OP, NYSC started with my father's set in 1972. Obviously Buhari was a Lt Col. at that time, just successful in helping to keep Nigeria as a unit. Why would he then have done NYSC?

It's now Osun State. It was the Old Oyo now called Iseyin.

People who camped at Iseyin were told by the NYSC co-ordinator.
