Politics / Re: Atiku’s Mother Is From Jigawa - Isyaku Adamu by Trumps: 9:03am On Apr 24, 2019
ikewaterwater:
A Cetenarian Dutse Emirate Official who spoke about Atiku's controversial nationality, disclosed that Atiku's mother is from Jigawa. This came after Mr Abubakar responded to the APC claims, by stressing that he was born and raised a Nigerian and has the conditional right to contest for the Nigerian presidency. On Tuesday, the centenarian  official of the Dutse Emirate in Jigawa State, Isyaku Adamu, told journalists who visited the community that Atiku's mother, Aisha, popularly called ‘Kande Yar-Malam’, who is from Jigawa married Mr Abubakar’s father after her first marriage crashed.  He further disclosed that Mr Abubakar’s father, Garba, was a student coming from Sokoto to Dutse in search of Islamic knowledge when he met and later married her.

“He settled at our house, popularly called ‘Gidan Malamai’ (Scholars’ House). There, he met and married Kande and took her to present day Adamawa State where Mr Abubakar was born. Mr Abubakar’s mother, Kande, was junior to Alhaji Ali and Azumi; they are all late now. Kande was our daughter and Mr Abubakar is our grandson. We are all Fulani by tribe; our forefathers are scholars here in Dutse, that’s why our home is called Gidan Malamai.”

The chief who only agreed to speak on the condition that he would not be identified, reportedly told the journalists upon enquiry that Mr Abubakar’s mother was a daughter of one late Abdullahi from Jigawar Sarki. Premium Times reported that he is a high-ranking chief in Dutse Emirate Council to Jigawar Sarki, an ancient community in Dutse Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

Politics / Re: Buhari’s Family Has No Shares In Etisalat And Keystone, Investors Slam PDP by Trumps: 3:16pm On Jan 02, 2019
kahal29:
…Wants party, others to verify ownership structure at CAC

Due to incessant allegation by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that President Muhammadu Buhari’s family has ownership of shares in the Etisalat Nigeria and Keystone Bank, a group of investors in Lagos State, under the leadership of Mr. Michael Akekehgon, has condemned the claim, saying sale of both institutions followed due processes with the involvements of industry’s regulators.

For instance, after about a year of back and forth struggle, process of selecting a preferred bidder for the sale of 9Mobile, formerly Etisalat, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) jointly, in their roles as regulators, opted for an innovative approach to deal with a distressed company – 9mobile operated by Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services Limited (EMTS) which its predecessor, Mubadala Group, Etisalat International brand pulled out of the country due to massive debt.

Speaking further, the serial investor, Mr. Akekehgon told The Daily Times that the CBN in collaboration with the NCC, had in July 2017 appointed a Board of Directors chaired by Dr. Joseph Nnanna, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, to oversee the affairs of the company pending the completion of regulatory due diligence of the bid documents submitted by Teleology and sixteen others for its acquisition. He explained that Barclays Africa superintended the bid process, adding that there was no way the sale process could have been doctored as claimed by the PDP, because the entire procedures were open and plain, hence, the emergence of Teleology Nigeria Limited, who has since completed payment of $301 million to acquire 9Mobile.

He, however, advised the aggrieved persons, group or political parties to approach appropriate agencies to verify their claims.

“Whoever that is in doubt of the ownership structure of both Etisalat and Keystone Bank, have the liberty to verify his or her claim at the CAC.

“In fact, the last payment of $251.1 million to complete the total sum of $301 million to perfect the full takeover of the mobile network operator was sourced from Afreximbank,” he said.

The new owner of 9mobile had said: “Teleology is pleased to announce the constitution of a new Board of Directors for Nigeria’s multi-award-winning telecommunication company, 9mobile, following the successful completion of the tenure of the former Board appointed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and in fulfillment of the consequential transfer of final ownership to the new investors, Teleology Nigeria Limited.” “We thank all out-going members of the Board for helping to shepherd 9mobile through the critical transition phase it has passed through since July 2017 and wishes them the very best in their future assignments.

“For us, the composition of the new Board of Directors is another significant milestone, and this follows the issuance of final approval of no objection by the Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to the effect that the technical and financial bids Teleology submitted for 9mobile met and satisfied all the regulatory requirements. This is indeed the dawn of a new era in the evolution of the 9mobile brand in the Nigerian market”, it added.

