Religion / Re: The Wahala Of The Thief And The Crucifixion by Steep(m): 1:09pm
AntiChristian:
In perhaps what is one of the most perplexing passages of the New Testament, we find a story during the alleged crucifixion of Jesus the Christ that challenges the very core of commonly held Christian beliefs about Christ and salvation.

We read from Luke 23:39-43 (NIV) the following:

The Wahala

If we were to ask a confessional Christian today (one that knows of and adheres to the doctrinal confessions of the faith) what one needed to believe in for salvation, we would perhaps have a very long list. It would likely include belief that Jesus died for the sins of all, that Jesus was God, that Jesus was both man and God (belief in the hypostatic union), belief that the New Testament is the word of God, belief in the Godhead, in the Personhood of each member of the Godhead who were all co-equal and co-substantial to each other.
You don't you don't even see your ignorance in all your post. The last time, I asked you to define grace you ran away.
You like a man who doesn't know what a car is but he is arguing with a driver because the driver said he drives a car, does tht makes sense?

1. The man certainly believe that Jesus was more than a mere man, that Jesus is a kingdom howbeit not an earthly king for him to ask Jesus to remember him even at the brink of death.

Yet the 5 verses from the Gospel eventually attributed to Luke present a severe theological problem that strikes at the very core of Christian theology. The question before us is, what did the thief say, believe and do to be granted salvation? When we examine the verses we can identify only two things:

1. That Jesus was an innocent man.

2. That Jesus was a King (or would become one at some point).
The thief believed that Jesus has power to forgive sin hence believed Jesus was God.

Luke 5:21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

All the thief had to do to be granted salvation was to accept that Jesus was innocent and thus did not deserve to be crucified, and that Jesus would survive in some form such that he would become a king or have a kingdom. By this standard, all Muslims will be granted entry into the kingdom of God. The thief did not have to believe in the New Testament, did not have to accept the Old Testament, did not have to express belief in the Trinity, did not have to believe in the Godhead, did not have to believe in the two natures of Christ, did not have to even accept Jesus as the Messiah! He did not have to believe Jesus was the incarnate word of God, he did not have to believe that Jesus was the 2nd person in the Godhead…in other words, the thief did not have to believe in anything that Christians today hold to be true.
The theif recognized and called Jesus Lord, Is that not confessing Jesus, can you Muslims call Jesus Lord?

There is perhaps an even greater issue here. The thief claims that Jesus was innocent and thus did not deserve to be punished. See, Christians necessarily believe that while Jesus was innocent, he deserved to suffer and be punished, because he came to suffer for our sins as an act of grace:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 (NIV).

“And he said, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.” – Luke 9:22 (NIV).

According to the above passages, Christ must suffer and must be killed. However, the thief on the cross, seemingly disagrees with these teachings. The thief explicitly says that not only is Jesus innocent, but that he did not deserve to die. In other words, the thief is expressing an Islamic position that Muslims would agree with. Jesus did not deserve to die, he did not deserve to suffer and he was an innocent man. In other words, Jesus rewards a thief and claims the thief would be in the Kingdom of God with him because he denied the core tenets of Christianity while affirming core beliefs of Islam.

The thief in no uncertain words explains that his crucifixion on the cross is justified, but Jesus’s isn’t, however, confessional Christians would argue that in order for sin to be paid, it had to be justified through the death of Jesus the Christ. This presents a problem for Christianity. Jesus rewards a man and accepts him into the Kingdom of God for expressively, clearly and absolutely, rejecting core Christian beliefs about salvation!

Comments by Scholars
These 5 verses deliver a devastating blow to the consistency of the doctrine of salvation in Christianity. These verses essentially approve of Islamic beliefs and indicate that Muslims according to Jesus…would be in the Kingdom of God, since we believe that he was innocent and that the alleged crucifixion was not justified in any way. These are things a Christian today cannot deny, these are things a Christian today has to believe in, yet a thief with Islamic beliefs only accepted two tenets, both of which agree with core Islamic beliefs, and was rewarded and praised by Jesus! The scholars have had difficulty in understanding these passages. It must first be noted that only one Gospel records this incident and this is the Gospel of Luke:

The other three Gospels are noticeably silent on the thieves, except for the case of demonizing them:

“In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.” – Matthew 27:44 (NIV).

“Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.” – Mark 15:32 (NIV).

The final Gospel, later attributed to John (which John, we don’t know), does not mention any of the words of the thieves, it does not even identify them as thieves or rebels. Instead, this is all the Gospel as to say:

“The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other.” – John 19:32 (NIV).

Resolving the Wahala
Some Christian commentators (exegetes) have attempted to navigate around this narrative disaster by implying that the thief/ rebel had other beliefs, that he believed Jesus was a God or that Jesus was meant to die for his sins and thus was saved because of this. The problem with such an argument is that the only Gospel to mention this incident does not indicate any of these things. The Gospel does not indicate that the thief/ rebel believed in anything other than what was recorded. In other words, this is a poor attempt at reading between the lines and should therefore be rejected. If scripture is sufficient for understanding salvation, then the plain reading of these 5 passages should be accepted without having a need to insert anything into scripture, to force it to say something it does not.

Conclusion
These five passages are a disaster for any Christian who takes their faith seriously. Every core tenet that one needs to believe in to be considered a confessional Christian is necessarily discarded by the thief and approved of by Jesus himself. In fact, the very beliefs that Jesus was an innocent man and did not deserve to die, that his death is unjustifiable is an Islamic belief. Thus, there are two arguments to be claimed here:

1. According to Jesus, all one has to do to be granted entry into the Kingdom of God is to accept that Jesus is innocent and that his death was unjustified (which affirms Islam’s beliefs about Jesus). Therefore the beliefs of most Christians have been deemed unnecessary and useless by Jesus himself.

2. That belief in Jesus dying for the sins of the world is unjustified and that Jesus affirms this, thereby establishing that him dying does not acquit us of our sins (essentially refuting core Christian beliefs about the purpose behind Jesus’s death in the first place).

May God guide our Christian brothers and sisters to the truth of Jesus the Christ, which is to the Oneness of God.

and Allah knows best.

The theif believed Jesus has power over death and hell and to redeem him from the grave which power only God has.

According to the jews sacrifice must be made to atone for he sins of people, yet the theif believe Jesus can atone for him hence believing in Jesus sacrifices.
In summary,
The thief believed Jesus as his Lord the one who has the can save him (saviour) hence receiving Jesus as his Messiah.
Muslims and indeed anyone can be saved if they like the theif on the cross received Jesus as their Lord like the thief did and believe in Jesus ability to save them irrespective of their sin like the thief did, if they believe Jesus is the true king who kingdom is beyond this life.
Anyone one who believe this already believe Jesus is God and the sacrifice, this is what is important for salvation.

The theif attributed the power and nature of Almighty God to Jesus christ by asking Jesus to remember him in his kingdom even though he himself was dying.
Do you Muslims believe following about Jesus?
1. That he can Forgive sins
2. That Jesus is a king whose kingdom is beyond this life.
3.That Jesus is your Lord.
4. He trusted that Jesus is true hence all of Jesus words are true and trustworthy.
If you do this then you become a Christian.

As for believe in the Trinity, you don't need to believe in the Trinity to be saved but after salvation you will understand other things about Jesus, his father, the holy spirit and his kingdom.
No, we Christians do not believe in three God's, we believe in one God who is triune in person.
Jesus, the father and the Holy Spirit is the same God.

The highlighted shows that you're just a novice but anxious to a fault.

If you must know the Jews only believe books from Genesis to Malachi as for Matthew to Revelations they don't believe anything written so instead of arguing blindly based on what you can't prove using the Old Testament why not keep shut?

There is NO Bible verse from Genesis to Revelations that says:
"Jesus IS God"

So keep quiet and learn! undecided

Jesus is God, John 1 vv1, in Revelation Jesus referred to himself as the begining and the end which is a title for God Almighty alone.
Jesus is said he is the life (eternal life).
So Jesus is more than a messenger, he is God Almighty.

