Interesting how many years the Americans can keep their missiles in storage before they have to throw them away. http://www.dtic.mil/cgi-bin/GetTRDoc?AD=ADA329324 |

Thiza: @AUGUSTUS COMPARING CORRUPTION BETWEEN SOUTH AFRICA AND NIGERIA SURELY YOU MUST BE JOKING....AND POTRAYING NIGERIAN MILITARY STANDARD WITH SOUTH AFRICA AGAIN YOU MUST BE DREAMING. COBRA APC/IFV BTR-3U APC/IFV VBL APC MOWAG PIRHANA APC MT-LB APC M-56 ARTILLERY MI-35 HIND HELICOPTER GUNSHIPS MI-171 TERMINATOR ARMED HELICOPTER ISREALI SEADRONES ATR-42 SURVEYOR AIRCRAFT NIGERIAN AMEBO DRONES PL-9 SRAAM MISSILES L-15 JETS COMING AKASH SAM ANTI-AIRCRAFT MISSILE SYSTEMS COMING 4 NEW STEALTH GUIDED MISSILE WARSHIPS COMING 3 SATELLITES SPYING ALL OVER THE WORLD... all these modern weapons of years 2000 to 2012 nigeria has, and you call nigerian armed forces an out-dated military ? i think you were born a big fool ! google all those weapons one by one...fool hahahhaha . |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by saengine: 9:33am On Aug 16, 2013 |
agaugust: Not even worth replying really. If a Frigate is at 20km from the coast, and a helicopter is at 8km from the coast it means that there is a distance of 12km between the frigate and the helicopter.....i.e inside the 15 km arc of Umkhonto. Which is the point. Just like the post you quoted me on, the point is to get Rooivalk as close as possible to the Frigate once any F-7 jets are picked up on rader taking off. Or are your F-7 going to take of from the beach sand? I refuse to get into this debate again...simple "saengine: And what is your point? How does your radar having a range of 600km change the point I made above? Your radar can have a range of 5000km, because you have already placed our ships at 20km off the coast. On a clear day they might be visible with the Unclad eye. Point is, unless your F-7 will take off on the beach sand, we can warn our pilots to come closer to our ships once we pick you up at 120km. So Rooivalk will be much much closer to our ships by the time F7 arrives." |

saengine: Interesting how many years the Americans can keep their missiles in storage before they have to throw them away. in year 2002 Morocco purchased from France many old Exocet MM-38 anti-ship missile of 1970 generation that has long ago been stopped from production . the missiles are now installed on moroccan navy warships and morocco has the best warships in all africa today. you south africans dont know missiles beyond all you can google...thats all you ever get to know. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 9:42am On Aug 16, 2013 |
saengine: run away again, you lost based on poor mathematical calculations. i shot down your helicopters. only Rooivalk is in the Umkhonto shield, but F-7 jet is outside it at 4km from the coast meaning Valour frigate is 16km away from the F-7 jet...hahahha 33% south african brain. 4km + 16km = 20km we were forced to pass mathematics in nigeria or else they will say i failed with the 80% group. high standard nigerian education, far superior to south africa. thats how your south african military will make mistake in calculations when you fight nigeria....dummy . |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by saengine: 9:50am On Aug 16, 2013 |
agaugust: And your st*pid brain is making the assumption that Umkhonto is being used to fire directly at F-7 jets. Umkhonto is being used to shoot down any missiles which enter the 15 km arc, protecting Rooivalk helicopters. Like I said unless your F-7 jets are going to take off from the beach sand, Rooivalk helicopters will be much closer to the frigates before you fire at them thanks to the Frigate picking them up on radar as soon as they take off. |

. NNS ARADU : Powerful Missiles, Powerful Radars... Mission capabilities Aradu is an all-purpose fighting ship capable of undertaking the following missions alone or in concert with other units: Sustained and independent blue water patrol over a range of 6,500 miles (10,500 km). Gunfire support to friendly forces operating up to 16 km from the coast. Air defense of self and cooperating forces up to a range of 13 km. Anti-submarine warfare (short range or extended range using helicopter borne torpedoes. Electronic warfare (intercepting and jamming). Anti-ship warfare missile attacks against surface units up to a range of 120km. Mine laying. Airborne or surface Search and Rescue. Service history In 2001, another refit (with American assistance) was undertaken, and the ship returned to operation. The obsolete AWS 5 radar and PHS sonar were replaced with a Signaal STIR (I/J/K) 60NM fire control (range, bearing, altitude), DA-08 90NM air (search, track) as well as an Atlas EA80 20NM passive anti-submarine sonar (bearing, class), in addition to these, all other systems including weapons were cleaned, overhauled and put in good working order. The non-operational Lynx helicopter was replaced by a Augusta 109E. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aradu_(F89) .

