Jose Monrinho's impending return back to Chlesea would only make David Moyes job a lot harder.cheesy
Honestly, I can't wait for the new season which promises to be so much fun. Nervous but anxious!

If the prospects that I hear he is after are anything to go by, I think he would do well. He is definitely gonna be given a free hand albeit a lot of advise which I think he needs to actually bed in.

Thiago alcantara and Fabregas would not be bad for our midfield, I just think we should keep Nani, there is an aspect to his game that gives us a positive unpredictability.

With mourinho in the mix, and City smarting over their lost title, next season would be interesting now that Fergie is gone and Arsene might attempt to try to win something.

May be Okomu oil. grin

He was bad against Ireland, but he was still better than Defoe. Walcot also doesn't know how to pick his man in the 18 box. Chamberlain and old man Lampard did well. Chamberlain did some impressive runs but he has to mature too.

I still believe Rooney will come back.

David De Gea has revealed that he used to be an outfield player before eventually settling into his role as a goalkeeper.

“As a youngster, I played as an outfield player, I was a forward and scored lots of goals but eventually settled on being a goalkeeper. I think I’ve always liked to pass the ball and dribble – in the Spain under-age teams, I used to practise with the ball at my feet.

“And, at a club like United, it’s important to be able to support the team in every way. Playing for United, one of the greatest clubs in the world, is always a source of pride to me, Every time I pull the shirt on, I’m pulling on the history of this club.” (Source: thesportreview.com)

I like Moyes. SAF left at the right time, let Moyes come in with his high paced football. His midfield play is also encouraging. Moyes style of play doesn't allow opponents to relax and have too much time on the ball. It appeals to me.

Fergie’s Finest

Sir Alex Ferguson was one of the greatest
football managers of all time. In over 26
years in charge of Manchester United, his
passion for winning and tactical flair made
them the most successful club in the Premier
League. Under his guidance, United won an
eye-watering 38 trophies, including 13 league
championships.
But who were the greatest players of the
Ferguson era?
Over 185 players debuted for United under
Ferguson and more than 200 players wore
the red jersey for Fergie. They included
legends of the modern game from David
Beckham to Ryan Giggs, from Roy Keane to
Bryan Robson, and from Eric Cantona to
Cristiano Ronaldo.
But which were the Greatest Eleven? Is Robin
Van Persie the greatest striker? Or Ruud Van
Nistelrooy? Was Paul Scholes the best player
in the heart of the midfield? Or Bryan
Robson?
In this fascinating study, Andrew Kirby
selects the ultimate ‘Team Fergie’? With
interviews from football writers and former
players, this book considers the leading
contenders for each position in Sir Alex
Ferguson’s First Eleven. It is the one book
that every Manchester United fan – and
indeed every football supporter – will want to
read.
Andrew J Kirby’s sports writing has featured
in BBC Sport magazine, and on the Radio
Five Live website. He has written for Stretty
News and Old Trafford Faithful blog sites. He
has held a Manchester United season ticket
for the entirety of the Sir Alex Ferguson reign
at Old Trafford, and regularly follows the
Reds across Europe and beyond.
He also writes award-winning crime fiction
as AJ Kirby, and has published five novels
including Sharkways and Paint This Town
Red, which was shortlisted for the Guardian’s
Not the Booker Prize 2012.

Andy Cole admits he still regrets leaving Manchester United. He spoke openly about the circumstances which prompted his departure and revealed the role Sir Alex Ferguson played in trying to keep him at United.

“When I left the club, I wanted to play more games and I saw the manager numerous times, he told me that I didn’t have to go, he didn’t want me to go, I could have stayed for as long as I could and I would get my games. But I was trying to force myself into the World Cup squad.

“In the end, he just said ‘Okay, I understand and I know what you are like, I will let you go’. The crazy thing is that he sold me for £7million, which is more than what he paid for me. He got me for £6m and sold me for £7m. So I remember that last meeting with him like it was yesterday.