So there has never been a time i typed what you claimed OK can you quote any JW on this forum who typed:
"Jesus is just a messenger"

Your lack of knowledge is affecting you badly and you don't know it if someone say Jesus was an angel in heaven does that translates to saying Jesus is juat a messenger?

Well for your information you're just like a Jew who once argued that Jesus can never be a servant or son of his God, WHY?
Because Jesus said
"God is JUST a spirit" {John 4:24} and since there are many spirits then Jesus knows nothing about his God.
How do you answer to that? undecided

Don't you Jehovah witnesses teach that Jesus is just a messenger (angel)?

Why did God keep on destroying the nations that comes up against the Israelites?

The promise of salvation for entire human race will be fulfilled through one of the descendants of Judah and the remaining tribes of Israel must support this promised child to take the life saving message to all the nations of the earth {Matthew 28:19-20} so if the nations are allowed to wipe out the Israelites including the lineage God promised to bring fought this child then it simply means He is no longer the Almighty! Isaiah 55:10-11

So the Israelites became a special possession for the true God out of all the other nations on this planet but if they should turn away from the contract given to their forefather Abraham, Isaac and Jacob then they are no longer special but will become just like any other people who have no business with the true God! Exodus 19:5

The people continued as a nation to keep the laws of the God of their forefathers but at a time ten tribes out of the twelve turned into idolaters worshiping the gods of the nations and God disowned them remaining just three tribes namely Judah, Benjamin and Levi.
Judah is the tribe through which David was born, Benjamin is the tribe that produced the first Israelite King (Saul) and Levi is the tribe God commanded to stay inside the temple until the Christ comes so these three tribes formed what the whole world know today as the Jews but as for the other ten tribes that broke away from the covenant they are totally lost till today they are the ones referred to as Samaritans during the time Jesus walked the earth, today Samaritans has been dismissed as if they were never part of the arrangement.

Jesus was able to pass the life saving message only to the Jews and commanded the few ones who accepted him wholeheartedly to take this message to all the nations of the earth! Act 1:8

So why must any living Jew accept Jesus today as the Christ?

To be continued....
Jesus is that life. He was not just a messenger sent to pass a message, he was both the messenger and the message.

Allah said he is only one but he is obsessed with speaking as plural.

Muslims says when Allah uses plural pronoun to describe himself it only means allah is using the plurality of majesty.

This is laughable because the plurality of majesty was used by human rulers to make themselves greater than they really are. The idea behind plurality is that many is greater than one. Is this what the so called allah is copying? Human beings? Later Muslims will say there is nothing like allah?
By allah using plurality it just goes to show that many persons is greater than single person and hence he is not the greatest but only trying to copy the greatest which is many persons.
It shows that allah is insecure about his oneness by always referring to himself as many.
Thirdly, there is no where in the Koran that said allah is using plurality of majesty, which means the Koran is not clear and cannot explain itself, it needs other sources or conjectures to fabricate meaning.
Allah, Mohammad and the Koran are all rubbish.

Your rights to your view are within your rights.

Does fulfilling a law translate to termination of the law?

Jesus emphasizes that until everything is accomplished, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen will disappear from the Law (Matthew 5:18). This suggests that while certain aspects may be fulfilled through Christ’s life and teachings, the foundational principles remain intact.

The one to come after Jesus cannot be the holy spirit as the holy spirit was around before, during after the time of Jesus.

Well as other prophets were rejected before Jesus and he himself included it's not unusual you reject prophet Muhammad pbuh.

Selah
It is not my view, it is what the revelation of God reveals, Mohammad is a false prophet.
Jesus fulfilled the law there is nothing remaining. To fulfill also means to accomplish, if there is something remaining then it is not fulfilled. Mohammad just lied and decieved you guys.

The question is to clarify if believing in other prophets sent by God removes the belief in God.

The message of Jesus by your submission is in what sense please? Did he say there's another God?

