Blazebond: They don't have the bravado Nigeria and Nigerians have. Despite our failures, I am proud of our history as a people. I don't waste my time with those who talk about bad things Nigerians do because how can you have met 10 million of us, not to say 70 or 100 million. Obasanjo said it, when we wake up, the African man around the World will be awake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEZpvyGnvAA?feature=shared

We don't even know if it's expired passport booklets. Social media and looking for online validation in the name of content and followers is annoying. |

Be wasting your time abusing yourselves, Igbo Hausa and Yoruba. All of you are very foolish fighting yourselves while others see the potentials you have. You better learn to live together and use each other's strength. 2 Likes 1 Share

goslowgoslow: Who are you people I don't need to argue with you online. I studied this in school and there is nothing wrong in writing analysis based on facts and public stories. We are not kids here so leave the unnecessary long words. We know what is going on. Celine knows the right thing to do if there is an infringement of her musical rights but hey, it's how the world is. Let's keep playing games. |

Men can never react to a man the way they will react to a woman and when women know this, they take FULL ADVANTAGE OF IT. The man, if he has anything to protect will restrain himself because the system is not fair. We know this already and just work with it. 1 Like

"As you no talk, you be man" It takes a lot to be a man. Women make a lot of noise that men don't make but when the man opens his mouth, he becomes patriachial. This is why they say men should cry too because women manipulate events a lot to look like victims and men store it in for a long time. Women. To be a man, you must be wise to handle them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-xf9hKfLws

oluwaseyi0: They don't use all of the songs and by adding their mixes to it, they have changed the content. On tiktok, people use part of a song not all of it. There is something called fair use..I think they are just being political and the more they attack him, the more he is stronger..if they control all the artistes to endorse or not endorse a candidate, the Tiktok stars would be courted by Trump's team. Democrats like to act holier than thou but I dislike artistes being political. When you were singing, did you sing for democrats or Republicans? 1 Like |

The thing called PERSONAL FINANCE is personal because only the person knows about their finances. You from the outside cannot add it all up until you get to speak to the person. There's some comparison the likes of OP makes and they say comparison is the thief of joy. Someone will live in a mansion and have no joy, another person will live in the village hut, enjoying fresh air and fruits from nature and will be the most happiest person on earth. Even people who work good corporate jobs that pay them very well, they still have regrets that the job pays well but they don't have time for their family. The wo-man who has time for family and kids are making demands you cannot afford, what economic value is your time?In life, things must be balanced. Let people work out what will make them happy in life. Do not judge people's lifestyle or finance decisions by their outlook. Aren't there many of our rich politicians thieving money but still in debt Time is relative. One man can decide to own his own time by doing Uber while you give your own life to 9-5. The 9-5 will think that is not what he wants to do with his life but may get home to order the Uber guy to deliver to his house at 6pm. The time 9-5 waa working, the Uber guy was at home seeing his kids off and picking them up. Life is never linear. There are many sides to it and your own view is not always the best observation because there's only a little percentage you know of the 100% picture. For example, Uber and door delivery platforms will not accept any car older than 10 years, they will not also be insured. Did you factor that in? Edit:I have added the sceenshots so that Nigerians can understand the value of money and time. Someone said you will work many hours for people back home who may not give a damn about your life except your money but when you choose to enjoy it, they will criticise you not knowing the pains you have been through. The cost of living in the abroad is high so don't go calculating their money and converting it to naira because it is $$$$$. You cannot afford their expenses so appreciate what is given to you. This is the same way people look at their rich relatives and think they don't have problems in their lives. Appreciate whatever anyone does to you, never be entitled. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5ZhgknVsiw 2 Likes

Politics / Re: Which Of These Senate Presidents Is The Best? (photos) by trium: 12:10pm On Aug 11 |
In handling the handover crisis Nigeria had under Yar Adua, I give it to Mark. I think the senators respected Mark as a person even if I do not for his GSM comment and a retired MILAD. Someone said Saraki's time did not pass bills but they forgot that Senate is not there only to make laws, they need to check the executive on behalf of the people. In that case, Saraki did that well. Lawan could pass bills, even those that were not in favor of the people, so if it is about bills, I don't want a rubber stamp Senate that will pass all bills, including Executive sponsored bills. Lawan came in, approved so many loan bills, no checks and look at where we are today. Even though Saraki wanted to be President, isn't it better to be bold than Lawan who also wanted to be President and became a houseboy to Buhari becauseof that Both of them wanted to be president, see where their ambitions led to as a nation 1 Like

MIKOLOWISKA: The point you are trying to make cannot work here. It is a PPP, the only thing private can do here is sponsorship. Countries participate in Olympics, that is why Russia is banned this year. It's not about private sector or what you are talking about. Countries take pride in Olympics medal table that is why they invest and reward athletes. 24 years ago China was not where it was. It's all about the government, not private sector for Olympics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbUMLpgHrP8?feature=shared https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGqZpvVPLiQ?feature=shared |

Another member of Tinubu's economic council is speaking. First it was Dangote, with Otedola managing his social media posts, now it is Elumelu talking to FT first. Who is the petroleum minister? These are interesting times I think Davido has one line like that, "are you done talking?" 4 Likes

Sapasenator: I think you should be careful as some others have said of hasty conclusions. The person living in a shared room, is that normal Is that not what we call face me I slap you in Nigeria?Hostel style What if the person wants to getaway from that stress? There are people who live like that in Nigeria and we don't complain. We live a communal life and we even have people on Nairaland abusing parents who bring up kids in such environments. How is that life normal? Why is the white man living frugally smarter and a Nigerian living in a 3br abroad is not smart for living comfortably? Do you know what the past life of the white man is?Do you know whether he once declared bankruptcy. Do you think a Nigerian can cope with living like that and it won't affect his mental health? Everyone's story is different. This person living in a shared room is not enjoying. That's suffering and I don't care if he is black or white. I sense some level of inferiority complex here. That a white man does something does not make it right. Highly qualified Nigerians are making a good life for themselves abroad and you want them to suffer to make it. Bros how far I will take that Nigerian immigrant who is taking care of 2 families in 2 continents over someone who cannot afford to take care of another human being and not raise a family. Wherever you go, immigrants have the hustle power because they see opportunities homies take for granted. This is why sometimes you need to step outside your comfort zone to see your privilege. 5 Likes |

Sapasenator: You can't be so sure is what I am saying. I know Nigerians show off but the hustle is real abroad and most of them get a wakeup call The funny part is that no one cares as much as the people trying to impress others. People should adjust to the reality of their lives, you can't be in Nigeria and be thinking like you are abroad and vice versa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNGhWdwkGks?feature=shared |

Learn to mind your business and live your life. Northerners hardly travel outside Nigeria, everyone has a different story. Just because you see some people show off does not mean the Uber or Skip The Dishes guy doesn't have his own struggle to feed family. Cho cho cho as if Nigerians can be compared with Indian, Chinese or Pakistan migrants. Let people live. What about the Nigerians in Nigeria living fake lifestyle and copying oyinbo life inside nigeria nko? Thr people they want to impress think they live in jungles when they travel. Let people be 32 Likes 4 Shares |
