taharqa: PROPAGANDA don turn this one head into a Crazibee...smh. Big deal. Ambassadors visit various State Governors all d time. It is so Routine. The only reason you are over-hearing it in this instance is that d Considerable Lagos Propaganda Machine is playing it over and over again, precisely for Weak minds like yours. I wud say they are doing a 'good' job at that; plenty of such persons around...

There is no need to insult me. I was just alluding to the trend that I have being noticing about lagos. Think outside the box. I think the government of Lagos believes they can exist on it's own. That was my point OGBENI!!!!

I sometimes wonder if Lagos is still part of Nigeria. Isn't it interesting that foreign dignitaries now prefer to meet with a governor instead of the president of the country?

adim2: Allow them to censor first and see the outcome. Am tired of all this nude, killing and ritualist films that at the end has no meaning to it.

Quality over quantity. I still prefer Nigerian movies from the 90's.

Mr.Excel:
As much as 3hrs is unacceptable to say the least, to speculate that it's not done in the U.S. is a blatant LIE, you lived in NY,

1. How many times did you fly out from NY? and which Airport?

2. How often does POTUS fly into civilian airports rather than military bases?

3. Perhaps a lil research will help you: did you know how many hours pax had to hold and how many flights were diverted when Obama flew into KORD(Ohare International, Illinois) for his birthday?

When Obama went to Boston Logan, airport traffic was on a stand still till his limo arrived, even there's a YouTube video of ATC holding all incoming and outgoing traffic till he departed. Do you know how much time was spent on that alone?

Bros, before you speculate what you don't know, do your research.

That's an interesting take on the topic. But you have to admit that nigerian politicians go over board

victorv12: I wonder why our rulers like to visit somewhere without causing pandemonium! Isn't it possible for her to visit her state without being noticed?

It seems like all these gutter people with their poor upbringing are taking us down the drain with their gutter lifestyle. We must take a critical look at the background of the people we elect into these government offices.

They mustn't not come from the slum. Those that have such an upbringing are mostly oppressors, and show us how miserable their gutter life is. Nobody can tell me the tale of not having shoes to get my vote again!

She wants the attention

I urge every Yoruba man and woman, boy and girl, irrespective of political or religious inclinations, to support the DAWN agenda

Crime / Re: Why Don't We Investigate Deaths In Nigeria? by TCUBE(m): 5:07pm On Aug 08, 2013

Real christianity doesn't need "marketing" or "rebranding". It's either you take the way it is or you leave it. The bible is clear about homosexuality.

Hello nairalanders, I was invited by a friend to attend a sunday service at a nigeria church. The service started at 10am and ended at 2;15pm.That's 4 hours and 15 minutes. Can you stay that long?
Politics / Re: Fashola Replies Peter Obi Over Alleged Deportation Of Igbos From Lagos by TCUBE(m): 9:13am On Aug 02, 2013
Tribal sentiments have clouded the sense of judgment of many on this website. Why can't we just be objective and reasonable when we react to stories like this. We claim to be one nigeria but are quick to run to our respective "tribal post" when we all confronted with the harsh realities of out individual bias and tribalistic tendencies. It is amazing to me that the country has managed to stay together for 53 years. We still have a long way to go as a nation. One would have thought that the younger generation will be more sensible and reasonable, but apparently not in this side of the world. I will continue to watch your tribal war from the side-lines.
