yeah Alonso is stressed out and it affects his driving. its fairly ok during QUALIFYING but come race day, it all falls apart for one reason or the other.
it will take a miracle for him to win this championship.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by DisGuy: 5:36pm On Jul 11, 2010
Alonso must feel like quitting right about now, who else is he going to blame, everywhere he looks he's being overtaken

the guy seems to be all over the place

Jenson Button probably thinks he's driven brilliantly by getting getting the spot, he only managed to overtake the slower manufacturers
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Beaf: 1:40pm On Jul 25, 2010
Nice race, anyone watching? Beautiful start from Lewis, very very supid start from Vettel. embarassed
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Beaf: 1:44pm On Jul 25, 2010

Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Beaf: 2:09pm On Jul 25, 2010
I hope Alonso crashes angry angry angry angry angry
Massa has been ordered to let him through. Rubbish.
I hope the FIA get Ferarri. This is not what F1 is about.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by coolguyz(m): 3:42pm On Jul 25, 2010

Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Beaf: 3:52pm On Jul 25, 2010
Breaking news; Ferarri bosses have been summoned by the race stewards. A ban for the team and points deduction for Alonso are in order. cool
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Beaf: 4:14pm On Jul 25, 2010
Breaking news; both Ferarri drivers (Massa and Alonso) have now been summoned by the race stewards. . .

Edit. . .  Ferarri have been fined $100,000 and referred to the World Motor Sport Council for a further display of FIA wrath (on a long overdue charge of bringing the sport into disrepute).
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by doyin13(m): 8:20pm On Jul 25, 2010
how come you were able to post in the middle of the race?

How Ferrari can still have fans after all this is beyond me.

Alonso just keeps coming off like a real prat with each race.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by agabaI23(m): 9:25pm On Jul 25, 2010
Alonso is a worse than a nagging wife!
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by agabaI23(m): 9:27pm On Jul 25, 2010
Strip him of the win! dock them 20 points each

I hope Ferrari get banned a few races, as well as the drivers points docked.

. . .Multi-tasking. wink

As for Ferrari, they've always been like this; in fact they were far worse in Schumi's time, but they've always had faithful followers. Its sad. Even sadder, Alonso too, will always have his diehard fans.

Heres some other not so new stuff.
Rubens topped the formula 1 drivers chart for the top gear test in a reasonably priced car (broadcast after the Silverstone race).
Up Rubino! cool

Re: Any F1 Buffs? by doyin13(m): 11:46pm On Jul 25, 2010
Don't take that Top Gear show seriously at all. . .

Everything seems to be hollywood on the show.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by agabaI23(m): 11:51pm On Jul 25, 2010
There will always be Alonso fan like Brown grin
I think you should condemn his prima dona antics for once. It is disgraceful.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Katsumoto: 12:13am On Jul 26, 2010
Alonso is quite easily the most hated man in sport now. That guy pisses me off; such a whinging crybaby.

Katsumoto:

. . .And Alonso hates the World right back!

This pic sums up a lot; grin grin grin grin

Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Nobody: 3:42am On Jul 26, 2010
as i previously said, i dont like for one bit what happened today because i am sure that Alonso would have passed Massa anyway (he was lapping quicker at the time) but the way it was done wasnt right.

abeg, let me savour this Ferrari one-two before the FIA deduct some points or worse!

i am an ALONSO fan and will always be biased towards him.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by FBS: 7:28am On Jul 26, 2010
Alonso? What a crying ninny. Does he always want and expect everything to go his way? blaaaaaaa!
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Nobody: 2:08pm On Jul 31, 2010
Hungary qualifier
damn!!! Red bull 1-2 followed by the two Ferraris. . . . . . . . . . . .  Vettel is one full second clear of 3rd placed Alonso.
as for Button: lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by DisGuy: 8:45pm On Jul 31, 2010
This race is going to be interesting, Hungary is always interesting anyway

Well done to the Red Bulls lets see if they'll cancel themselves out again, I'm sure one of them wont finish on the podium
the brakes will be tested to the max. on race day
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by agabaI23(m): 1:49am On Aug 01, 2010
It will be Massa vs Alonso
Vettel vs Webber.

Hamilton will be the opportunist grin
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Faeb: 12:59pm On Aug 01, 2010
Hamilton has brake problems already, even before the race has started! I hope it will go well for him.

I am really shocked that Red Bull and Ferrari haven't been punished for their flexible wings. People have been complaining about the Red Bull wing sinse China. I'm sure that the Red Bull will slow drastically, just as Alonso slowed in 2007 and ended his third in a row World Championship run, when his Renaults tuned mass damper was declared illegal.
The FIA rules say that the front wings must be 85mm above the ground and be rigid, but the Red Bull wings flex and drag along the ground, giving them up to a second in lap time.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Nobody: 2:49pm On Aug 01, 2010
what a great race for alo Alo ALONSO!!!!!!
Vettel was lapping one second faster than Alonso but yet couldnt pass him for more than 20 lap. ROTFLMAO!!!!!
VAMOS ALONSO, VAMOS FERRARI!!!!

as for M.Schumacher, he should finally be banned with his crazy moves that could really hurt someone someday!

btw Beaf, why the new name (faeb)?

The spambot got me! Normally, I wouldn't have bothered, but this is F1 weekend. embarassed
So so race. . . Did you see schumi, the old crank?
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Nobody: 3:46pm On Aug 01, 2010
^^^^^yeah, he is a danger to other drivers. race after race, i am slowly loosing respect for this man.
he was so desperate to get into point finish.

the spambot is crazy as usual, but you have a month or so until the next race to get your name back.
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Faeb: 3:57pm On Aug 01, 2010

I'm one of the lucky few never to have had respect for schumi. I really don't like cheats. In the past, I supported Mika Hakinnen against him (genuine love) and the Alonso (forced love). grin

Well schumi and the accident in the pits made the race quite interesting. The pit accidents especially with wayward tyres bouncing incredibly dangerously and cars crashing and piling one over the other just feet away from puny flesh and blood mechanics and their hyper expensive garages! Wow! shocked shocked shocked shocked
Re: Any F1 Buffs? by Nobody: 4:18pm On Aug 01, 2010
oh yeah, i have always been behind the Fins Hakkinen AND Raikkonen but last yr was a disappointment when Raikkonen went to sleep after a few races and never woke up BUT winning the championship in 2007 with just 1 point difference on the last race when Hamilton (or at least Alonso) thought it was all in the bag: PRICELESS!
i heard he was trying to come back to F1, lets hope so. . . . . .

Vettel was very lucky as he swerved to enter the pits, he was on his way to do another lap when the safety came out. if he knew better, he should have stayed and push on like Webber did.

the Ferraris has great pace at the moment, hopefully it stays like this or improve for Belgium. Mc Laren has a lot of work to do

Kimi's interview last week made it seem like he is pretty much done with f1. That would be a shame really, cos which of the prim and proper driver can casually tell the tv camera that they'd just been to do a sh it? grin

Anyways, it was your man, Alonso by a country mile in first practise today. He was followed by Lewis, then another country mile to Kubica. I don't think I'll be able to watch 2nd practise. sad
