BlackPikiN:

lol

That song fit those agbero for park CMS, Mile2 wey dey shout agege to ikeja!!!! Oyato!!!

I mean WTF?

Dbanj fall my hand big timeee..

I dont get u....Mind u, until those boys at CMS and Mile12 munch your song...u've got alot of work to do. Ask Olamide, 9ce and Dagrin (RIP). Even Wizkid.

Dbanj has done a great job.

Truthfully, I see Don J sending Dbanj a Weldone text. And where has Don J been? Been absent from twitter since the Oyato trend. Lol....unlike him.

They might just settle this beef earlier than u think..cos Don J can never get a Dbanj in this Naija...

Listening to the song and I can't see the reason for the negative waves goin around.well am not surprised..nigerians have a cynical tendency to gleefully anticipate the decline of succeeding artistes..

well i have to commend him for trying to infuse, techno beats with fuji and mixing it with his harmonica. but the production still sounds a little unfinished and the lyrics are weak as usual, the chrous should have been done by dbanj alone, personalising the lyrics .
i would rate the production a 8/10 and the song itself a 4/10.

it is a great error to try to float your career on a diss track. diss tracks dont do that well especially when everyone knows who you are talking to, except you have the intelligence of making it sound like a motivational song and not sounding cocky on it.

Epic fail...

I repeat epic fail...

How will a song that I can barely stand the first 30 secs grow on me... This is so not it and if this sng is a sign of things to come, then Dbanj had better go and learn vulcanising..

Don jazzy will be laughing his arse off..

Like someone twitted, Dbanj should forget Oyato and take banana.. Lol

The first constructive criticism I've read so far. Better than those shouting WACK WACK WACK....with their headphones blasting Oyato.

jackbauersballs: Why are people just banging on about 'Haters'?

Taste in Music is a personal preference no?

If I feel Dbanj messed up on the track(Which he did by the way), can I not express such an opinion without fear of being Labeled a Hater(Which I'm not)?

I listen to a lot of heavy metal, should I call you a hater If you don't like it?

And for f**cksake shymmex, why tribalize music preference again?

I listen to hard rock and heavy metals a lot, what artistes / band are your favourite?

My 12 yrs old brother is aspiring to be an artist. Eventhough i told him i don't like the some of his songs, after listening to oyato, i'll have to give him a pat on the back for doing better than dbanj in this song. U let me down d,banj. I tried listening to it twice just to see if i wld like it, unlike oliver twist that stuck the very first time.

D'banj, do not despise ur days of humble beginning. U better reconcile with Don J or better still beg for his forgiveness, and it shall be well with u. Else u will continue to stutter just as u hv started with this track called 'oyato' ooo. Just my piece of advise from experience ooo

i am still yet to find what is wrong with the 'oyato' song. woke up this morning to see twitter full of diss for dbanj. M guessin the reason pipl r mad at the song is jus becux dey r used to dbanj doin party/club-bangers, its hard for them to except dis new urban-fela-typo-music he jus did.

I hate words like this...Well, Dbanj now owns Dbanj Records and he already signed J sleek. FYI.

If Don J and Dbanj had not gone their separate ways..we wouldnt have had respect for this young guy.

Alot of critics who can't decipher creativity. Obviously the song was meant to signal '' A New dawn'' ''A New beginning for Dbanj''. The concept, the intro, the percussion, the interlude is great. The choice of instrumentals was perfect with dbanj bringing back his Amonica(mouth Organ) into play. No Autone. Infact, kudo's to JSLEEK( The producer of 2baba Implication) he's a great guy. Nice delivery by my brother from another mother.. On a closing note, as an Artiste, to make a song is easy, to make a hit song is not a child's play(alot is required).. I can proclaim pure water to be champagne so far i market it as champagne.

Cheers

Not a bad song... Though quite short... 6.5/10
Re: D'banj's Oyato: Hit Or Miss? by CyberG: 11:34pm On Jul 15, 2012
Why is it that 99% of posters who claim the song is bad are from the usual empty chest beating tribe of Nigeria and immediately say he needs Don jazzy? If you really don't like the song, stay far away from it! If two adults part ways for whatever reason, is it by force to be together that you lot cannot move on? Or if it really pains you so much, team up whatever producer you like and make better music for all of us to see! #justsaying#

Ayox2003 take am easy sha,no go wound yourself because of Skibanj and him Oyato o.

Btw, the truth about OYATO being RUBBISH does not cancel the FACT that MAVIN Record's SOLAR PLEXUS STUP1D song is more RUBBISHER than Skibanj's new single IMO(yes na me talk am,its more rubbisher)cheesy .

Little wonder they were saying "they must be stup1d"

They really are stup1d for doing such an annoyingly stup1d song.undecided

I don talk my own.

Somuch to say about Dbanj...

Hmmm...but really this track will get Mavin to sit down and prove their real stuff. Cos its just a single and almost all music lovers have downloaded it.

Its important to note that this is not a complete track...the complete track would be on his LP. Meanwhile, he has succeeded in making an impression even at this time.

Anyways, time will tell.

I dey laugh. The way ladies of all ethnic groups and class dislike D'Banj, I think he requires a miracle to make it in Nigeria again. Women are the secret behind hits both in the club and home. I think Don Jazzy won the sympathy of the ladies who believe D'banj betrayed Jazzy.

Dbanj is a musician by calling. Whatever he sings, it will sell, no matter what. He's a true brand. If the truth be told about producers.. Donjazzy aint really good in producing other genres of music. Infact, he doesn't mix his songs properly. Tymix is still the best in Naija today. Na just Dbanj sell don jazzy to naija people.
