Erm in two words, Phone Modem.

Its controls the calls, data traffic etc

OLD ROM plus NEW BASEBAND equals PROBLEMS

prefer a Spartan look tho. upped me baseband to. 58
got a gingerbread Rom too, fully functional but I will flash that later if I get bored.

this one comes with wifi tether baked in. sweet.

The device came with HTC sense on Froyo but Cyanogen Mod 7 is more of Gingerbread on Steroids!! Get my drift??

what do you guys think about htc legend, though the screen is a minus for me compared to other htc phones. moreover of all the telecomms in the country which one is arguably the best for data services. mtn seems to be very easy to configure but the cost is killing.

Got my wife's upgrade phone which is the Samsung galaxy S2

Ive heard good things so looking forward to it.

I should add, its also my first android phone, previously had a BB torch then nokias before that.

The BB has been relegated to my side chick used on a pay as you go sim for BBM only.

Cant wait to start using the SGS2.

Throw any video format @ the Sgs2 and its plays it wit ease and tht screen makes it look like a mini lcd tv