The new Board of Directors of the telecommunication company are Nasiru Ado Bayero, Chairman; Asega Aliga, Non-Executive Director; Adrian Wood, Non-Executive Director; Mohammed Edewor, Non-Executive Director; Winston Ndubueze Udeh, Non-Executive Director; Abdulrahman Ado, Executive Director and Stephane Beuvelet, Acting Managing Director.

Similarly, the new owners of Keystone Bank who were referred as a Consortium of local investors called Sigma Golf Nigeria Limited and Riverbank Investment Resources announced transitional governance arrangement that include new Board Chairman; Acting Managing Director/CEO; Executive Director and two Non-Executive Directors. The lender, which had since 2017 handed over officially to its new owner by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), has since named transition board team including new Board Chairman, Alhaji Umaru H. Modibbo, Hafiz Bakare, a Non-Executive Director; Titilayo Tairat Adebiyi; Mr. Dan-Habu, and Mrs. Isichei who was the then Executive Director in-charge of Operations and Technology at Keystone Bank Limited.

Politics / Re: Bukola Saraki Blasts APC After Buhari Was Booed At National Assembly by Trumps: 10:02am On Dec 20, 2018
akinblog:

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday, fired at the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), hours after President Muhammadu Buhari was booed as he presented the 2019 Budget.

In his statement posted on his official Facebook page, Saraki noted that Nigerians have witnessed stunted growth in their respective businesses, lost their jobs during the recent recession and lost innocent citizens to insurgency in parts of the North East.

He wrote: “The last three-and-a-half years have been eventful ones at the global level and in our domestic economy. From dips in oil prices to major shifts in the economic landscape, crude oil production shut-ins and security challenges, the economy and Nigerians have been directly impacted by these events.

“Many businesses closed down and many people lost their jobs during the recent recession. In the same period, we lost innocent citizens to insurgency in parts of the North East, thousands were displaced, and many lives also lost due to clashes between farmers and herders, in addition to the general hardship unleashed by unstable economic winds.
“The recovery from the recession is still fragile. The fundamentals underlying the recovery remain weak, and if unchecked, can lead to dire consequences. The economy still runs on oil and very little progress has been made in terms of diversification.

“As a result, the expansionary budget policy in effect since 2016, which was aimed at raising spending and stimulating growth in the economy, was not matched by achievable revenue targets. The corollary is higher and rising deficit as well as a considerable debt burden, all due to an unsustainable fiscal stance.

“The under-performance of independent revenues is straining government’s ability to meet its expenditure, especially investments in critical infrastructure. This further exposes government to higher deficit levels which have been largely financed by borrowing.

“To be clear, two scenarios will play out if we do not deal decisively with challenges to revenue. These would be to: i. accommodate higher debt with higher repayment costs, which is not sustainable; ii. reduce the capital budget, which would mean a slow-down in government investment in critical infrastructure. This, again, does not aid growth or economy development.

“It is for these reasons that the National Assembly required that the 2018 Budget proposal and future ones be accompanied by a Finance Bill, which would give credence to the financial proposals of government.

“It is one way of establishing credibility in projected revenues. It is imperative, therefore, that a 2019 Finance Bill is submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.”

Politics / Re: Newsnew Minimum Wage: Why Nigerian Workers May Not Get Demand – APC Chieftain by Trumps: 9:28am On Oct 07, 2018
chigozie2018:
Second republic senator, Chief Olorunnimbe Farukanmi, on Saturday said the N50,000 minimum wage being demanded by Nigerian workers may not be realised soon.

The former lawmaker noted that the labour unions have been asking for N50,000 minimum, which he said would be 250 per cent increment based on the current N18,000.

Farukanmi, Chairman, Elders Assembly of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state, told Nation: “It is evidently clear that some of the various levels of governments in existence presently owe their workers over 10 months salary arrears.

“It means that if some local and state governments are unable to meet up the N18,000 especially as sources of revenue generation are dwindling, the proposed N50,000 per month demanded by the labour force, if acceded can never be met by these present government”

The APC stalwart said the negotiation on the demands of the labour unions for over N50,000 as the national minimum wage has been on for many years without any resolution.

The elder statesman warned that new minimum wage of N50,000 would cause another economic recession in the country, as it would lead to general increase in the prices of all commodities and food stuff.

