@ youngies A hurum n'ina acho kam kowara gi ilu m turu akwa lekwa nkowa ha 1) When a father or adult continously provides for a child, the child do not know what the father went through to make those provisions all the child does is keep asking because it is the fathers responsibility to carry him/her along side with him. 2) People do harm to themselves thinking that they are doing someone esle. 3) What an elder sees sitting down, a child cannot see the same thing standing up which means when an elder instructs a child he has forseen what will happen because he is experienced and a child cannot forsee anything because he is still sitting down which mean he is still a child and inexperinced. I hope my translations and explanations are helpful enjoy them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

AGAIN, the Nigerian entertainment and showbiz industry and ndi Igbo in particular have been thrown into a mourning mood as the cold hand of death Friday snatched Chief Sunday Oliver Akanita, popularly known as Oliver de-Coque. Oliver de-Coque, described as a musician with a golden voice died 5 p.m. at Jola Hospital, Gbagada, Lagos. He was hale and hearty until afternoon before his death. The ace highlife exponent who became popular in the mid-70s under his band, The Expo 76 Ogene Super Sounds, was the lead guitarist of his group. The highlife sensationalist hailed from Ezinifite town in Anambra State and was Ikemba of his town. During his music career, his hit albums which also shot him into limelight included such heat albums as Identity, People's Club, Abada, Ibiri kambiri, and many others. His last public appearance was at the Tony Okoroji-led Nigerian Music Awards where he was conferred with Life Time Achievement Award. Now this coming fast on the heels of the loss of Chief Steven Osita Osadabe, these music masteros are fast going into extinction. Adieu Oliver!!c ![]() |
