Mr eGuerrilla, U must be dangerous and full of evil! how many posts exists in Nigeria Army? and U carefully selected posts and promotions that favors Igbo officers just to confuse the public and manipulate people into hating the Igbos. You can see I have always known that Nigeria is not a country but a manipulation. Please I call on God and UN to intervene in this manipulation called Nigeria. How can people that hate themselves be a country? All the while, for more than 38 years Igbo’s have never called on the military to complain of any marginalization. Igbos have been denied many things from the Army since more than 38 years. Mr EGuerrila, U are very insincere and wicked. For only just less than 3 years you have seen how Igbos are taken over the country just because something seems to be favoring the Igbos. U hates the Igbos and the good Lord will punish U for that. I want to assure U that D Lord our righteous judge will surely visit U. All this while, U never complained or send this kind of mail for the Igbos. For more than 38years and Igbo officer has never been given the post of Army Chief of Staff and U never complained for them or post such rubbish to complain for their sake. The Lord will settle this country, U are reminding us the event of 1966. I always know that Nigerian Army is full of Igbo haters and they will claim to want the country to be together. U want Igbos to be part of this manipulative entity called Nigeria but U want them to be slaves. That was the plan of Nigerian military, we know them. But unfortunately their plan wasn’t working. God is very interested in this country, try any evil and see how you and your people will be consumed. If you like send your family and your father’s family to the bottomless pit, the good Lord will visit them there to reward them of your evil deeds. 1 Like |

Rather than keep trading words back and forth, i Suggest the SE/SS and MB prepare for the Father of all battles if the Core North in their Stupidity miscalculate. From the much i know about the 1966 if the Igbo Soldiers were armed 24/7 there is little or Nothing the Northerners would have done and the coup started with baseless lies/rumours and propaganda like this flying the net. The North Headed the Military for more than 44 years since 1966 and no Igbo man was found competent enough to be made a GOC of any of the four Divisions and today and Nigeria Did not go to Blazes. These Folks started with Sharia which was check mated by Aba/Onitsha boys , then migrated to Boko haram which has now been check with the Recent mission to Mali now the want to go back to their old trick. I have been consistently against GEJ stripping the Militants of their Maritime Protection contract , it is a very wrong strategy , the Militants would have served as a good back up should any northerner misbehaved. Now that it has come to this GEJ/Ihejirika will have to twit the Presidential Guard publish army posting to prove there is balance use intelligence to get to the root of this inciting rumour and deal mercilessly with the propagators. There should be a readiness to use force to deal ruthlessly with any dissent in the Military . I think this warning should be taken with the utmost seriousness to prevent the 1966 episode where some people became refugees in their country with their properties becoming abandoned property and 20 pounds given for their millions in Banks. 3 Likes |

@Ozichim, As I understand schizophrenia is a treatable condition that can heighten one's emotional state, resulting in dangerous urges, so I won't send you over the edge by replying in kind. You see, I learnt a long time ago that it is unfair to count the fingers of a man who has only nine in his presence. |

E gorila or what the hell your subriquet is, stop sniffing the ethnic fart. You went on and on listing the fairly good grades (c, c+) that the non promoted non-igbos graduated with from the NDA, why didn't you with every ounce of equity, list the grades that the promoted Igbo officers graduated with from the NDA or they didn't go through the institution or their grades are too blinding to be mentioned. Chai! You see you people are the real bigots and liars we have in this country. How wicked and insane you can be against the Igbos. We 've suffered too much of your injustice but who do we run to, who will listen when we cry? We've been yeilling for help since 1969, no body cares. Have you ever imagined the pains of being an Igbo? Rejected, dejected and completely forsaken by a country of our own. Igbos at a time had to change their names just to have food on their tables. The only geopolitical zone with 5 states, and you ''e gorila'' seem not to take cognisance of that, and why is it so dificult to make shift for a sixth Igbo state yet you major in trivial matters of military promotions, a trend your deceptive and unproductive lieing fathers both initiated, funded and nourished. You have suned ur filthy linens in the market square for posting this hypocritical thread on this forum. Shame on you tribal lots. 2 Likes |

It is hardly surprising that the sense of entitlement that is fueling corruption in the senate and houses of assembly is plagueing the Army. Again the army has disappointed Nigerians. These are nothing but soldiers of fortune. They should proceed and take their chances. Shameless losers. Nothing is said about the continued mismanagement of the country and the monumental corruption that has characterized Jonathan's govt. It is a purely selfish agenda pursued by a disgruntled few. The tribal pontification is a desperate attempt to create a pattern of behaviour where non exists. Indeed the beautiful ones are not yet born. |

