THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO INCREASE AWARENESS ABOUT COST OF LIVING ABROAD

ALL THESE PEOPLE WHO GRADUATED UNIVERSITY BUT ARE CALCULATING POUNDS TO NAIRA DIRECTLY

THEY SHOULD BE EDUCATED, AS THIS IS NOT THE SAME THING.

THE WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TREATING AFRICANS LIKE COMMODITIES.

People that convert a foreign currency like dollars or pounds to Naira as a sign that a foreign country is worth migrating too are dumb and uneducated. Like you will be spending Naira over there, dumb silly reasoning if you ask me.

This man is on drugs. This information can't be true and people will still be working there. Where did they see all the extra money left to build houses in Nigeria if what is saying is true

will their expenses and utilities and cravings also remain stagnant??
expenses and utilities wont remain stagnant, if its about cravings, people earning 50kNGN per month in naija have cravings too. The normal thing is that u dont satify ur cravings if u cannot afford it, will 3k net income take care of a family of 3 in UK? it will. Will the household income be minimum wage forever? I dont expect it to be so.

The most hilarious part of it is; when someone in the UK tell u not to come and he obviously not ready to relocate back to 9ja..🀣🀣
They can't relocate back because most have sold all their properties here, resigned from job, closed up businesses. How do you expect them to return? Where will they start from? You won't understand.

They rush back because the bills are never on holiday. You pay every week. While you are holiday in Nigeria, your Landlord must receive weekly alert on rent, gas, electricity, etc.. I don't discourage anyone from going. Experience is part of life.

Looks exploitative. UK and US run their government and develop their countries primarily through tax. Online business are not left out.

My first sales in Amazon Kindle Store from my books bought was $200. But the money that got me after royalty and tax was just $67.

God forbid the day I will abandon a well paying Nigerian job just because I want to put on winter jacket in UK while my face is unhappy and my health is terribly under stress.

I do not mind doing it for a job or immigration to the USA where opportunities abound for even the very 1st generation of the immigrant family, but UK is a big NO.

The majority of Nigerians who have been in the UK since the early 1980s, they have not made it till today. Their children have not made it too.

The wise 3rd generation have embraced sport and entertainment, so that the curse of the UK will not happen to the 3rd generation of the family.

If you go to the UK, you are going there to suffer so that maybe your 3rd generation family can finally live wealthy.

So because you have 1 uncle or aunt that didn't make it In uk , every body who went to uk never make it. Even in Somalia , some Nigerians still make let alone uk.
As a carer in uk who earns minimum wage if you work hard and spend wisely you can save 300 to 500 pounds monthly after all your expenses. How many Nigerians on minimum wage can save the equivalent in 1yr in Nigeria.

Lmao do we look stupid? This is as fake as his career. UK tax is income base. Any yearly income below Β£12k is not taxed. And the max you pay for tax which is from Β£145k up is 45%.

Everyone just wants attention while posting rubbish online.

Person is being funny. 90k income and approx 63k post tax. That is not bad. The only way someone will think this is bad is if one doesn't pay tax in Nigeria. I pay my taxes in Naija. At least you are getting value for your taxes in the UK.

Tell your epistle to 95% of Nigerians that cannot boast of 500k in their bank account. Tell that to over 95% of Nigerians that cannot afford 3 square meal daily. You can aswell tell that to millions of unemployed graduates littered all over the country.

I laugh at the fact that money earned in UK and the rest is always compared to Nigerian currency. The money earned there is spent there. You don't earn your salary at the end of the month then jump on the next flight to Nigeria to spend it here because it has more value here in Nigeria. It is your savings that you have access to send here or you travel down to spend here that has value. They don't sell or provide services over there in naira or Nigerian currency.

What is the basis of the comparison everytime?
Foreign remittance. The best of houses in my area are all owned by people in the diaspora. Most families that i personally know are living comfortably Courtney of their siblings in the diaspora. Many had established businesses in Nigeria.

U guys lack knowledge for comparing one currency to another .

He living in UK the money is not enough for him to pay monthly dues like rent gas nepa etc

Is only if he save those money travel down to Nigeria he is going to be richer than u .

because I know poor mentality is in ur head that's why u are calculating rubbish ...

Any money u earn abroad will match their standard of living only when u bring that same currency to Nigeria that's when d money has value ok .

So stop comparing when d dude is still living in UK

Clean water
Cheap foods
Stable economy

And one person will be walking in the street and be like "Don't come to the UK"

Rubbish post.

How many people earn up to 10% of this in Nigeria?

You still need to spend out of pocket for fuel for generator, healthcare and other essentials.

Many people trying to discourage you are already abroad and have started doing well after 1-3 years
