what i meant by unlocking to the network level is that i contacted the network owner and got a code to unlock the phone which i paid for but which didnt work. Even now i have not recovered the money i paid for the code. I will therefore apprecite any help in umlocking it otherwise it would just be used an ipod.

iPhy42, get latest Redsn0w and downgrade your bandband from 06.15 then use sn0wbreeze to update to iOS 6.1.2 you now that you still can. Forget about jailbreaking iOS 4.1 it's so old.

You have already bought Asphalt 7, you wont be asked to pay again, even on another idevices so far you use the same Apple ID.
This is a smart way to get apps when they are declared free. Just start the download and pause it immediately.

most apps can only work on ios 4.3 and above . iphone 3G can only go to ios4.2.1. so indirectly, apple is teling u to buy a newer model of iphone....
