11_attacks
Saudi war on Yemen with support of US (an attempt to control Gulf of Aden), attempt to overthrow Syrian Government by Turkey US, Arab despots ISIS overrun of some parts of Iraq and Syria supported by these same Governments, US proposed balkanization of Iraq (http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2015/04/28/defense-bill-recognizes-iraqs-kurdish-sunni-militias-as-a-country), etc are all economical wars that centres on flow and control of natural resources, these are all lengthy analysis.

Politics / Yemeni War: Saada Children Shelter In Holes To Escape Saudi Raids by stealth007: 1:36pm On May 12, 2015
As the war rages on in Yemeni Cities and villages between Saudi backed alqaeda affiliates on one hand and Al Houthi movement with the support of other Yemeni tribesmen on the other hand, the Yemeni children resorted to holes as shelters to protect themselves from the Saudi air raids on their city of Saada. Saudi Arabia started its military aggression against Yemen on March 26 - without a UN mandate - in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement, which currently controls the capital, Sana’a, and other major provinces, and to restore power to Yemen’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, who is a staunch ally of Riyadh. It is unfortunate that the United Nation looks the other way and refuse to call Saudi Arabia to order.

I'm surprised by the thinking of whoever sponsor this purported adverts. If the average Northerner is targeted with this adverts, that's to show that the sponsorer does not understand the Northerners, because they strongly believe that it is only God that gives and takes life and this adverts will never reverse that. If the Southerners're targeted, that makes them to be irritated the more with the antics and desperation of PDP.

Nairaland / General / Re: INEC Voter’s Registration & The PVC Collection; How’s The Progress... by stealth007: 10:29am On Jan 02, 2015
The above named topic was created by 31st December, 2014, around 10:28am in Politics section of course with good intention. To my astonishment, it was completely removed by the moderator few minutes later, here is the link: https://www.nairaland.com/2069593/inec-voters-registration-pvc-collection and the passage is quoted hereunder:
1. Does anything in the said passage contravene the guide rules of the Nairaland forum?
2. If not can the moderator responsible for this action explain the rationale behind his/her action?

INEC Voter’s registration and the PVC collection; how’s the progress in your area?

With the 2015 general election scheduled to begin barely Six weeks from now.
1. How will you rate the preparation for this especially on the part of INEC considering the fact that electronic voting will be introduced?
2. In what way can the government, the INEC and all the stake holders be of help in this regard?
Please the respondents are needed in all the six geo political zones so as to know if these problems are generic or specific to some zones.
My experience:
I had registered before the 2011 general election, so I had the temporary voter’s card. Few weeks ago during the new 2014 voter’s registration regime, I attempted to retrieve my permanent voter’s card. I was made to realize that my data and that of many people from registration centre were not captured by the INEC database (I did use card for the 2011 general election), therefore I could not get my PVC and I was advised to register afresh.
Where I wanted to register is a moderately sized town that has thousands of eligible voters in Ogun State. To my astonishment, only three registration centres were provided by the INEC in contrast to eight Unilag registration units where I did mine in 2011. Against all odds I was there for two consecutive days in a bid to be registered, I wasn’t successful because of the population at the registration units until the registration closed. For this same reason I was in Lagos, I was told the same thing happened and the INEC personnel said that they were optimistic that further registration will be conducted in no distant future before the election, this seems to be futuristic and not forthcoming so far.
My view:
1. My temporary voter’s card was used during the 2011 general election. If the record of it can no longer be found in INEC database, that is a clear pointer to the INEC’s incompetence or there is another agenda behind that especially if this happens on a massive scale.
2. INEC has four years to prepare for this exercise. Since the electronic voting is new in our system why not begin the exercise earlier because there will definitely be some challenges?
3. Given the fact that we are almost seven weeks to the date of general election and the problems of electronic voting system like the issuance of the PVC cards, pattern recognition problems and the likes, INEC should make provision for the alternatives so that majority of Nigerian will not end up being disenfranchised for the fault of not theirs.
4. INEC needs to be as transparent as much as they can because Nigerians look up to her to conduct free and fair election come 2015.
N.B: Keep your response coming and let’s avoid unnecessary accusation and the use of vulgar statement.

The most pathetic is the way Nigerian youths ignorantly spread western propaganda. Calling Hizbollah a terror cell is indeed an American and Zionist stereotype, something EU refuses to do even under American pressure. I'll call on fellow Nigerians to study any reported news with objective mindset.

It's unfortunate that most of Nigerian youths do not find out the truth but would rather follow the stereotype. The whole Spying Saga is curningly and politically motivated for several reasons:
1. The personality involved is a prominent ACN chiftain in Ilorin
2. He is a prominent Shia Cleric in Ilorin.
3. He has been charged to court ever since the begining of January, where several sittings had taken place. Unfortunately for the SSS, they were unable to provide sufficient proof.
4. In the last sitting, the court asked the SSS to provide sufficient proof otherwise the acused must be release within 2 weeks. Only for the SSS to come public the following day and claimed that they were about to charge the acused to the court.
5.Ever since the publication, especially in the acused native State of Kwara. The news has been so much publicised on the State media to the extent that you'll have the impression that the the acuse has been found guilty of the said offence.