When Jesus spoke to those who were already familiar with Jewish law and prophecy, did he not focus on fulfilling the law? Did he not say no laws of God will be abolished or neglected?
Mohammad was not a prophet of God.
Go and check the meaning of to fulfill.
If Jesus has fulfilled the law then ultimately he ended it legally.
Religion / Re: Pope Gregory Lied And Falsely Labelled Mary Magdalene A Prostitute! by Steep(m): 8:26am On Jul 20
Daejumong:
How Pope Gregory of Roman Catholic Church lied and falsely called Mary Magdalene a Prostitute to lessen her value and importance! The politics and female gender discrimination in the early church will shock you!

Mary Magdalene was very close to Jesus and because she was the one Christ gave his first message after resurrection to deliver to his runaway petrified male disciples made many early church Christian leaders uncomfortable!
Many Western church leaders sought to downplay her influence by portraying her as a sinner, specifically a prostitute.

Numerous scholars argue that because Jesus empowered women early in his ministry, it made some of the men who would lead the early church later on troubled and uneasy. They responded by turning her into a prostitute.

To make Mary Magdalene look like the original repentant prostitute, early church leaders merged her with other women mentioned in the Bible, including an unnamed woman, identified in the Gospel of Luke as a sinner, who bathes Jesus’s feet with her tears as well as another Mary, Mary of Bethany, who also appears in Luke.

In 591 A.D., Pope Gregory the Great solidified this misunderstanding in a sermon: “She whom Luke calls the sinful woman, whom John calls Mary [of Bethany], we believe to be the Mary from whom seven devils were ejected according to Mark."

Pope Gregory and other sexist, chauvinistic early church leaders believed that by turning her into a prostitute, they would make her unimportant and diminish her value . They made people believe she couldn't have been a leader, because of what she did for a living!

Sadly, this lies by the then Pope and other insecure early church leaders remained in the church centuries after!

No where in the Bible is Mary Magdalene labelled a Prostitute! She is mentioned 12 times in the New Testament, making her the second most mentioned woman after the Virgin Mary.

It wasn’t until 1969, during Pope Paul VI’s clarification, that Mary Magdalene’s true identity as a faithful bearer of the Good News was finally recognized!

Men need not to feel threatened by women! Jesus , the son of God, elevated women to a status never seen in a male dominated patriarchal Israel , to the chagrin of his male followers! Mary Magdalene was the most loyal of all Jesus’ disciples and followers- She was at His crucifixion and burial(these were times Jesus needed his friends the most, but they all ran away)! I look forward to when we will start having female Popes and more female General overseers! The gender discrimination in the church Must STOP!

while Mary Magdalene was never identified as the prostitute, your intention is clear which is not to glorify Jesus christ but to promote feminism.
In all of your post you always seek to lie, change and twist the truth of the gospel for your agenda.
Women has always had an elevated position in Israel and the disciples were never in chagrin because Mary magdalene brought messages to them, you just had to lie in other to propagate your ideology by using the bible.
The scripture already prophesied about people like you.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

FRANCISTOWN:

1. Read what you just posted again and you'll realize you've typed a whole lot of things without saying nothing.
There is nothing you can do against the truth but for the truth.
Show me I pray thee. Where it is written in your Bible that Yahweh created earth with water and out of water.
When your Bible stated clearly in Psalms 24: 1 (GNB) 1The world and all that is in it belong to the LORD; the earth and all who live on it are his.
2He built it on the deep waters beneath the earth and laid its foundations in the ocean depths.

My emphasis is on the emboldened. It says "beneath the earth" which means. Water was not part of the earth that Yahweh created. This is simple English.

Yahweh had to lay the foundation of the earth that he created in the ocean depths. Without the ocean depths, there would be nowhere for Yahweh to lay the foundation of his earth.

2. Every command of Yahweh was stated in Genesis one. Where is it written that the spirit was acting according to Yahweh's command.

