We have been granted life, that is, we are no longer separated from God and we can now begin to enjoy his acceptance and his presence. Sometimes in our efforts to lead Christain lives, we become discouraged, particularly as we struggle against the sin in us. We need to remind ourselves that thru faith and baptism we have full citizenship and rights as part of God's new people. Christ is our new ruler and we have a new life in him. We are "a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people" called to "declare the wonderful deeds to him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1 peter 2:9)

let me tell you that if you had come to say you do not want to be a catholic anymore, i would not have been satisfied if

the reasons for this action are to be found on any of the pages of this thread.

but thanks to God and Our Lady, you have been able to search your mind and taken a stand on what you believe.

most importantly, remember the words of the hymn "where charity and love abounds, there God is".

what i mean is this: as you have found out with the people of the society of St. Vincent de Paul, the greatest of all

virtues is love and they practise this in their own way (little it may be).

it is not so important to be able to quote all scriptures (i do not say this is not good o!), speak in tongues, prophesy

etc.  as to practise the virtue of Charity (love) (1st Cor. 13

Many times I have such heart-felt pity for people who reason the way your lines suggest. It is like saying if the Catholic Church had taught people to drink in the heresies of the Vatican, then people have become saints by following those same heretical teachings, yes?

This is where you guys often miss it. Rather than face the humongous issues that stare you full-face in the RCC, you often struggle to excuse them away! My one premise, simple as it has always been, yet continues to prove such a task for lay Catholic readers. Catholicism is built on Mariolatry. To remove that and seek Biblical Christianity, is to see the end of Catholcism! That is the one thing that the Vatican will never tolerate - and for that very same reason, innocent souls were murdered in their multiplied numbers for not bowing to the duplicity of the Pontificate.

How could a system that teaches and celebrates such idolatry produce "saints" when Catholics themselves cannot rise above "pray for us sinners"?!? Is it not the confession of Catholics themselves that they are not worthy to approach God in prayers until they have called upon all the host of heaven and the grave (dead saints)?

You're talking about making saints in the RCC. Good. Please next time you sit in the pew listening to the same Mariolatry and drinking it all in, reflect on how seriously all that exercise still makes you UNWORTHY - according to Catholicism! As long as you continue to see yourself unworthy and still chanting the "pray for us sinners" mantra, the more you feed the benign smile of those who are happy to keep you in such ignorance of the grace of God that has indeed set you free and made you acceptable in HIS SON (Ephesians 1:6)!!

I know - all this may sound so out of this world to you. But before you go seeking how many "saints" were produced from Roman Catholic heresies, open the Bible and prayerfully seek out God's truth for yourself. When you find it, you would not need me to testify that the things you have been reading are quite evident in themselves.

Relax. . . we're progressing instead of coming back to square one. Your brethren who have been shooting discordant and rascally replies have cooled down (at least, apart from those who are very educated and cordial, I have not received further emails from the rascal band).

I promise you - by the time they provoke the situation for it, I go post a few more samples where the POPES, some cardinals and Bishops openly said that they WORSHIP Mary!! So many people are eager to read them. . . some have said I should show a bit more understanding and NOT post them! What's there to be scared of?!?

For now, I'm staggered that NO CATHOLIC (whether by email or here on the Forum) has said anything to point me out that I was gravely mistaken about the claim I made that the catholic Church clearly has tomes of evidence for MARY-WORSHIP!! (aka MARIOLATRY  )
