Hillary cried yesterday. It must have softened the hearts of the women voters. grin

Those tears hardened me.
we don't want a crying menopausal president.

JeSoul:

yes and this was the time the rest of the country was going through that phase of ousting the Reps out of power and installing Dems regardless of anything. Landslides of Dems won in tons of states simply because they were democrat.

I have to say you make very valid points there when you speak of people spending time actually getting to know where these candidates stand on issues rather than the color of their eyes or skin or what football team they root for each superbowl, LMAO!!

I-man
@JeSoul

That is what I have been telling them but a couple of them even referred me to Obama's website to view even more demagogic windy drivel.

Charisma,great speeches and sharing a common racial heritage are all well and good but Obama has to come up with a lot more than that.

  Na true you talk so. But I fear our cries for reason are falling on deaf ears. As soon as another scientist calls us "backward and unintelligent" we will start crying and screaming racism YET isn't this racism just to vote for Obama becos he is black?
 If a white person came out and said he was voting for Romney becos he's white, that person would be crucified.

Re: Obama For President? by Nobody: 3:44am On Jan 09, 2008
No recount o . . . its now a 2% gap. 51% precints in and these fellows here are still talking exit polls.
Re: Obama For President? by Nobody: 3:45am On Jan 09, 2008
57% of Dem voters have been women. Now i see why Hillary is leading.

I may smash my new TV if I watch it live and Mr Nwando will not like it
Re: Obama For President? by Iman3(m): 3:46am On Jan 09, 2008
@JeSoul

The whole point is that if votes were simply cast on the basis of color,Obama wouldn't have any chance of winning for whites constitute the majority in the US.No point advocating something that would backfire on blacks

I am eager to see a Black president but Obama looks more like the new Jimmy Carter than the new JFK

Re: Obama For President? by Nobody: 3:50am On Jan 09, 2008
Even if Obama loses, it shld not be more than a 2% gap for him to still stand a very good chance. He will defo win in South Carolina. John Edwards is the one in serious trouble now.

I back I-man's exit polls, Obama may win. 54% precints in, still a 2% gap.

Hillary - 39%
Obama - 37%

Re: Obama For President? by Nobody: 3:56am On Jan 09, 2008
The real gap is the gender gap. More women voted for Hillary this time than in Iowa. Women and their penchant for tears sef na wa o.

Still a 2% gap with 56% precints counted. Looks more like a Hillary victory here.

The women have furnished the electoral equivalent of Kleenex to Clinton
