Just an update on my Character. Progress is slow but steady. I had to do some major texturing on his face to enhance realism. Does he look African yet - anybody? ![]()

@kemji, wit those lips he definately looks african ![]() my own 2 cents: i kno u said u r looking to stylize ur character, but methinks his skin texture is too flat (esp from his neck downwards). if u look at d human skin u'll notice a lot of hues and variations from d original color (brown, black or woteva). adding some color variations will definately make ur character more interesting. rememba stylizing is an exageration of reality. |

@Comicpanel Seriously, is this supposed to be one of the fliers for the fair? Don't expect to attract comic enthusiasts with a drab poster like that? I don't see anything that even suggests comics, besides the name ![]() |

Re: 2d/3d Art Gallery by Kemjisuper(m): 3:05pm On Oct 04, 2009 |
@deyg Could you do it in a better resolution? The ipod seems kinda blurred, more like a badly scanned object than something you designed with vectors and all. A little something I'm working on for a client - done with POSER ![]()

Re: 2d/3d Art Gallery by melvi: 3:17pm On Oct 08, 2009 |
@shadowmay. I suggest u get Mudbox or Zbrush for sculpting and adding details to your head. With those you can get your models to look more organic and add wrinkles around the eyes, and get those rough features. You can google these softwares and find artworks done with them .They make your work pipeline much easier and faster. Goodluck!! |

Re: 2d/3d Art Gallery by Kemjisuper(m): 3:28pm On Oct 08, 2009 |
Or you can use Photoshop as an easier alternative to really give colour and style to your characters. 3d modeling may be way ahead of you for now, gradually ease into it. ![]()

@shadowmay nice start. But you still need to study how the muscles in the face flow, so you can improve your edge-flow. Goodluck. |

@Jackwriter Now this looks more interesting. It's colourful, as usually comic characters should be. Nice one |
