i had my interview yesterday and the first to be given visa. I thank God for making my dream a reality.
After all d rigorous security checks especially d one u remove ur shoes and belt, infact felt like a prisoner.. Then followed by paying of visa fees at 165naira to 1 us dollar. then our credentials were sorted out. at this point let me tell us that ur success begins at dat point. plzzzzzz, neva under estimate those officers. After sorting my documents the lady there told me congratulations even before i was interviewed.

Remember good advice, preparations and Nairaland make many people with low and moderate CNs get the visas. People with higher CN should keep their fingers crossed...anything can still happen.

So everybody is waiting for May 1 means everyone will be selected? Your mind is designed to run away from the truth.Months left are July,August and September.And if more people before people with higher CNs are scheduled, interviewed and given visas, KCC will not make other remaining persons CURRENT. If there are no more visas to give out that means no more Interviews and DV 2014 selectees will come on board from October.That is why people with higher CNs are encouraged to enter the next Lottery while hoping for the best outcome.

This happened to my friend and he's still doing well here in Nigeria.Na waoh for una!

She will wait for sometimes before joining. That is what make people apply as a couple. I believe PRs still bring in their spouses but don't know the years involved. Let him go in and seek the help and acknowledge of an immigration attorney. Or you research it.

It's not by cursing or denial.Some people with open mind will soon weigh in and you get the rules.People with higher CNs most often keep their fingers crossed hoping lower CNs people fail to claim their visas or US authority makes some adjustments in visa allocations. Just don't curse! You need to start getting americanised by being real and know there is a rule.

Up to 6000 Nigerians were selected and upto 3,500 visas will be given. Do the math! You don't get current and scheduled when people with low CNs have shown interest in pursuing their cases. Take it easy and I know you should have known this.

It is because people with low CNs all of a sudden showed interests and KCC will schedule them first.That is why 17000 were capped to be current for May but none or most didn't get scheduled.So it is clearing the backlog!It is awful but hang on there.
