my laptop shows a blue sceen and d message 'check 4 viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run chkdsk/f to check for hard drive corruption'. Pls help, its an hp dv6700

pls bro, help. if i put on my laptop it will come up untill i press the body if the pc. if i remome my hand it will stop at where it was like when it hang. the sceen is working perfectly. pls help

The problem wit this pc is that it is very very slow and tends to hang almost everytime(i.e when browsing). Moxilla won't open any page. At times it would trip off to bring out an option where I've to type ctrl + alt + del. It's so frustrating, pls help.

1~~ when i start my laptop/put it on, my acer laptop kips scanning disk D 1st b4 starting properly, it also says sometin about NTFL,

2~~ it sometimes restart by itself when am in d middle of something, it says there was an error or so and then when it comes on, there's a message that says
your computer have just recovered from an error

3~~ when i try to bring out task manager, it says that task manager has been disabled by administrator

pls wot does dis mean and wot can i do? ty

If you use your laptop in bed and the heat emission holes are blocked the laptop can switch off intermittently and then do disk check like you mentioned.

Are you the only person using the laptop? If not,the other person might be the administrator.

i do not put my laptop on d bed, i put it on a low table/stool when i lie on me tummy or i put it on my stomach if i lie on my back

i'm d only 1 that uses my laptop but i recently took it to where i bought it, to fix it cos it kept saying that my copy of windows xp is not genuine or i shud validate it. my laptop came wit vista or windows 7 but i told dem to put xp wen i bought it

am tired of going bk n 4th 2 dis guy jo. wot can i do pls?

Yeah, they have probably installed a pirated XP for you. It might also be the cause of its instability.

Windows 7 is awesome, I cant believe you had it removed.

Anyway, if you look out of your window you might probably see me across the street to help you.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for the above enquiry. This issue can be cause by installing windows update software licencing
or windows media player 11. Here's how to check click start, all programmes then windows media player.
A screen might be pop up (Below). Good luck with it all

@deji thanks for your response im using window xp, my system is 1gig of ram and 150 HD, MY ANTIVIRUS IS UP TO DATE which avanst , it fell from my hand on saturday so the right click is no working , and also whenever i touch the system mouse its right click but is working perfectly with external mouse, i was thinking of formating. kindly help me ENGR deji
