One wealthy merchant had a horse he used whenever he travelled.

One day when he wanted to embark on a journey, he loaded the horse with small effects he was travelling with and mounted the horse with his servant.

When they got to the first town, they all shouted "See, this man is wicked! He loaded this horse with all this and still mounted it with his servant! He did so because the beast does not talk! The man asked the servant to alight so that he alone could ride the horse.

On getting to the second town, they screamed "See this heartless man! He is riding alone on the horse while this boy trekked. Surely, that is not his son!" This man now volunteered to alight so that the servant could mount the horse.

The third town complained "This boy lacks respect and is very stubborn! Look at how he is riding and his father is trekking! God forbid!. The merchant now asked the servant to join him on foot.

The fourth town yelled "This man must be a fool! You have a horse and you are trekking with your son while the horse enjoyed. Fool!
