Welcome to yet another wonderful day and say thank you to The Almighty for the priviledge. @ Opoks My man, no probs. Let the grains start raining I think we should do our lunch in an exquisite and reserved enclose. I know you'll start probing on the enclose. Don't worry about that. @ All Do have a great day. @ Opoks You are and will always be the man. Thanks for always keeping this thread moving and exciting. @ Johnsonlaw I understand some peeps were given their letters on Dec 3rd to resume middle of december. This group will also be around for the general induction on Jan 7th, 2008. After that they will head for overseas training and to Bonny when they are back. Maybe there are different programs for us but call their office and find out more. Do halla back with findings please. Cheers |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by tombri: 3:50pm On Nov 30, 2007 |
@ Opoks You are a man of many xcters but a great guy indeed. I couldn't in any perspective be worthy enough to handle this thread as some guys earlier suggested 'because am only priviledged to be welcomed in this fold of esteemed intellectuals. i can only say am honored to be on this thread and read from great minds. Very wonderful your taking you lead position again. Opoks is a great guy. @ Johnsonlaw O boi, how can one inform his employer when nlng is yet to present you with offer letter and you in turn signing acceptance. it would be a dicey thing to do at this stage. they should be knowledgeable enough not to send letters to our places of work yet. well my HR has not informed me of any only my individual referee. @ adrianic welcome back after the short break. a very good news from your place of work. keep the flag flying higher. @ ALL what's the next step for nlng. outside traing or within the country |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by tombri: 8:43am On Nov 30, 2007 |
@ Opoks U've always been the great guy and has shown it once again. Double-up to you, 'the great OPOKS' U know this thread would be incomplete with your absence. @ Wandel I wouldn't know the people getting letters now but I studied engineering and got yesterday. Two of my friends got as well - electrical eng and sciences. @ Biolabee Honestly, asking us to bring Int'l Passport and 16 pix is really funny without a substantive offer. Well, i have the feeling that the offer would be made on monday and for us to review and accept or reject before submitting the items requested for. Also they should be able to brief us and give us other necessary info. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?? |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by tombri: 6:43am On Nov 30, 2007 |

@ All Hope you've all had a great day. Mine has been ext, busy. I just found sometime to notch a post. @ Opoks You ruled this thread and will always be 'the main guy'. You are a great guy, pls do not fall short of that at any time. Off course you are a man of clear vision. Pursue your dreams without hesitation and with God, the sky can only be your starting point. The NLNG letter you got should not deter you at all, and you already showed your strong intent of moving ahead. Opoks ruled and still rules 'whether from back seat or not' @ Tommyex I appreciate but I can't be in charge for i do not befit that. I only recently joined this thread from a friend's ref. You guys have been great and I read a lot on the posts on this thread. I am only priviledged to be admitted and welcomed into your fold. Though I did not get the priviledge to relate while this thread was filled with so much life, excitement and passion, I can still boast I related with some great intellectuals and minds. I hope to meet with some of you sometime. Enjoy folks and do have a great evening. |

@ All Ahearty Good morning to you all. Hope the night was calm and peaceful. Thank God for a new and beautiful day. @ Aniffy Unfortunately, the stage isn't mine but yours as one of the pioneer members of this thread hope you are doing great and waiting to relish the nlng experience. @ Wandel I wouldn't know the allocation per units but all would likely be properly posted based on discipline and strenght. being trainee position we would be adequately prepared for the tasks ahead. Any info on when nlng would start calling or sending final letters? cheers folks. |

@ Pgm I feel you seriously. I have been trying to hold back myself and submerge my almost exploding anxiety in my curiousity. o boi this waiting period is really nerve-wrecking. just as you rightly said, i neva gave it much though after the assessment centre only to be favoured by the Most High out of all the better qualified and far most intellectuals i met. @ Wandel thanks for the info. January won't be bad at all. but they need to get us informed in december to get prepared and info our respective orgs. |

@ Uchetobi I wish Kuwena would read one of our posts and take heed. All these admonishment is enough for one who wants to have a rethink. But one thing no one can take from Kuwena is his ability to bring back so many folks to this thread through his post. Kudos to you Kuwena. Kuwena is indeed a great man!!!!!!! |

@ All I think Kuwena is becoming a 'DISTRACTION' @ Thought Please, kindly let your peeps know this plan 'A'. I might adopt if it suits pleeeeeeeeease!!!!!!! @ Wandel, PGM, Kenosky, Aniffy Any update from NLNG?? Cheers folks |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by tombri: 11:42am On Nov 26, 2007 |
@ Everyone Good morning to you all. Hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Welcome to a new week. @ Kuwena We are what we think of ourselves. The one true God is Ever Supreme and CANNOT be compared to anything. Whatever happens to His own is with His knowlegde. God in His holy book made us to know that we shall (confirmed) face adversities and persecution in different ways; but that we should REJOICE for HE has overcome them all. In Matthew, He asked us to come to Him all who are troubled and heavy laddened for He will give us rest. the world is filled with ills and disappointments but we can surmount all in HIM that has conquered 'ALL'. I can neither change your belief nor your resolve but just remember always that GOD has a reason for everything that happens and a purpose for you. Above all, He Loves you immensely and why John 3:16. God exists and 'ALL' - on earth, above and beneath are ansewrable to HIM. I believe everybody have not really had it rosy all through life so far. we have been faced with one problem or the other at different times but for those that held their breath in the good Lord, victory is theirs. I cannot start stating my experiences in life because I know no matter how bad it's been, another persons own would be more severe. KUWENA, YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO GOD IN ALL YOU DO FOR HE HAS BEEN THERE FOR YOU ALL THESE WHILE. Yes, I got my letter from NLNG but I have had my share of disappointments concerning employments. After graduation, I wrote tests for Mobil, Shell, Elf, Chevron and got none. Am not a dummy. I graduated in top ban 1% in my set and always belived once i write an employement test i will sail through. But God knew the best. I felt bad initially but handed everything to HIM believing HE is the Arthur and Finisher of my life. You are very young and the future is bright. Believe it or not, it is well. I wish you the best and pray God to have mercy and 'ARREST' you for HIS purpose. |

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by tombri: 10:23am On Nov 23, 2007 |
@ Wandel welcome back. what an experience. thank God for jorney mercies and seeing you through all the hassels. i understand start-up will be in batches, are you aware of such?? do they inform you if medics fail or result info verifctn fails?? do you know when induction would commence?? how is work and all? |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by tombri: 7:53am On Nov 23, 2007 |
@ Pgm hearty good morning to y'all i didn't just pick on you or had any motives, i was just moved by the s***t u know. sure the issue of being dropped after medics gives me cold shivers but i always try to expunge such from my mind believing God knows my fears and would grant my desires. if you feel same, you are only a human craving so much for that he desires. the line, 'why worry when you can pray' should be comforting to you and just make use of it. i understand nlng took about 89 or so finally but are presently going through the medical reports and verifying educational certs. also that finally, all will not start at the same time as the would schedule start up for different batches. i cannot exactly confirm this but a friend who called to confirm if he passed got these info. peeps, do you have any info on what is happening and how long we are to wait again?? just being curious. |