Politics / Re: Boko Haram Kills Cameroon Mayor by stealth007: 10:41am On Oct 21, 2012
Boko Haram began their activities as far back as 2002, but went unnoticed untill when the Government Forces violently cracked down on them. Ever since then, they've gone international. It's sill on record that prior to violent crack down, they've not been using sophisticated weapons and technology. As soon as they were internationally noticed, they were being supplied with the same level of sophistication with the Taliban and Al-Qaida Terror Networks. Going by the Government intelligent reports, one of their sources of weponry, is in Northern Cameroon. Note that Cameroon is not known to habour major Terror Networks before, why then should the same Country be the safe haven the source of tech supply to terror Network the like of Boko Haram? Their is a missing link! You will agree with me that the French Government has firm grip on all the Francophone Countries through the monetary control and the likes. Given the massive presence of French Special Forces and intelligent Operatives in Francophone Countries, the passage of ammo cache,IEDs and Vest-Riedden-Bomb technical know how to Boko Haram cannot go unnoticed and perhaps supervised by these French intelligent operatives. More so, who's responsible for the shipement of these technologies bieng used by Alqaeda splinter Terror groups to Cameroon in the first instance before being passed on to the BH, NOT BE USED IN CAMEROON BUT IN NIEBHOURING NIGERIA? Atrocious murdering of the Cameroonian Mayor on Nigerian soil may not be unconnected to this. This is perhaps the reason why the Government is reluctant to take on to the Finaniciers of the BH and the Bakassi Peninsular issues!
RIP to the dead Mayor.

15 years of wars by active military my foot! Which among the wars have they won? They're busy chasing around Terrorists which themselves have created. They're still busy creating other monsters in the case of Lybia and Syria, which is already backfiring.
Have you ask yourself the reasons why Isreali attacked Iraqi Nuclear facility in 1981, Syrian purported Nuclear installation in 2007 while keeping them as top secrets until the missions were carried out but when it comes to Iran, then Israeli began to make noise before the mission!
US has the history of attacking only weak Nations!
Throughout the 45 years of cold war with USSR, have you heared of direct confrontation between USSR and US?
Do you know the reason why US has refused to send thier foot Soldiers to Somalia? Research it out.
Do you know the reason why US will never send their Soldiers to Lebanon to participate in UNIFIL mission even against the insistence of Isreal?...the lists goes on.
Honestly I'm yet to see any decissive victory on the part of US in mordern warfare, don't let Hollywood movies decieve you.
When we as Nigerians remove the inferiority complex in our thinking then will'll begin to progress just like Iran did.
Dont let anyone classify you as having third world reasoning and cultures, Nigerians are truely great we only need to prove it.

@Rhynne,
You've waited for so long before you realised that it's a mirage for an Engineeer to pursue non-professional career in a banking Sector.
In response to your quest for professionalism, with your grade you can do your MSc in Elect in Unilag unhindered. Form usually comes out around March / April of every year.
What you need right now is the transition job/training. Your emphasy right away should be on skills acquistion, no matter what. You can start by undergoing training with the CREDIBLE ORGANIZATIONS, the likes of Siemens Power Academy, AETI. If you think you can't afford these then in my view you'll have to go the hard way by attaching yourself to credible organization paherps without pay. You can as well opt for contract ones, but make sure it is highly technical, the pay may not be what you expect but it will pay out, you may be surprised that these will be done for less than six month. The worst you can do is to be idle. Mostly important be determined, pray with the sincerity of purpose and God willing success will be yours.
Good luck.

Nairaland / General / The Most Easiest Way For The Unilag Msc Registration & Qualifying Exams by stealth007: 10:52pm On Mar 28, 2011
As we all know,Unilag's 2011/2012 MSc form is out, I am currently studying MSc programme in Unilag, Faculty of Engineering. When I enrolled for the programme, I did come from Yobe State a neighbouring state to Borno State, Maiduguri. When I gained admission and I was true with my registration, I realized the following:
1. The only time you need to come to Unilag is when you are to write entrance exam and when the Lectures begin.
2. Your entrance exams is the combination of GMAT and your professional/technical field questions
3. The exams is department specific, it can be OBJ, theory , SAQ or the combination of these.
4. The past questions can be gotten to you where ever you reside in Nigeria.
5. You do not need a transcript provided you have your original Certificate.

N.B
For the no 1 above,If you are not residing in Lagos, you do not need to come around except during the stated stages provided you have someone to be trusted on ground in Lagos.
