Try to take it just before bedtime with food.If you still have side effects,please switch your medication to dostinex (cabergoline)..they have the same function and dostinex even works faster,but much more expensive and the studies done on it are not as extensive as the bromo bnut many women are on it..

Hebrew woman: @agiboma, yea i take metformin while pregnant but as for progesterone i didnt kne knw i had low progesterone, i jst found out in March. I dont think you can hve low progesterone while pregnant and take metformin for it. Since not evryone wit pcos have low progesterone, metformin can work for them in lowering the risk of miscarriage. But once you have low progesterone in pregnancy (pcos or not), you def need the supplements until the placenta takes over after d first trimester.

Every woman is certainly different i have pcos and have had many miscarriges in the past. My 3rd pregnancy i took progesterone from week 5 onwards to week 14 of that pregnancy and it helped my hcg levels to double every 48 hours. My 4th pregnancy i did not even know i was pregnant i only took metformin up till week 11 when i found out i was pregnant. So for every woman its certainly different.

@agiboma, did you have low progesterone for all of you pregnanies? Also how did your 3rd and 4th pregnanies end? Please if you dont mind, how many miscarriages have you had and at how many weeks?

@Udoka2,i knw u've asked me dis question a few times and i didnt hve an answer at d time co my Dr had not sed how he was goin to tackle dis progesterone thng, so this is how my Dr wants to treat my low progesterone; he wants me to only start using the progesterone suppositories once i get pregnant so i asked him how about starting right after ovulation and he sed its not beneficial to start before you get pregnant. But when i came to America my Dr's nurse practitioner had told me that i should have started using progesterone as soon as i got pregnant or even better right after ovulation occured, so now am not sure why my Dr sed to start after i get a BFP. I'll like to know how your Dr decided to treat yours.

@ all, so i did what you can call extensive research on progesterone and i read many research publications and i have made my own decisions. I have also decided to ask another infertility specialist about this just to have a 2nd opinion. So it turns out that Drs do not quite agree on the best way to treat low progesterone. Some Drs feel that low progesterone is a sign of an already failing pregnancy and wont even bother puttin you on progesterone if pregnant while other Drs believe dat giving progesterone in pregnancy even tho it might not b beneficial does not hurt so why not gve it a try. The reason some Drs recommend progesterone after ovulation is cos its prepares the lining of the uterus of implantaion. So here is where i got confused which is why am goin to ask another DR, wen i was 6weeks pregnant my linning was good but i stil had low progesterone so am not sure what exactly dat means; does it mean they are not directly related to each other?

I started thinking to myself, why not start drinking progesterone pills but i came across the reason why Drs dont jst put patients on the pill. Low Progesterone is very tricky wen it comes to hormonal imbalance cos the body only makes progesterone after ovulation in anticipation for a baby but if pregnancy does not occur then the body stops producing progesterone and your period begins. So Drs that put patients on progesterone after ovulation, ask them to stop using it once they get a negative pregnancy test.

This is what i decided to do, since starting progesterone after ovulation does not hurt, dats wat i'll do. i'll start after ovulation and for any cycle am not pregnant i'll stop it after the 2WW. But i'l still ask another Dr.

I have read that fertilaid helps retore hormonal imbalance and it contains Vitex, which helps balance progesterone levels, and i jst started taking it on monday so we'll see. I also read that there are some natural ways to treat low progesterone and foods you can eat that help too.

Some of them are after making money how can one injection cost 6K, na vex I take stop jare, spending without result.
I have not done another blOod test since then, when I see my period, I wish to do another test.

Okay this what I found
I quickly found out that PUS cells are described as "round cell concentration" in the US/UK sperm analysis reports, so according to dr zita wests book, round cells are either immature sperm cells or white blood cells, so collectively they are called round cells. ( further stain testing, which most labs don't perform, will further determine the ratio of white blood cells to immature sperm cells) but according to the results you posted it appears that PUS cells are white blood cells, so the book says "a concentration of more than 1 million per 1ml white blood cells or 5milliom round cells may indicate an infection, prognosis depends on severity and a course of anti biotics may clear up the problem"

As for the color the book says " normal semen is opalescent and grayish, yellow semen might1) indicate high intake of vitamans supplements which is not a problem,2) high level of flavoproteins resulting from long abstinence which is easily remedied " she also mentioned that red color means there rEd blood cells in the semen....
So I am not sure what color the lab is referring to by saying straw.?!

Viscosity: "normal ejaculate is initially very viscous but becomes runny after about 10 minutes due to action of enzymes,if this does not occur within about an hour, sperm finds it difficult to swin up the cervix, this is not a serious problem, sperm can be washed and re-suspended in a special solution before being. Injected into the uterus"

According the TCOYF book, prolactin testing can be done on any day of ur cycle.

I hope all that English I typed up there helps u understand the results better. Finally God's report is what we believe.

While a few white blood cells in the semen is normal, many pus cells suggests the presence of seminal infection. Unfortunately, many labs cannot differentiate between sperm precursor cells ( which are normally found in the semen) and pus cells. This often means that men are overtreated with antibiotics for a "sperm infection" which does not really exist !

Yes I believe non viscous is good , what did she suggest for treatment of an infection, may be the lab did not think the results were a reason for concern about infection.

I did pregnancy test this morning just to make sure my hormone level has drop, it was negative. Have started taking Pregnacere conception, im also trying to detoxify myself. its well.I'm back on my feet now, then i dont want to take anything except pregncare for a month then after my next period, i can resume to vitex and sunflower oil i bought. It's well

Thanks once more. She suggested antibiotics and Vit e for him, that was exactly what our gyneaa prescibed for him with multivitamin. He didn't complete d antibiotic dose then and didn't take other as supposed to. I am beliving God he will religiously take them this time around

Update on me, i have been having cramps in M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ right leg for abt 4days now, usually it is one of the signs of AF but AF is two days late, i did the home test dis morning & it came out negative. I will repeat the test by thursday but i have resumed M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ vitamins intake since last nite.

How is everyone? I pray for a testimony (BIG FAT POSITIVE)this month of June for everyone of us, come on, I know it is possible in Jesus name. I had this feeling on friday and want to be sure if its a sign of ovulation, I had a salty taste in my mouth all through friday but when i tested for ovulation (using predict),the test line was very faint. at first when i woke up i thought its cos i had not brushed my mouth, even when i did i felt it all the day. the next day and up till now i have not felt that way. And as well i was having cramps all that day too.

@all finally got another gynae last week in LUTH. Surprisingly he myself and DH after going through him fluid analysis that his count was too high and that was the major reason for the delay. No one had ever mentioned this to us before now. I had my blood works done last week too, Hope to go for the result in 2 weeks. We must win, sprinkling baby dust everywhere.