This is a very lame attempt to whip up ethic sentiment in the military. For starters why didn't they post the full promotion list(s) so that we can see for ourselves if they claims are correct. While they are at it, it will be instructive if they can also include the state of origin of all the promoted officers (especially the Igbo sounding ones) so that we can see for ourselves if indeed those people mentioned are Igbos. We know the perchant for Nigerians to term some people Igbos and later not-Igbo base on their whims and caprice. Finally, I can't help but notice a very high and obvious (or odious) pitch for Yoruba military officers in this. I could hardly see any serious usual hausa/fulani posturing in this contraption. Does that mean that hausa/fulani are cool with the exercise, and the problem is coming from the usually unusual suspect. In anycase, let's see the colour and nature of this mutiny, Nigeria is indeed long overdue for one! 4 Likes |

The promotions in the Army in the 80s and 90s should be published to balance issues Also recruitment and promotions in the Nigerian customs, Nigerian Prisons , The Air force and Navy the Allocation of Oil wells should also be made available, How come no body has been seen crying over the lopsidedness in the Headship of the Judiciary and Nigerian Football Federation despite the present rot and incapacitation in those 2 bodies ,for God sake the Judiciary is supposed to be the 3 Arm of Government and only 1 part of the Country has been heading despite their low level of intelligence and literacy level since independence. 2 Likes |

Politicians and ethnic bigots should leave our army alone. The so called mutineering plans does not exist in the army I know. The present Chief is one blessed fellow and has continued to act so in his leadership, most officers and men can attest that the army is better in terms of welfare, professionalism and less political. The write up just shows fairness in the promotions and postings in the army presently, the former practices is what would have led to mutiny as promotions and postings were for only God sons. These days you have to work for it. Meanwhile the writer did not give details of all promotions and postings, he chose just to show the Ibo officers alone but if its in terms of numbers and juicy posting, the northerners and the westners still carry the day. |

Whenever i hear cries of 'we were marginalised before, now its our turn to do same', i always smile and narrow it down to inadequate information about the recruitment process of the army and the military at large. The army recruits evenly across all the states of the federation be it other ranks, regular courses, Direct Short Service or Direct Short Service Combatant. What i mean is, if 111 people are to be recruited be it in the officers cadre or other ranks, 3 are chosen from each state across the federation including the FCT. If we are to look at the number of states in the SE (5) compared to the 19 northern states (excluding the FCT oooo) or the 6 states in the South-West, i think it is only obvious these cries of marginalisation by the North is in order. It is pertinent to note that the army remains one of the uniting institutions and its officers and men are among the most disciplined in the country. This is the reason why the army council and the COAS should not turn a deaf ear to these allegations and internal wranglings. Most insurrections and unrest from the military anywhere in the world had its roots in lack of confidence in the leaderdship (whether such claims were justified or not is a matter for another day) and when same was not treated with dispatch, resulted in unnecessary deaths and chaos. Just my 2 cents 1 Like |

Th north crumbled Nigeria's Military. Ihejirika is trying to structure it back and they have started crying. So he should promote Boko haram sympathizers?. For all i know every northerner in the military is a boko haram northerner. IS time we begin to sideline them in the affairs of running this nation if we really want to move forward. The North Wrecked Nigeria's Military The North Wrecked Nigeria as a whole What else do they want? Silly fellows. We have seen blood! We have seen death, tasted hunger and starvation. We have survived the greatest injustice ever meted out to any group in Nigeria. He that is down need fear no fall. The best and easiest way to actualize the dream of an independent Igbo state is to systematically destroy whatever is left of the rubbish contraption called Nigeria. Where were those people threatening mutiny and reminding us of 1966 when their brothers connived to loot the police pension fund? Who knows if the army pension fund is intact? Time will tell. All through the years the Igbos have been sidelined in this rat-hole of a country, where have these apostles of equity and fair-play been? Next time round we'll react like a wounded lion. Embarking on a crusade of calumny will neither cower Ejirika nor GEJ into stepping down. At a point in this country I thought the Armed forces was the exclusive reserve of the Northerners. Now I know better. The Igbo man is meant to work hard and do all sorts of dirty deals to survive while his Hausa or Yoruba friend has choice opportunities reserved for them. No one complains because its their fate. The same propaganda that was used to Remove Mrs Chinyere Uzoma is Rearing its head up again. This time round we aint taking it lying low! 2 Likes |