saengine: fool, the F-7 jet is 3 times closer to the Rooivalk than the valour frigates umhkonto missile launcher cells, and the F-7 jet PL-9 missiles are 1.5 times faster than your umkhonto missiles. distance from valour to Rooivalk is 12km, distance from Rooivalk to F-7 is 4km. south african 33% brain it will take only 4 seconds for the F-7 jet missile to kiss the Rooivalk and send the soweto pilots to Hades nigeria has 12 F-7 jets and about 10 air force bases along the coast line from lagos down to calabar. you dont know nigerian military, oh no you dont ! i have locked your south african naval forces in a d.eadly trap, even your admiral chief of south african navy staff CANNOT escape from it....and i am a nigerian civilian, ordinary civilian. .

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by saengine: 10:11am On Aug 16, 2013 |
agaugust: Oh ok and the time it took your F-7 jets to take off and position themselves before firing what where the Rooivalk doing? Having tea? Your pilots are going to take off, track targets and fire all at super sonic speeds? Um...ok then. By the time F-7 have picked up Rooivalk, Rooivalk is close enough to the Frigate. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 10:21am On Aug 16, 2013 |
saengine: learn to accept defeat. Rooivalk is coming to attack and the moment it flew off deck, nigerian coastal radars and TRACON radars have ranges of 500km to 600km and ATR-42 Surveyor MPA aircrafts has 330km radar and has been flying patrols monitoring all valour frigates movements. i told you the F-7 will be at alert in my simulation. go and google 'interceptor jet scamble' and thats your homework for today my dear student, google how jets scamble. the F-7 jet speed is about 7 times faster than your slow snail Rooivalk helicopters. fact. air to air combat is different from air to land attack, SRAAM missiles are fired at supersonic speed and PL-9 missile on F-7 is one of the best in the whole world. accept defeat and stop wasting my time. reason why i am tired of this forum...time wasting south africans who dont know the real art of war..... Nigeria is too hot for any African country in war, even Egypt will sweat before they beat us ! other countries will fall when they clash with nigeria...go ask Chad and Cameroon why they dont fight us for more than few hours....they run back to their wives and children at home i have finished this business. any new topic? time to sleep. i was awake all night . 1 Like |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by saengine: 10:31am On Aug 16, 2013 |
agaugust: Yes go sleep. Missiles have supersonic speeds, but the platforms from which they are fired can't be traveling at supersonic speeds when firing those missiles. Only the F-22 Raptor has conducted missile firing while traveling supersonic. There is no rush. Rooivalk will take out artillery one at a time under the safety of Umkhonto. simple |

@AUGUSTUS IF YOU STAY IN A GLASS HOUSE DONT THROW STONES.....SHOCKING:Nigeria Becomes World's 2nd Largest Carrier Of HIV/AIDS! The Director General of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), Professor John Idoko, Tuesday disclosed that with 3.4 million Nigerians living with HIV/AIDS, Nigeria has become the second largest country where the disease has afflicted so many people. Idoko, who made this disclosure during a public hearing on a bill seeking an end to discrimination against HIV victims, said the ailment was more prevalent in 13 states. Idoko, who noted that only 18 per cent of HIV positive women received prophylaxis treatment against mother-child transmission, noted that only 18 per cent of the 170 million population in the country had gone for HIV test, adding that more than 40 per cent of HIV positive persons do not know their status. http://www.google.co.za/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=positive%20comments%20by%20nigerians%20&source=web&cd=7&cad=rja&ved=0CE0QFjAG&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.stelladimokokorkus.com%2F2013%2F06%2Fshockingnigeria-becomes-worlds-2nd.html&ei=N_oNUuj0MoaphAe4uoDYBQ&usg=AFQjCNE_bdaU84p16vWjyT3UH7QaFb9XVA |

SOUTH AFRICAS NEW ARMS DEAL ESTIMATED AT OVER $10 Billion COULD SEE MY SQUADRON ACQUIRING 25 BRAND NEW US MILLITARY TRANSPORTER PLANES TO REPLACE C-130 Hercules. This is according to the information that I heard from one top officer. The details of the deal is secretive but according to the sources the new VIP planes for the president, his deputy and ministers are also on the card. Moreover, there is also a greater possibility that two more submarines will be procured. Watch this space!!! http://gosouthonline.co.za/62068/secret-arms-deal-on-the-cards/ |

swanky@vodamail: He must have you confused with the Igbo who have to beg the rest of the Naai-gerians for the right to belong. Or the Hausa and the other Muslims who have to pick up arms and fight other Naai-gerians. He really must have you confused with his fellow Hausa tribesmen. |
