I don't know about him being a quack because I don't have any experience with him, but I am aware he is a consultant gynaecologist with OAUtHC, but has his own private practice.

The other doc is affiliated to lautech.

y sister inlaw has found a cheaper option closer to her house for me @ Christus St Catherine Katy Hospital

Doctor's Cost - $2000 for womanly delivery (includes all visits, delivery, one office based Ultra sound, and blood work).
C-Section - Additonal $500

Hospital Cost - $2600 for womanly delivery (includes mum, and well baby for up to 48 hrs after delivery). Additional days will be charged at $1500 per day.
C-Section - $4150 (includes mum, and well baby for up to 72 hrs after delivery). Additional days will be charged at $1500 per day.

Epidural (optional ) - $1500

So total is $4,600 without epidural and $6,100 with epidural.

At Uchetobi or any1 at Houston, just heard that Christus ST Catherine is not offering maternity services, can anyone confirm that?

@ Tzetzefly and all. Please I would like to know if the United states Embassy accepts scanned letter of invitation and tax clearance. The one sent earlier dissapeared in transit and the invitee has sent a clean scanned 1. Is that acceptable?

Hello @Mousepad I see you mentioned birth center now. If you don't mind my asking what's the name of the birth center you are using and what are their charges like?

Is this your first baby?

@ Surety her name is Jaymee Boughton (In bloom midwifery) she is in pearland. But I think she only does home birth. Let me know how it goes.
Travel / Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedure? by bolanleife(f): 7:36pm On Sep 03, 2013
@ SUrety you should check the association of Texas midwives website. WesthoustonbirthCentre would charge you around 5grand.
Is this your first baby?
I am aware of a woman who would accept less than 2grand @28 months but I am not sure abt her experience. There are abt 6 birth centers in Hosuton and they charge between 3K5 - 6K (the very popular 1ce). You just need to be friendly with google.Home birth is also an option. All the very best.

Hello all, I have really found this forum very educative. I intend to have my baby in the U.S. Never been there before. My husband already has a 2 year visa which expired sometimes last month. we intend to apply together very soon. My questions are

1) Would it be a good idea to apply together or individually (because i already have a slight budge)
2) Does my husband previous visa increases my chances of getting the visa or not

Honest responses would be very much appreciated.
I have been to the U.K 3ce.
