Romance / Re: Can You Marry A Lady With Fibroids/ by 1honeybee: 5:07am On Jan 08, 2011
Apparently, a lot of females (young and old) do have fibroids and surgical removal depends on d size(s) as the case may be. IF u have very painful period every month wit a bit of clot and heavy flow(as the case may be) u may have a bit of fibroids and cysts. They can be potentially harmless though and may shrink wit time

Celebrities / Re: Listen To Ruggedman's Diss Song By 9ice by 1honeybee: 2:06pm On Sep 11, 2010

Ruggedman:
he shouldn't have recorded that phone conversation talk-less of sending it out to the public in the first place. That was very childish. Even though he only wanted to clear himself out of the mess, he should have handled it better, come to think of it, keeping quiet wouldn't have hurt anyone

9ice: what can I say, so its obvious he didn't intend to make this a public thing until Ruggedman's childish behaviour which probably only made him more angry but he shouldn't have released the diss track either.

Toni-Payne: someone definitely told this girl that her silence meant she was guilty. She just went on twitter few days ago without any known provocation(to the public anyway) and started saying things to which 9ice replied. she need to go and review her friends and ask herself if they're good for her or not. She's acting all guilty and even went to the extent of basically begging someone she does not know to stop hyping the diss song , seriously who cares?? So most people believe say na gongo-aso money make you marry nice, but do you have to prove them right by your action(s), really? undecided

Toni and 9ice, you people need to seriously get yourselves together. you decided to get married cos you were in love/felt like getting married/whatever but you shouldn't allow anger and hatred(maybe) to blind you to the fact that you have something binding you together for life, your child. Pls go review yourselves and actions for his sake

I'm loving the fight sha, grin

Politics / Re: Are Nigerians Resident In Uk Jealous Of Their Visiting Counterparts ? by 1honeybee: 3:50am On Jun 11, 2010
This topic is rubbish. the only people living in UK that can complain about this are those without a good job.  A lot of 'rich' friends of my parent come visiting every onw and then, my mum will house, feed and take them out and even contribute to their shopping expenses, which is annoying to me actuall, but wat can i do eh? is it my moni?
Overall sha. . . .if these people are living well, they wont have any reason to be jealous of ye visitors
Politics / Re: 2-yr Old Baby Sues Lagos State For N500m by 1honeybee: 3:26am On Jun 11, 2010
OKkkk. . . . .i laffed hard when i saw the topic and im still laffing.

However, i hope the parents win the case and able to give the child the best they can because lets face it. . .the probability of that child achieving alot in life with cerebral palsy and epilepsy is very slim.
If doctors arent satisfied with their profession in anyway they should pls quit. The doctor's action may nt be the cause of the baby's problem but how can they prove it didnt contribute to it?
Health / Re: Da Grin's Mom: The Hospital Killed My Son by 1honeybee: 2:57am On Jun 11, 2010
I'm very shocked at some of the sentences im reading from EVIL BRAIN who claim to be a doctor. If all or most of the doctors in nig are actually the way you've spoken of here then we're in big trouble in nig. I know there's no bed side manner of any kind in nig hospital but telling pt's relatives these things should be PART of medicine it is like that in the wesrtern world and i dont know about other affrican countries. when you give a pt medicine, you tell them what its going to do to their body and why you're giving them. you also tell them its side effects which will be written on the info sheet of the medicine anyway BUT as it is part of medicine, it is the doctor's job to say these things. Geeezzz
Doctors should stop moaning about their pay mahn. in nig standard they are still well paid and they should leave the profession if they're not satisfied with it in any way or form. mschewwwww

This is more than hilarious. . .

@Poster
Why are you still calling him? if he's got this idea in his head now, wat chances have u got of actually speaking to ANY man in the real world either in his absence or presence?. . . .SMH. If the person in ur dream was a female i'm sure he would have said u're a 'subconcious lesbian' grin
In my opinion oooo. . . . HE's JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU ANYMORE and the dream just gave him an excuse to quit.

this does not include university of east london, sbl and co though. . .
Education / Re: I Want To Study In Uk by 1honeybee: 10:37am On Apr 08, 2010
justwise:

That is not true, many universities in the UK charges from £8000 up for undergraduate.

@Op, you will struggle to find any University or College that charges £2000-3000 for diploma or undergraduate.

There are many sham colleges in the UK that will charge you £2000-3000 for diploma but u will never get a visa with their admission letter or CAS.
They will basically take your money and disappear.

Is this your recent research? this use to be the minimum price about 3yrs or so ago. I stand to be corrected but as at last year, the minimum was about 10-11k and it has significantly increased since then.

Siena:

The UK Summer BBQ's already pretty much organized. There was one last year, and it was a success, from all accounts.

Unless you're very organized, I can't see it working for you.

Where did it happen? when is the next one?
Education / Re: I Want To Study In Uk by 1honeybee: 4:52pm On Apr 07, 2010
ehnmm . . . .there's no uni below 12k for undergrad studies. i think colleges do 3k though but then u'll be studying for A'level nt undergrad. I'm aware there are some 'other' colleges dat do courses live HIV studies, statistics, etc for the price just around ur budget.

OMOTOLA. . . .pls stop listening to your deceivers. u can sing but not to the first level of production talkless of distribution.

BTW. . . . we ALL have more than one personality. That's why people go 'wow' when we do somethings sometimes cos those things are not wat we'll usually do. So ur case is not the first or last darling
Career / Re: The Reality Of Overqualification - Are People Getting Overqualified? by 1honeybee: 2:59am On Apr 03, 2010
saxywale:

Spot on bruv.

In addition, to the above

Depends on the chosen career,

1. A PhD is required for most jobs in Research and Development even at entry level. A good example is Schlumberger, A Mphil/MRes or PhD is required for entry level jobs in their REMS department.

2. Some engineering career require highly specialized MSc degree, a good example is Civil Engineering. Most Structural engineering firm would prefer a candidate with MSc in Structural Engineering than a candidate with BSc in Civil Engineering. In the UK, MSc in Traffic and Transport Engineering is highly preferred for entry level job in transport consultancy than BSc degree in Civil engineering. I know of someone with a first degree in Law and MSc in Transport/traffic that was chosen for an entry level job in Transport/traffic Engineering consultancy above candidates with BSc Civil engineering just because of his specialist MSc.

Although, BSc candidates may apply for this jobs and be successful but the companies will have to train them for at least 2 years coupled with a paid part time MSc programme in the specialization, most companies will try to avoid this at all cost as it will save them money and time spent in training a first degree holder to measure up to their standard.

3. Education is an investment. Knowledge is power.

Really? with or without a work experience in law or the traffic thing?

Music/Radio / Re: Ekaette Song Gets Banned by 1honeybee: 1:58am On Apr 03, 2010
saying this is too much for children to watch or wotnot is soooo out of line (for those using children as an excuse for the ban). If they were  avoiding children seeing the video, all the have to do is tell tv stations to play it after 9pm or 10pm, a total ban is ridiculous to be candid.
there are different adverts about sex in the name of condom, if these does not kill them there is no way in hell this song will do them any harm. Nigerians can be so ridiculous. People are here giving tribal reason(s) for the ban. . . SMH, news flash people this happens EVERYDAY. Ekaette's story USE to happy (dont even deny it) so why cant someone sing about it in a narrative way? I hope these kids of urs didnt see the movie either.
I bet its ok for these kids to watch and listen to lil wayne's lollipop though