See, there is no way around it. Yahweh had to receive help from the waters.
Genesis 1 vv 1, in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth which in the Jewish cosmology is the universe. Genesis is a summary of creation not detailed, water was a sort of by product of earth's creation.
The spirit of God was hovering Over the deep signifying God's specific focus on a particular action which is to separate dry earth from the mixture of earth and water.
Religion / Re: This Is Where The Bible Says Yahweh Got His Power From The Waters. by Steep(m): 2:59pm On Jul 19
FRANCISTOWN:
Did you guys know that "water" was mentioned over 700 times in the Bible?
As a matter of fact, it was mentioned more than words like hope, faith, prayer, worship and grace.
Do you know that there's always been a strange connection between Yahweh and water?
Let's check " Gen.1.1 - In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

My emphasis will be on the word "hovering". We all know that according to the Bible. The spirit of Yahweh was depicted by a dove. Only an animal capable of flight can hover over the surface of the deep.

So let's say. The spirit of the Lord which was a dove was hovering upon the surface of the waters.
Evidently speaking. The reason birds hover over the surface of waters is because it helps them sustain flight for hundreds of kilometers. It is tightly connected to the aerodynamic phenomenon called the ground effect.
Simply put, to receive power.

If not for help, a bird should be in flight and not hover over a sea.

The author of Genesis didn't tell for how long the earth was without form and void.
Which means, after Yahweh created the earth. He couldn't do anything until after his spirit hovered over the surface of the waters. And immediately his spirit hovered over the waters, he began doings. See.
Gen.1.3 - And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

Here! it is safe to say. The spirit of the Lord(dove) had to go receive something from the surface of the deep in order for him to be able to create a planet that he desired.

•When Yahweh wanted to destroy the world he created in Gen 6 thru 9. He used water. Yahweh could have just said, let the ground open up and swallow everyone and everything. Why did he had to use water?
Now look at what the Bible says in Gen.7.19 - And the waters prevailed so mightily on the earth ...

It means , water was superior to every other thing on earth. If anything was on earth then. Water was superior to it.

Every of Yahweh 's grand event always had to do with water.
When he wanted to rescue the Israelites. He had them pass thru water.

2king 5:1 "Yahweh couldn't take care of Naaman until he had him dipped himself in water". Why couldn't he rub himself in sand and be whole?

•John 5:4
"For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatever disease he had". Why did it have to be water?

•John 9:7 "Jesus had to use water to restore the sight of a blind man"

•Jesus himself couldn't do anything useful in his life until he dipped himself in the water (baptism). Why dip yourself inside the river 3 times. It's like one is paying homage to the waters. Should we say he went into the waters to receive power the same way the dove hovered over the surface of the deep.

Jesus himself said , " unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." John 3:5 (Gen 1:2 (and the spirit of the Lord hovered over the waters)
Why didn't he say air and spirit, or fire and spirit, or sand and spirit?
Why water, why must you be born of water?

•The power of the salvation that Jesus preached was in water.
John 4:14: “But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him ...will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life”. John 7:38: “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water”

The water is the one that springs eternal life. The only thing Jesus was going to do is to give you that water.

•Your Bible says Jesus Christ came by water. In other words, sent by water 1John 5:4-7

It further says that both the spirit that was hovering over the waters, the water itself and blood are witnesses. What do they bear witnesses of? And it says these three agree. That is, these 3 are in it together.

Everything that Yahweh created must survive on water. Remember, Yahweh couldn't create anything until after his spirit hovered over the surface of the deep.

•In the account of creation, your Bible never even mentioned how or when water was created. Should we say according to you guys' Bible. Yahweh created everything but didn't create water? Show me when and how water was created.

•Jesus told his followers, In Matthew 28 Jesus said, “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
The first thing he himself did before he got his power. He commanded his followers to do the same. Go into that water too , go get that power.

Scientifically, air is present in water in dissolved state. When Yahweh created the firmament which of course contained air. He had to divide the waters into two. One above and one below. He got the air from the water above.
Dry land(soil) came from water.
Jesus kept talking about Living Water of Life.
In Christianity the term "water of Life" (Greek: ὕδωρ ζωῆς hydōr zōēs) is used in the context of living water, specific references appearing in the Book of Revelation (21:6 and 22:1), as well as the Gospel of John. In these references, the term Water of Life refers to the Holy Spirit. - excerpt from Wikipedia.

