@omokemesi with due respect sir it seem u didnt get the information clear. The letter was written by the former president Obasanjo on behalf of comandclem not Goodluck Jonathan. I think next week will tell a lot about our fate as patentees as the content of the letter replied by Mobil to the former president ll be known. pls to all patentees this is time for us to pray and believe God to intervene.

However, I think your question should not have been whether what you write is true or not since everybody knows you tell the truth; I think your question should have been whether you should post those researches on this thread or not given the advise by Mr. Omokemesi. I suggest you apply small break while we wait for the outcome of the negotiations.

@Yusuf,no doubt dat u are telling d truth, I don't see anything wrong with ur posts and I don't think this thread will be blocked because of ur posts but d problem some patentees are having with u is dat they think ur posts are too sensitive and in addition all patentees are only after d latest regarding d payment. So, I think if u want an election, d question should have been in d other way round as suggested by abaluv.

On the issue partaining to voting, I think Marms, Emmmyyax and Airmark had spoken my mind. Nobody has said Mr. Yusuf is not saying truth, But what we are saying is since meditation and negotiation is still on, we should give it a chance to thrive,   We may leave all that to LNP for now, to avoid this thread from been blocked due of use of harsh and insultive words. I could recall last year, one of the threads by Sir Omokemesi that was lyk a daily source of info for me while I was still in school at Owerri,  I woke one day, tried to access the thread and it was no more. I felt bad and worried inside me, coz that seems to be a thread passes accurate info on the latest of Ccln. It was actually blocked because of the harsh and insultive word by the enemies and opponents of the said thread and Ccln. It wont be fair if such thing repeats itself here, I would lyk to urge all MCPA to remain united, steadfast, prayerful, and hopeful. We'll surely get there. Weeping might endure for a night, Joy comes in the morning. Victory is sure!

I thought all along the issue have passed this stage of playing to the gallery by Mobil.

CCNL has already obtained a court judgement in her favour in Dec. 2009 against all those infringing on the invention
by Chief Uwemedimo and to which a patent certificate was duly issued by the Fed. Govt. of Nigeria in 1999 as confirmed
by their "summary of material facts".

Y A, pls throw more light on this 'bombshell' as this letter appears very recent and is capable of sending the wrong signals to
our esteem patentees.

@ Omokemesi, Sir what is your take on the above documents - it looks and sounds very unpalatable knowing that CCNL withdrew
the latest appeal from Court in order to facilitate and speed up negotiations. CCNL lawyer also confirmed it by saying that "to negotiate
is better than litigation" because of the long winding route litigation can take. I consider this letter and the accompanied document as
very sensitive to our cause. Should Y.A. not exercise some caution here?

1. What on earth is Mobil up to by this worthless assertions and trying to fool the Chief negotiator of CCNL?
2. Why is Mobil still using the word "allege" concerning this case as if the facts have not been established?

The key CCNL Negotiator is more intelligent than the fabrications in that letter. The key CCNL Negotiator will surely reply the letter of mpnu. Negotiation is still on and correspondence is effectively flowing unterrupted.
This is the first time mpnu will speak to expose themself for each patentee to know that white-men can also tell lies. Gone are the days mpnu can create confussion with letters. Mpnu has been cought red-handed.

