And as for the issue of Autocheck giving a different result from Carfax and vice versa, that issue has been thrashed to death in this section, hence reason car buyers are always advised to carry out their own independent checks taking along their own trusted mechanics to go through the potential purchase with the proverbial fine-toothed comb . . .


Not all States in the US records accidents/salvage status in their Autocheck and Carfax record and not every car owner reports every accident they get involved in, lest their insurance premium goes up and they lose their no-claims bonus, so buyers should not only rely on the VIN NUMBER CHECKS as GOLD STANDARD cool cool cool
