funnyx: The report didn't state that he was chased by the police but by 'some men'. He must have had some dealings with these men otherwise they can't just single him out for a chase for no reason.
.

Plain clothes policemen arrested a SA woman and her friends just days ago, asking why she had Nigerian friends and threatened the girls with r.ape in detention. After fabricating charges against them, trashing their flat etc.

The killers could easily have been bent policemen.

WE NEED TO WAKE UP AND RECONSIDER OUR TIES WITH SA.

oshea44: this is fcukest problem, i am always having with my people, u go to another peoples country, u start forming over sabi and bullshit, now if the South African police kick their ass now, We start complaining, why is South African police after Nigerians alone? cos their behaviour is terrible. Period
.

SA police van dragged a Mozambican along a tarred road, with policemen jogging behind the van. Simply evil and heartless. It is not only Naija. Except you only rely on Nairaland for your information.

Mandela is the respect they now have.

After him, their social situation and divisions will become obvious like anywhere else.

boron10: After the killing of all foreigners in S.A, they will turn around and start killing themselves. What goes around would surely come around.

You are right! That was how Kidnapping started in Nigeria - When the Niger Delta guys were kidnapping the Oyibos in the oil companies government and other stakeholder did not do anything and after all the oyibos were kidnapped, they started kidnapping their brothers and sisters and presently anything "kidnappable" is being kidnapped.

MacLovington:

So you never heard of fellow Africans being chased down the streets with machetes?
Did Lucky Dube killers say they thought he was Nigerian or not?

One thing about Naija people is that until themselves or family members suffer injustice, they have no sympathy for others especially if the victims have no tribal/religious ties with them.
Truly, that's the case with most Nigerians. They feel no sympathy for others except they are related to the victim or are directly affected.

all4naija: The guy was not shot by cop, he was shot by his drug accomplice he took money from and supplied him with bad drugs or just an SA hateful killer(my observation).

Ur comment here can not be an observation but just a baseless assumption.

chris365:

guy be honest with yourself na. That was a deal gone bad. And Nigerians need to obey laws in other countries so they won't be targeted indiscriminately

Okay u need to tell the somalis that too cos u can see how they are beating the crap out of them also in the below article

Members of the Somali community in South Africa have marched to parliament in Cape Town to protest against recent attacks on foreigners.

Three Somalis have been killed this month and the Somali government has requested the South African authorities to do more to protect their nationals.

About 200 people took part in the protest, holding a banner reading: "Everyone is a foreigner somewhere."

Correspondents say xenophobic attacks have increased recently.

Some of the protesters accused the authorities of not doing enough to prevent attack on foreigners, especially Somalis, or prosecute those responsible.

Two Somali brothers were allegedly hacked to death with an axe in the northern Limpopo province on Thursday night.

Last week, Abdi Nasr Mahmoud was stoned to death in Port Elizabeth.

Mohamed Aden Osman told the BBC that criminals saw Somalis as "soft targets".

According to the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria, South Africans are becoming "increasingly desensitised" to attacks on foreigners, The Sowetan newspaper reports.

The BBC's Mohammed Allie in Cape Town says the violence is linked to the massive unemployment among young South Africans.

In the past two decades, many thousands of Somalis have fled conflict at home and moved to South Africa, where many have opened small shops and kiosks in townships.

From the above, I would guess all immigrants in South Africa are drug dealers huh?

@zetdee that started this thread is just a stvpid xenophobic dim wit whose intention is to extend his brutal xenophobic agenda beyond their borders through internet. But u should be ashamed of yourself cos as u can see, we are liberal and civilized ppl to even have allowed you a freedom of expression in our forum in spite of being disrespectful. It will take u and ur shameless intolerant folks a 100 years to learn how to be that tolerant. If u are claiming that Nigerians are selling drugs, my question is to whom? if selling it makes them criminal so all of u that are buying it from them are equally criminal of the same gravity.

My friend keep quiet, that guy must have involved himself in a shaddy deal. I pitch my tent with people that claimed that 95% of the killings of Nigerians in SA is related to non adherance to law and order of the country.
