Unfortunately A coup, backed by IBB and Ibori, is/was imminent in this country and the presidency or rather Obasanjo could spot the signs. Look at all the rumours going on all at once, from the manufactured/manipulated Robbery incident to the spread of falsehood about the number of northerners in top managerial positions in NNPC, to the fuss about the brigade of guards being deployed to welcome the president even thou the V.P never said he was not aware. The decision is a welcome development to all. The COAS should follow suit. Since he is willing to sacrifide his career by comprommising his office, he should just go. They ain't seen nothing yet. The Governors Forum should prepare for the EFCC, very soon their dossiers will surface. By then, it will be battle to save their political life, they will not have sufficient time to pander to Turai's whims.

DanBasau and his likes are no sacred cows,, As Beaf rightly said, 1 is down more will still go! I think this is one of the prudent ways forward, Jonathan will usher in his own agenda with style. He's been in the system for quite a while, he understand all that were in operation when his boss was there. I'm sure he knows how he will separate the goose from the gander, A little while from now, more ''cupboards'' will be opened, more actions will be taken.
