COMANDCLEM / MOBIL ROYALTY PAYMENT PROBLEM: One "Prince" offers a solution to the royalty payment problem. Reacting to the post of "Yusuf Akure" on "InfoFeeder", the only person to have commented till date, offered a solution to the payment of Comandclem royalties by Mobil which I think is worth discussing in this Assembly. In his post on 5th May, 2011, the "Prince " suggested: " ccnl and mpnu should seat on a round table for option B plan, whether to start fresh payment, while deliberation on the accrued continues". Comrades, what are your reactions to this suggestion? Should those negotiating with Mobil consider this option as a last resort? i've also being thinking along this line but i felt it might annoy some patentees,one other thing i thought of was that they might take the issue of debt payment with much more levity.

@Omekemesi. In our place, there is an adage that says that "I will rather cut my cows tail even if that is all I get, rather than losing the entire cow in a stampede". It will be a nice idea if Mobile will start payment from the now time while negotiation continues on the accrued. In that way, Mobile would have accepted responsibility! Once they pay even if for a month, they are committed. So I suggest that the negotiators should think along that line. What do you think comrades?

@ omokemesi, that will surely show that mpnu is committed in redeeming part of the public perception of the coy. But as a matter of fact, the NASS should take over this issue because prof is from nigeria which they protect their citizen's right and that will also be a kudos to them.

well its not too late. I suggested  few months ago that we need to have an if not some  elected delegate from this assembly that can be  our representative  at the top level . but it was just thrown in to the bin.  now do any body thinks that  king as d time to read our post on this assembly? since almost 6 month now he hasn't visited even  his Facebook account.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            or is it baba iyabo that we want him to read about us on this assembly?            or the last but not the least  mobil that 4get & does not remember  that they ever been to court with comandclem. Hello patentee from wat we are saying are u sure mobil even knows we ccnl are existing at all this battle is so confusing we just getting empty promises on a base of nothing why?plz explain to me why we cant run top members of ccnl here thru their contact or anyhow wat the latest on negociations are on if they truely know abt us let them start first payment or we hold a meeting of members here and go to lagos ourself to c for our selfs

I consider it premature to make any comment now especially in a situation where negotiation is at crucial and concluding stage.
I implore all esteemed COMANDCLEM NIGERIA LIMITED PATENTEES accross the globe to remain calm and wait for the outcomes of the ongoing negotiation.
For now , i do't want to talk too mush. I'm sure that MPNU will fail to evade payment of royalty. Mobil Lawyer, Mike Ozekhome will see my wrath for non compliance with codes of conducts of legal profession in Nigeria.
I will keep calm for the outcomes of the negotiation.

@umehemaka. don't get me wrong. what annoys me today is this our so call NIGERIA nothing as been done d right way. I was talking to 1 of my friend today, he resides in Canada . he refuse to be a patentee 4 d past 3 years but almost a year now I insist he most join us which he did with over a million naira.  when he called me today & ask me how far I told him he should check d latest news on liberation on line or on this patentee assembly.                 He turn around & said look U put me in to it U know I don't involve my self in all this Nigeria sh*****t. & he said if I don't have any news 4 him that means there's no news at all. now U tell me do I have any news 4 him??          is there any body we can call among us that can tell us this is exactly were we are? d answer is CAPITAL NO. why because we don't have a delegate that will go out there to represent us.

WOW, I can see people are getting tired of being patient, now comrades are lamenting, patentees are loosing hope which is understandable but i think this isn't time to loose hope, i want you to understand something, this Assembly was created not by CCNL, not even by any of CCNL officials, it was created by someone who is a patentee just like you and I
                                                   ********* which means whatever we are doing here is unaware to CCNL, we r doing it to encourage each other.

                    and on my own part, i think there is nothing else CCNL can do than to keep finding ways for justice which they keep doing , LIBERATION news paper was established to ensure that information/news about Mobil & CCNL spreads nationwide, i think the most reasonable thing to do for now is to keep praying & calm till this weekend, when will get info about the outcome of negotiation before we say anything good or bad.

Who says mobile is not going pay ? Who says we are not going to collect our royalty ? Who says we are not going to laugh last. a very wonderful greetings to all honourable members of this great assembly. it's so cool to be back after a very long sabbatical leave. i've going through the comments with some almost losing heart and their patience while some others misunderstood themselves and quarreled but have also reconciled. i also discovered that while some patentees died in this struggle (may their gentle souls rest in perfect peace with the lord, ), others however got hooked to their life partners and had children (congrats to you all). my point here is that however long this struggle might take, i am well convinced in my spirit that we shall all smile when the time is right and that mr. mobil cannot, i repeat, cannot escape the wrath of the almighty for this delay tactics they employed to discourage king uwemedimoh and millions of his supporters and patentees. meanwhile, i still stand by my proposal of a one-million-man-march to abuja if every other strategy fails to yield the required result. peace be with you all comrades.
