Hi bro, congratulations on ur visa n God given opportunity to start life in a land where dreams come true. I av two advises for u.
1. Buy a six months return ticket land in US aclamartiize, get ur green card SSN n work making some money n keep an eye on happenings here so that if ASSU eventually calls of strike u are back to complete ur program which I believe will be over in six months. This so that the years u spent on the course u are will not be wasted as ur moving ur studies to continue in US will not begin immediately, it cost money n time ( hope am making sense).

2. If u are to transfer ur schooling to US u will need to av ur transcript assessed or evaluated by an organization with the accronym called WES (google WES.com n u will be instructed on how to go about this) this org will assess ur transcript and value it in comparison to the educational system in US n will send it to any institution or organisation u want it sent at a cost. Note once u av paid for the initial transcript valuation u can ask them anytime to sent ur evaluated transcript anytime to any institution or organization. I advise u and every other person that are graduastes to get n send their transcripts to these organisation or other recognize ones b4 leaving as getting ur transcript from any Nigerian institution when u are not in the country is like the proverbial passing of a camel through the eye of d needle. I wi good luck n divine favor in what ever decision u take, stay blessed.

The problem was that I booked through their call centre because the intended date of travel was less than a week. They told me how much to pay in naira and when I got to the bank, I was asked to state the amount I want to pay in dollars. I called their office again and was told the amount so the bank calculated it using the exchange rate for that day. That was how I got to pay less.
A day later we got a call informing us of the disparity. We went and paid.
Like I said earlier, call them and get the amount you have yo balance.