“I really enjoyed my time but I left far too early. That is my only regret. I could have stayed at the football club for a lot longer and, looking back, I wish I had.” (Source: Tribal Football)

Man United fans are too fast. How can RVP be mentioned yet in an all time fist 11 team? Best 9 should be between Cole and Nistelrooy.

Anyway, just an individual opinion.

Tottenham will be offered a world record
£85million transfer fee by Real Madrid as the
Spanish giants attempt to lure Gareth Bale
away from White Hart Lane.
The astronomical fee would be almost
impossible for Spurs to refuse with Bernabeu
chief Florentino Perez pinpointing the Wales
superstar as his prime target.
Bale could be brought to Madrid to replace
Cristiano Ronaldo who has been linked with
a move back to the Barclays Premier League.
The former Manchester United star, who
could return to Old Trafford after a four-year
absence, was left out of the Real Madrid
squad on Saturday night with the La Liga
club citing a back injury.
Ronaldo's absence from Jose Mourinho’s
final match in charge before his expected
move raised question marks over his future.
Perez started his last term in charge of
Madrid by recruiting Ronaldo, Kaka and
Karim Benzema for a combined fee of
£171m.
And with Mourinho departing, Perez hopes to
soften the blow by signing Bale, who could
also be joined by wantaway Liverpool striker
Luis Suarez.
Suarez has signalled his desire to leave
Anfield, with Real prepared to meet the £40m
buy-out clause in the controversial striker’s
contract.
The Liverpool ace courted yet more
controversy today after taking a swipe at
Prime Minister David Cameron.
In response to criticism from the
Conservative leader, Suarez said: ‘David
Cameron said I wasn’t an example for the
kids or something like that. Why don’t you
worry about English citizens?
‘I have lived bad moments, and I’m a human
being, you know. I have feelings.
‘I’m angry with the English media, as they
have never valued me as a footballer.
‘The paparazzi followed me in the streets and
I couldn’t carry my daughter to the
kindergarten, or I couldn’t go to the
supermarket.
‘I tried to do my job in England. I cannot
apologise to the people in England any more.’
Florentino Perez will take charge for his
fourth term as president of Real Madrid from
next week, after the club confirmed on
Sunday that no one had come forward to
challenge him to an election.
Last year, the 66-year-old construction
magnate won the backing of members for
statute changes that make it harder for
outsiders to seize control of the world's
richest soccer club by income.
A potential presidential candidate has to have
been a club member for at least 20 years, up
from 10 years previously, and must
personally provide a bank guarantee worth
15 percent of the club's budget - some £65
million - rather than relying on any third
party.
Perez will be officially presented for another
four-year term at the helm on Tuesday.
One of the first issues he will need to
address will be to appoint a new coach after
Jose Mourinho and the club agreed a parting
of the ways, despite the Portuguese having
three years left on his contract.
Paris St Germain's Carlo Ancelotti and
departing Bayern Munich boss Jupp
Heynckes have been linked with the post in
the local media.
In an interview with local newspaper ABC on
Sunday, Perez said Real needed: "A coach
who understands them well, and that we
compliment the team with some
improvements, but not many.
'The door isn't closed for Mourinho. He
leaves saddened after struggling to
understand what the media are like here.'
Real have finished the season without a
major trophy after coming in second behind
arch-rivals Barcelona in La Liga, falling in
the semi-finals of the Champions League and
losing the King's Cup final to city neighbours
Atletico Madrid.
Perez was president between 2000 and 2006
when he was the architect of the "Galacticos"
policy that brought players such as Zinedine
Zidane and David Beckham to the Bernabeu,
before quitting mid-term.
He returned in 2009, after Ramon Calderon
had been forced to step down accused of
vote-rigging at a club general assembly.

owned by their members, alongside
Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao and Pamplona-
based Osasuna. (Reporting by Mark

One assist, one goal. You don't write off such players. They always come back when allowed to keep playing and gain fitness.

We are not selling even for one trillion euro. Madrid and co should keep their money. His influence on our team on the field of play and revenue is too enormous.
