Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 8:47pm On Jun 16, 2007
What is kalou doing on our striker list? That guy cant score an open goal.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 8:51pm On Jun 16, 2007
Haba
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by danniecool(m): 8:53pm On Jun 16, 2007
I think he is improving,

he will do better next season, it was just his first season in premiership and i think he tried, he still young and has a lot to offer smiley
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 8:55pm On Jun 16, 2007
Well i hope he does. We need youngsters like him.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 8:57pm On Jun 16, 2007
Som is just exaggerating. Even Shevy didn't do as much as him
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by danniecool(m): 8:58pm On Jun 16, 2007
that is why he is on my list
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 9:01pm On Jun 16, 2007
! To say d guy can't score an open goal! He reminds me of duff although he doesn't possess his speed. He's a creative guy all d same
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by danniecool(m): 9:06pm On Jun 16, 2007
yeah, he is, he make defender panic when he is with the ball, he push you to your penalty box before laying pass.
but i want him to be perfect with holding the ball
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 9:11pm On Jun 16, 2007
Shevy is 30 some whats Malou's excuse?

The boy is bereft of skills unlike Robben, Cole and Duff. They're times when he should pass the ball - the last minute of the FA cup final is just one of the examples - and he goes ahead to do something quite stupid. He just runs and puts himself in difficult positions. Save for two of his goals - against spurs in FA and watford ( or one other small club where he scored at the last minute) he has been terrible.

Wrong Phillips and Malou certainly have a lot to work on next season. To be fair Phillips is getting close to what we want.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 9:15pm On Jun 16, 2007
If you say kalou can't score an open goal, Shevy has on many occasions missed goals where nets were begging d ball to enter! Wat4d and sheffield games were examples
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 9:22pm On Jun 16, 2007
I'm not comparing him and shevy's displays this season.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 9:25pm On Jun 16, 2007
So y compare with robben
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 9:33pm On Jun 16, 2007
becuz robben is from dutch league and they are both young and attacking midfielders / wingers
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 11:12pm On Jun 16, 2007
I see. To me, d guy hasn't disappointed. He's got ball control and confidence unlike swp who trembles perhaps cos of JM.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 11:16pm On Jun 16, 2007
Since Drogba 'll be going to ghana, it's reasonable to get a striker who is used to d english league hence robbie keane. All these ones of adaptation na lasting issue- man don tire!
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 10:14am On Jun 18, 2007
Our Nigerian Paper the Guardian claims SWP is going to be put up for sale with a price tag of about 10 milliion pounds.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Razorr(f): 10:39am On Jun 18, 2007
Hope it's true. We can use the money for some more buys that would make Faggotson wet his pants! grin grin
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 10:45am On Jun 18, 2007
We do not need anymore players, we have a crowd of midfielders already. Besides the cash may not get who i want - Quresma.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Razorr(f): 10:49am On Jun 18, 2007
We would get Quaresma if we want him. The question is 'do we want him?'

Anyway, I heard from a good source that it's likely we get him, so keep your fingers crossed. cool

We need to have a lot of fire power on our wings.

Malouda is out, so let's pray Robben takes his essential Vitamins and stays fit! grin
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 11:23am On Jun 18, 2007
I hope your vital source is a good friend of Roman, cuz i hear he's wallet is going to keep closed this time around. grin

What do you mean about Malouda?
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Razorr(f): 12:12pm On Jun 18, 2007
Malouda ain't coming. That's why Drogba was pissed off and started making noise last week.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by tng(f): 12:52pm On Jun 18, 2007
I like the squad the way it is. Bringing quaresma wont change anything cos i dont think he would do well in the team.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Mustay(m): 12:23am On Jun 19, 2007
We need an english striker cos when d african 5 go 2 ghana,it'll be pretty difficult.
I guess that's y fergie got no african in his team.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 11:01am On Jun 19, 2007
English strikers are expensive, except we can get one on a free. The reading striker - cant quite remember his name - may be ok but you know how he'll be hyped up. We have pizarro, we have Shevy, and we can say we have kMalou.

Capello insists Chelsea is best team in Europe      grin   grin
tribalfooball.com - June 19, 2007

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello has declared Chelsea as the strongest team in Europe this season.
Despite Manchester United's triumph in the Premiership and AC Milan's Champions League success, Capello declared: "The strongest team currently in Europe - for personality, quality and mentality, is Chelsea."

On his championship-winning season with Real Madrid, Capello added: "Since I arrived I've felt like a salmon ,  constantly swimming up stream."

We know we are the best in Europe, but it would take more than Capello to convince the Europe itself (much less the world) the same. Perhaps a few Champions League medals would do the trick. grin

Guys, read for yourself what this clown said.

He said: "I am already thinking about the game. That is where I will make my mark. I want to show Chelsea that buying me has been a great move by Manchester United."