He said: “The labour Unions should ensure that this nation does not slip into recession again since every Nigerian is aware of the fact that Nigeria derives majority of its revenue from oil and gas, but with the large scale reduction in the prices of oil in the world market, the country’s revenue has reduced drastically.

“At a time when the economy should be strengthened with a stable naira as against encouraging further inflation, to embark on a stable naira as against encouraging further inflation, to embark on a 250 per cent wage increase will be enormously detrimental to the successful growth of the economy.”

Rubbish talk from Mr former Senator with moustache. N50k for poor civil servant will cause economy back to recession but millions for each national Assembly will not cause recession. Nonsense shameless & selfish old Man.

The streets of Osogbo and other major towns in Osun State have remained calm, devoid of jubilation by supporters of the All Progressives Congress despite the declaration of the candidate of the party, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, as the winner of the governorship election.

Our correspondent observed that the kind of wild jubilation that usually follows such electoral victory is lacking in the state.

As of 10:45 am, Olaiya Junction, which is usually the meeting point for protest and jubilation was clam but security men were stationed there to prevent the breakdown of the law and order especially from residents who believed that the election was openly rigged in favour of Oyetola.

Army patrol vans are stationed at Okefia Motor park and other volatile areas in a bid to prevent protest which some people believe may trail the announcement of the poll results.

The candidate of the Propels Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, led in the first ballot by 353 votes but the APC candidate came from behind to win the poll amidst allegations of intimidation of voters and brazen rigging with the cooperation of security agents.

Local and foreign observers and many residents of the state have criticised the APC led Federal Government over the election.

The current Genocide in middle belt is all about FULANI EXPANSION AGENDA TO MASSACRE/WIPE INDIGENOUS POPULATION, THEN RENAME AND TAKE OVER THEIR ANCESTRAL LAND AS IT HAPPENED IN BENUE AND PLATEAU STATE!
NOTE: Just take a trip to villages attacked by terrorist Herders and you will see for yourself that the terrorist have since Renamed those communities to Hausa Fulani names! What sort of communal clash (How Buhari's Govt Describes the Grnocide in Middle Belt) will lead to terrorist settling there and renaming the attacked locations? Your guess is as good as mine. The plan is to drive out or wipe the locals off their own Ancestral land for fulani expansion agenda.
That is why buhari's terrorist govt is desperately pushing for Grazing Reserves for fulanis. Buhari's govt's Grazing Reserves/Ranching = Cattle Colonies. We all know what colonies mean.
The word Colony is basically a Settlement with human population. A place where groups of people decides to build houses and live there permanently.
Looking at buhari's plan to set up Grazing Reserves (Colonies) all over Nigeria, you will see that the plan is nothing but a demonic attempt to set up Fulani Settlements in all states in Nigeria. Their idea is to populate every state in Nigeria with fulanis until they increase in population (Import Fulanis from West African Countries) and take over the land through Genocide the same way they are currently doing in middle belt under guise of cattle rearing.

Anything contrary to the above is Taqiya LIES!!!!!!
You are a big fool, why digressing from the point.

It is true saying when people say, 'a cheat is always a cheat' . After the last incidence everything returns to normal for us but early this year God reveal to me in a dream that my fiancee got impregnated by another man. This awakens my me and I decide to check what she is up to of a recent because our introduction is slated for this month.

To cut the long story short I discovered she has been cheating again with her ex not with the same guy of last year . They have met in the city where I reside now many times according to the recorded conversation between them. Though she told the guy she has chosen to marry me, she still professes her love to him ,also she calls the guy several times at times she spent over 20 minutes, I also discovered she hides her number when doing so. The guy was trying to win her over because he knew she is a relationship with me.

Also I discovered she saved the name of the guy she was caught with , with another name and she spoke with him recently.

I regretted for not dumping her last year, but I know God still loves me that is the reason he is revealing all these to me before we tie the knot.

My sis who has been making some preparation for our intro when I told her all my findings, she was heartbroken and devastated she said that was the least thing she expected from her, she said I should have told her when the last incidence happened.

I have not confronted her again with her all her escapades yet, I want to seek advice what's the best approach break up with her because I have made up mind to end everything between us. God bless you all

Mrakeli:
The Federal Government has reacted to the ongoing strike embarked on by members of the Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU).

Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, while reacting to the development, on Wednesday, said government was shocked by the decision of the union to embark on another round of nationwide strike, despite its commitment to the implementation of an agreement reached with them in September 2017.
