I wouldn't like to derail this thread by lenghty explanations but i can tell you this. . .

I was raised as a Christian and used to be an ardent bible studier/prayer warrior when i was younger. From the tender age of 15, i started questioning a lot of inconsistencies and anomalies in the bible and i got rebuked several times in bible class for asking "annoying questions" that the so called "men of god" had no answers to. Later in life in the university, i still continued asking the scripture union members(SU) and Jehovah witnesses questions and till date, NOT ONE of them has been able to answer even a single question. After graduating in 2003, i kept asking questions from several pastors from several church denominations and it's still the same answers i get e.g "Do not question the lord" OR "The ways of the lord cannot be understood". Even recently (one week ago), a leader of a group of Jehovah witnesses came into my compound to preach to me. I listened to all that he had to say and acted as if i was following through. . .then i started asking questions. I asked only 3 simple questions and he was dumbfounded. All he could tell me at the end of the day is that i've gone "too far" in reading and researching not only the bible but the origin of Christianity as we know it today. When i was a religious Christian, i didn't go to church because of earthly blessings but i yearned for a deeper understanding of what it really meant to be a Christian (tell me, how many so called Christians have that mind set?). The deeper and deeper i went, the more falsehood and lies i uncovered.

If i decide to go into deeper details, i can flood this thread with 20 pages of typing. I even opened a thread a year ago both on nairaland and another Nigerian forum called 9japals or something. Till date, NOBODY has been able to answer the questions i asked. . .NOT EVEN ONE PERSON! ! !

Let's leave it here but i can proudly tell you that ever since the veil of uncertainty and the scales of deception called religion was removed from my eyes, i am finally free.

Isn't it funny "followers" keep rationalising for their mentor? They all live in an abstract world, where he does the thinking for them. I remember when in CU he would come up stage and boast, "We don't need your school fees, We don't need you, you need us" and yet the very next session, our school fees was increased by almost 100%. Fact is I've never seen a man so full of himself and still able to command so large a following, it baffles me. His sermons are an exercise in vaingloriousness - how God blesses him, how wealthy the church is, how much respect he commands - it's painful to hear.

I want him to stop deceiving you and others. I want him to be accountable for all your donations. I want him to tell us why God told him to buy a Jet but forgot to tell him about children dying of hunger in Nigeria/Africa/ World that he can use that money to feed.

Not everybody can see obvious scamming/corruption and keep quiet about it.  If you choose to ignore, then that's your prerogative. But don't expect the sensible ones left to keep mute.

One good way to create awareness for a new product; you run a promo Its all marketing, he needs to get the school up and running as fast as possible. The promo stops as soon as the school is recognised and able to attract customers.

How do the lives of those who attend the church become more interesting? I know a number of guys who go there and whose lives are not more colourful than those of their non-Winners-chapel-going counterparts. In fact, one of them (very committed) once worked with and reported to me and I can tell you that his productivity was the lowest in the team. He DID not stand out in any way. So what the heck?

Whether you are religious or not, good things will happen to you. Regardless of whether or not you attend Winners, unpleasant things will happen to you. Why do you guys mystify these things in your lazy and intensive search for miracles and riches that do not follow logic?