Clearly it shows that water wasn't part of the earth that Yahweh created.

Even if Yahweh had existed. According to you guys' Bible. He would have been a God sent by the waters or he must have had a deal with waters.
Bible students, come and defend your book.

The same way you deliberately selected verses concerning water someone else can also select verses concerning fire and say God derive his powers from fire.
There is nothing to defend, The holy Spirit is the power of God he created the earth with water and out of water.
In Genesis the holy Spirit was acting on the ommand of God, he hovering over the waters means the next line of action is on the waters.
Water is symbolically, eg

The living water is the holy Spirit

John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit,

which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Baptism of water is symbolic it means participating in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus christ unto eternal life.

The climate of Medina did not suit some people, so Muhammad ordered them to follow his shepherd and drink his camel's milk and urine (as a medicine).

For Jesus to be called mad by his family sure says something about his state of mind too don't you think?

If your mum and brothers call you mad then you really need to check into the nearest facility at Yaba left!
First the verse did not say his mother and brothers but probably relatives. Jesus family didn't understand him initially but they believed on him after his resurrection showing.
MohamMAD on the other hand demonstrated he was mad. How can a normal human be bathing in the water of dead dogs, he even recommended Carmel urine for you Muslims.

So if your mum, father and brothers calls you out of your mind like in Mark they must be speaking our of ignorance too?
ignorance simply means lack of knowledge. Mohammad was a certified madman, who hallucinate and was confirmed to be bewitched.

Jesus's family members called him mad in Mark!
They were speaking out of ignorance.
But in Mohammad's case he actually demonstrated signs of madness.

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri:

I heard that the people asked the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ): Water is brought for you from the well of Buda'ah. It is a well in which dead dogs, menstrual clothes and excrement of people are thrown. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) replied: Verily water is pure and is not defiled by anything.

Abu Dawud said I heard Qutaibah b. Sa'id say: I asked the person in charge of the well of Bud'ah about the depth of the well. He replied: At most the water reaches pubes. Then I asked: Where does it reach when its level goes down ? He replied: Below the private part of the body.

Abu Dawud said: I measured the breadth of the well of Buda'ah with my sheet which I stretched over it. I them measured it with the hand. It measured six cubits in breadth. I then asked the man who opened the door of garden for me and admitted me to it: Has the condition of this well changed from what it had originally been in the past ? He replied: No. I saw the color of water in this well had changed.

Yes, the Qur'an calls Jesus the Messiah who is the slave of Allah!
The rubbish Qur'an calls everyone slave. Mohammad wished to have everyone as his slave, that is why he kept writing slave all over Quran like an imbe-cile.
MohamMAD didn't know the meaning of messiah that is why he didn't write it in the quran.

Abolish:
Means to formally put an end to something, such as a system, practice, or institution.
Implies the complete removal or elimination of something.
Often involves getting rid of a specific thing entirely without replacing it with an alternative.

Abolish vs Change
In Nigeria, the 1999 constitution did not abolish the previous constitutions but rather replaced them.

Abolish:
Abolishing a constitution would mean completely doing away with it and having no replacement or succeeding document.
In the case of Nigeria, the 1999 constitution did not abolish the previous constitutions in the sense of completely eliminating them without any replacement.

Change:
The 1999 constitution brought about significant changes to the legal framework in Nigeria by replacing the previous constitutions.
It introduced new provisions, structures, and governance mechanisms, thereby altering the constitutional landscape of the country.

Therefore, it would be more accurate to say that the 1999 constitution in Nigeria replaced the previous constitutions rather than abolishing them.

In the light of this i think Jesus lied he did not come to abolish the law!
Do you now see that abolish and destroy though similar do not mean the same.
Jesus fulfillment of the law is satisfying all the requirement of it after which it was abolished.

Jesus is a messenger and yes a messenger is more than a Prophet!
The Koran calls Jesus "The messiah" which is more than a prophet even though allah and Mohammad don't know the meaning of messiah, Mohammad just copied it and paste in the Koran.
