Well, like I've always maintained, a man has to be decisive, bold, daring and spontaneous.

I was raised that way.

Being passive will get you nowhere. Melvin's decision to not save himself the first time he was up, was cool. But he shouldn't have stopped there.

When you go for a show like this, it's the chance of a lifetime. You should seize every opportunity to sell yourself to Africa, to fight for victory in everything you have to win.

Hope this helps us learn too. Niceness will get you many friends and admirers, but it is not an elevating factor. What truly elevates you is your X Factor; your burning desire to rise and phucking CONFRONT fate.

Ricco had it, Hazel did not.
Richard had it, Ofunneka did not.
Karen had it, Keagan had it, Uti had it, and most especially, Kevin had it.
Kevin was a short black boy who no-one took seriously at first. But did it stop him? No.
He seized every chance in the Diary Room to sell himself to Africa, as well as show off his rapping skills no matter how imperfect.
He saw the hottest babe in the house, and WENT AFTER HER, suffering rejection but never stopping.

A man needs to be a GO-GETTER in his life. We were designed that way. That's why males are the heads of the nuclear family structure. A man should be decisive and bold. A man should be the one comandeering the family, and as a result, should NOT waste a second thinking about what outsiders would think of him.

Speak your mind, act your words, walk your talk, and most especially, phuck the world.

That's what a male winner does. That's what a male winner should always do.

cool

It is sad cos was expecting more votes. WA will never win until they stop this regional voting. I for one am tired. Maybe other WA countries should go for a try since they hate us(esp Gh n Naij) so much.
WA didn't start it...SADC did! We vote Nando, pokello and bimp,so I don't even know where the hate is coming from

chima12: You guys can see that some mellish fans still can't give up.at the crusial last 2 weeks of the bba,a lot of you were still hyping 2 people ie mellish, melaria instead of hyping only your favorite housemate.that is one reason why its difficult for naija to move forward as a nation.we don't learn from our mistakes and we choose not to learn from our mistakes. If dillish loves stephen, she should stay with him,if she doesn't love him, then its a pity but love shouldn't be forced n its not good to love someone out of pity, then she should move on but not with melvin or any bba housemate.the truth is dat melvin was so boring n his game was too weak,he lacked the drive n zeal of a winner,he lacked the winning mentality,he hadly expressed himself properly,I refrained from critisizing him all this while just cos his nigerian n I wouldn't want to think I am pulling someone down.mellish just won't work neither will melaria work cos it all depended on melvin winning.I simply don't see even maria hooking up with melvin, ladies like guys who exude confidence but melvin didn't really show dat character trait n the last two weeks for melvins game were a disaster;cleo, dillish n elikem took the shine out of melvins game so badly, only thing I saw melvin doing in the last two weeks was giving massage to the ladies.

If you read my post well, you'd have seen that I'm not forcing anything. I'm only seeing likely possiblities due to everything that I have noticed.
When Mellish started. You guys said we were delusional. Now you have seen with your own eyes that Melvin really likes her.
Let's just watch and see. I believe we ll soon start hearing some gists (remember Keliz)
Re: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by languys69: 9:10pm On Aug 25, 2013
Boboribo: Melvin was simply overrated by Nigerians and by his fellow Housemates.

Trust me, if Elikem was a Nigerian, he would have won. It does not help that Melvin got nominated only once and Beverly never nominated. They were just seat warmers while other housemates were building solid fans base through being saved from eviction.

safarigirl: First off, I'd like to congratulate Sholay and languy for the win.

Secondly, I'd like to thank avid Melvin fans Kslib, Andre, Omonime, Josydaky, Beniye, ItsModella, ella.b and all others I failed to mention. We fought a good fight

Thirdly, I'd like to thank all the non-avid fans who still supported, ochon, spade, Marairux etc.

Fourthly, I'd like to also thank the haters forkadict, ginger, The Amaka etc. Y'all helped liven the thread.

Also, team Elikem, SOM and co, y'all also lost too, but it's all good.

Lastly, all those who never took sides, but made this page interesting too, Iyawo, Bizbloke etc

Then our expatriates kgr28, GH Kwame, chriskwaku, SAgirl, Zimbomatic, 1,2 and Royal Pearl for your contributions to this thread.

S/O to the silent viewers, lucifer and his team...and a MIGHTY CONGRATULATIONS to Pastor O'neal for SADC's win

Safarigirl, signing out!!!!

Thanks, SafariLady. You did great, too. smiley

See me looking at my fone all red faced cos am light skinned, the same reason why I quit talking football seriously after manchester were thrashed by barca the first time...lesson: never take life too seriously.
When I look at it closely, I realised a lot of things, the game has gotten to a stage where ur personality don't mean much... Its all about which place u come from...
Anyhow you look at it, I think dillish was meant to win it... Plus Nigerians have got a lot of bad blood, nobody likes us but us...
I wish her the very best in life... Melvin however remains my winner... Goodluck threadmates, twas an awesome journey, knowing you guys was a priviledge, I have learnt to accomodate contrasting views, handle insults and avoid wars of blames... God bless you all, wish u success in all ur endearvours...

I can say it confidently that if Elikem was a Nigerian. ..he wud av won!!! He had that 'it' factor Spade outlined. He may have broken the barriers of regional voting just like Beverly did by snatching Ethiopia from Dillish!

You are so on point! I will never employ an MBA holder like Melvin to run my business. He is always in a quandary. He cannot make tough decisions. Funny enough, decision making is an important aspect of MBA. BBA is a big platform, I hope it launches his career in a big way. And may he learn from his experiences in BBA.

Okay, now its over, and the thread may be shut down soon; before it is, I have to do this. I joined this thread from page 300plus, reason being I'm a bit of a BBA fan, and I couldn't watch BBA anymore(don't ask me why cheesy), but I needed to keep in touch, and I have to say I have been overwhelmed! I got more than I expected from this thread. And although, I wasn't prominent on the updates front, I followed this thread, and I enjoyed every bit of it. The jokes, the flirtations, the fights, and the strategizing...it was all fun. Ya'll were my eyes when I couldn't see; and I wanna appreciate all of ya'll! @kslib, @safarigirl, @itsmodella(my crush), @THE AMAKA, @fork addict, @spade, @state of mind, @c'est moi, @Iyawo TM, @Ochongo(name's long), @dannyX(sorry, if its spelt wrong), @miss sparkles, @GOM, @hiteelong, @bizbloke(a.k.a jekyll and hyde), and every other person that has contributed to my BBA experience on this blog/thread. I really, really, appreciate all of UUUU, and even though our Reps didn't win, we had fun, that's all that matters! GOD BLESS YA'LL!
