We are Christians because we belong to another kingdom. We are new creation. We are not Nigerians, Americans, Europeans etc in Christ - We are Christians. There is no single scripture in the Bible that says we must compare ourselves with the world, unsaved, other religions and nations.

See, man in error have always tried to 'help' God, make things more organised than what God has said instead of taking Him at His word. They want to make things look nice (like Cain's alter).

Apart from the medical explanations given for healings and 'healings' at CE HS, God can heal through Pastor Chris but that does not mean the man is is right biblicaly. In fact he preaches against the Bible. Am surprised by pple referring to him as a 'prophet'.

There is also a spiritual dimension to the happenings at the HS. Remember when Jesus Christ send the 12 - Matthew 10:8, he gave them power do do all that he listed AND JUDAS ISCARIOT WAS AMONG THEM (Remember money and miracles??).

I am not saying he is a morden Judas Iscariot but his teaching IS in error and the results are such as we see and are testified now

In these last days, the True Vine and the false vine will be so close as to deceive the elect if it were possible.

About his death, God NEVER forgets His prophets. His prophets are people who are also subject to the same temptations and trials as we are. He went through it God allowing it. He had finished his mission for which God had sent him ( The 7 seals in the book of Revelation and the seven church ages). What would you say of John the baptist who was beheaded when God was walking the Earth in human form yet Jesus says there was no prophet greater than John. We need revelation knowledge on how God works with his servants. What of the apostles Paul, Peter, John- How did they die?

Could I please request madam tpia to read 2 more verses after 1 Cor. 14:34-35 i.e 36 and 37? Ascribing this to Paul shows that you do not take the Bible as God's word though you may say you do. Paul is even saying that it was not his but God's commandment. He then goes to give a simple test of spirituality. I think its very clear.

I do not doubt that there are/may be far many women who can preach better than men BUT the word of God forbids it. As you asked earlier on, if a woman goes on to preach knowing she ought not to do so, she is destined to perdition no matter how many people get saved or how many miracles were perfomed. God honors HIS WORD. He said 'NO' my sister.

Anything against the word of God is antichrist and the spirit that raises a woman to the pulpit to preach is a rebellious and antichrist spirit. Sorry it might sound rough but thats what is.

The Holy Spirit through the scribes wrote the word. Tell me how did Moses know what happened in the garden of Eden when he wrote Genesis? It only shows it was God. He authored it through the prophets.

IMHO I think those who would want to seperate the Word as Paul's or Jesus' are only trying to find some justification for certain doctrines they want to hold eg women preachers, dress codes, tongues, baptism of the Holy Ghost etc. To a genuine child of God, we read Paul's letters as the WORD OF GOD.

The Bible is the word of God. Those who wrote were only scribes. The author is Christ. Jesus Christ was and is the word thats why He never wrote anything when He was here in human form because He was The Word. What Paul wrote is what God was saying, if you believe the Bible to be the word of God. Why names and personal pronouns by the scribes, only requires revelation to understand it. Go beyond the letters. Without the Holy Spirit in you, you can never understand the Word.

We dont explain the Biible by theology, or seminary education. Its by faith. Believe everything that the Word says and there will be absolutely no contradiction whatsover.The Pharisees because of their education missed Him by a million miles when Isaiah 53 stood in front of them.

Believe from the heart. Its by faith.

When you accept the word, there is no Paul, John, Peter, Moses etc. It becomes the Bible the Word of God.

If you do not accept the Bible to be His word, then thats another story. You can get PHD, DDLDs, QQLLLQQQDs and you will be confused even more.

To all, I think when someone is SAVED, certain things become your nature and they cannot even be questioned. For a really saved person to question tithes, giving, manners, dress and the way you relate and communicate with others etc I think we should revisit the foundation again i.e salvation. There are many that believe they are saved simply because they repeated a prayer after a pastor and never had any conviction and repentance being ministered to their hearts by the Holy Spirit. To some it was just 'if you have never done it, come up foward now, ' Maybe its another thread altogether.

I thought it was to be seen in the fruit and not so much in the sign coz the devil can perfom signs but can't have the fruit of the Spirit. Satan can NEVER love. Initializing the Holy Spirit baptism by a sign can be dangerous. We receive Him by faith. He can give or not give the tongues but that does not mean He is not there. But when He is there, the fruit WILL be there. If Gal 5:22,23 are there, He is there.
I know of pple who speak in tongues and live in adultery, lies, hatred and deceit.