Gentlemen, compare above letter head and the other letter head used in writing letter purported to have been written by Mobil. What is you see is a clear case of fraud and forgery. For those who dont know, there is a clear difference b/w Mobil oil and Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPNU). MPNU is oil producing subsidiary of Exxonmobil while Mobil Oil is strictly into marketing of finished petroelum products. MPNU is located in Victoria Island while Mobil Oil is at Malu Road, Apapa and both have different Managing Directors. The letter CCNL has been parading purported to have acknowledged indebtedness of Mobil to CCNL was written on the letterhead of Mobil Oil. So if there is a patent issue over paint it surely has to do with MPNU. Throughout the court proceding there was nowhere Mobil Oil was mentioned in court as having had dealing with Dr Uwemodimo rather it has been consistent about Mobil Producing. So how come a letter acknowleding Mobil's indebetedness to comandclem was written on the letter head of Mobil Oil. Administratively and legally, this is untenable. And some people pointed it out when people like Omokemisi and co where displaying the letter online as proof of Mobil acknowledging its indebtedness to CCNL and promising to pay at certain time. Instead of reasoning they preferred to abuse people that raised the observation. Again, the grammar and logic of the letter fell short of any serious corporate correspondence. That is the first poser. The second poser for the general public here is that to the best of my knowledge and based on what I read in ThisDay newspaper when the court of appeal gave its verdict was that the case brought by comandclem was dismissed. I am equally aware that comandclem went to Supreme court. So if comandclem won the case at Appeal, what did it go to supreme court to do? I attach here the judgment as delivered by the Appeal Court. “I wish to say straightaway that having applied for the patent and the Patent Certificate No. RP 13522 was issued (Exh. 2) Comandclem Nigeria Limited became the registered Patentee in the INVENTION called Anti-Corrosive Special Paint for QIT (Transteel Blue, White Enamel Q. A. D.) with effect from 5/8/99. The right to the patent in the invention will reside in the appellants who are the STATUTORY INVENTOR. Any infringement by the respondents (Mobil) or any other person will be actionable at the instance of the appellants (King Uwemedimo/CCNL) starting from 5/8/99”; From above, the Appeal court only gave CCNL the right to sue any body perceived to be infringing on its patent. So far, no company has been sued for infringement including Mobil. So on what basis is CCNL expecting payment from Mobil when no court has pronounced Mobil liable to pay it royalty or wahtever name called.

Breaking News To The Public.

The source of the documents i pasted above is from Mobil Lawyer Called "Mike Ozekhome". He sent me other documents which proove patent right infringement mistakenly on the part of Mobil. Yesterday, Mike Ozekhome texed me some messages which i will display any moment from now.
Mike Ozekhome is doing all those to cause conflicts in CCNL family. Mike Ozekhome intends to cause problems in the ongoing negotiation which will favour CCNL. Mike Ozekhome will fail in his goal to create enemity in CCNL.

THE WAY FORWARD.

No patentee should comment on the above documents until the end of negotiation. Comments of patentees will cause conflcts or distrations in the onging negotiation. Let patentees remain quiet for the outcome of the ongoing negotiation which i believe will favour patentees.

It is my candid believe that Mr  Yusuf has been, and with a little carefulness, will be very useful to this Assembly.

I am highly delighted that this Thread has become a force to be reckoned with as far as Comandclem/Mobil issue is concerned.                                                 You can see that from Yusuf's post, Mobil has recognized the existence of this Assembly and which could be used for or against Comandclem and the Patentees.                                                  That was why I said we should tread softly softly.                                                          We can not afford to lose this Thread at this point in time.                                                 What do you think was at the back of the mind of whoever volunteered the document to Yusuf for post on this Thread?     To assist Comandclem Patentees or to make them happy?                                                          One Mr. Yusuf did not complete posting the content of this same document in his Thread before he was "banned" on an International "DEBATE POLICY FORUM" and blocked by the US MESSAGE BOARD.                                                   This ought to have sent a wrong signal to our own Yusuf to make him think twice before posting the document to this Assembly.                                                   I would not have commented on the document at all but for his last post urging patentees not to comment on the document for now.                                             I am happy that Mr Yusuf has now realized that the purpose of sending the document to him was to cause confusion.                                                        Meanwhile, I will advise  those among us who are hypertensive to go and check their BP.                                              However, it is my candid believe that Mr  Yusuf has been, and, with a little carefulness, will be very useful to this assembly.                                                               I ADMIRE HIS ZEAL AND PATRIOTISM.                                                 ~omokemesi
