If any of them is interested, a financial investment organisation I know is currently recruiting 'Personal Investment Executives' for Abuja and Lagos offices.

They could send their CVs to me at ehis.ubebe@realtypointltd.com.

Nairaland / General / Soldeirs, FRSC, VIO Etc Slash Tyres Of Motorist In Abuja. by bsparks: 12:59pm On Jul 09, 2014
Less than an hour ago a combined team of soldiers, FRSC, VIO, NSCDC, NPF officers swarm on Kam Salem St, Area 10, Garki, Abuja and slashed two tyres each of every vehicle (about 100) that was parked on the street. Reports have it that they moved on to other areas in Garki. The most frustrating part of this is that no notice was given neither was there any prior order as to the effect that cars were not to be parked along the street.
One might be tempted to think maybe the cars were improperly parked; far from it. The cars were neatly parked within the marked bays, that were until the court order banning them, used by the 'park and pay' people to extort money from motorists. Is there a conspiracy here I wonder.
Attached are pictures I took.

I'm sure the Protocol Team and Greeters must have done a double - take on this one; VIPs are usually acknowledged in COZA.
Nairaland / General / Man Shot Dead For Shouting "Allahu Akbar" by bsparks: 10:56am On Jun 21, 2013
I guess the phrase 'think before you speak' took another dimension this morning. A Jewish Israeli man was shot dead by a security officer at Jerusalem's Western Wall after he shouted Allahu Akbar (God is the greatest) near the public toilet, according to reports.

The man, 45, was mistaken for a Palestinian terrorist by the guard, according to police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.

"The fact he shouted Allahu Akbar, seems to be why the security guard drew his weapon and fired a number of shots at him," he said.

The guard "fired a number of shots" according to reports. After the shooting, paramedics rushed to the scene but were unable to resuscitate the victim.

Properties / Re: How To Make Sure Money You Send From Abroad To Buy A Land Doesn't Get Embezzled by bsparks: 2:13pm On May 18, 2013
Personally from experience I think it's safest to deal with registered corporate organisations that are in the business of real estate. They have a name to protect so they wouldn't won't to get into any under - handed deals. Most have websites with details of their current offerings. If you'd like some links send me an email via tujays40@hotmail.com (don't want to be banned so can't post here). Cheers

FYI the Emir of Anka is a graduate, who served in Lagos state long before you were probably born. I know, because I met him in 2004 when I was serving in Zamfara. A bit of an eccentric chap but DEFINITELY no illiterate. . . .you need to get out more bro embarassed

A mild drama ensued this morning in the complex where my office is located. A young sales girl in a recharge card distributor's office, lost about N1.2 million worth of recharge cards to a theif. As the story goes (na tell, they tell me o wink), she was attending to the 'customer' when her boss called her; b4 she could say "ye-pah" the guy was gone with the recharge cards. Now everybody wants 2 know what her boss will do; some say he'll lock her up (how that will generate N1.2 mill, I never know angry), others say he'll make her work - off the money (she earns like 25k per month, so 1.2 M/25k = . . . .slavery? undecided). If na me (correct person whey I be grin), I'll hug her and tell her it's ok then gather everybody around, hold hands, light candles and sing 'kumbaya'. . . .yeah rite grin. So if na u, wetin u go do the girl?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Who Should Be The Next Arsenal Captain? by bsparks: 5:28pm On Aug 19, 2012
ha, ha, ha very funny, it is to laugh. Anyways u have a right to ur opinion. So wot's ur reason?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Who Should Be The Next Arsenal Captain? by bsparks: 12:21pm On Aug 16, 2012
What's with Arsenal and the selling of the team's captain? Arsenal has sold off their last 4 captains in the past 7 years (Viera, Henry, Fabregas, Van Persie).
Whether this is one of the reasons for the team's 'trophy - lessness' is yet to be determined. I would like to know however, who in your opinion should be made the new captain to lead them in the coming season. Arsenal for life y'all. grin
Food / Re: Why "Hungry Man" On Indomie Pack? by bsparks: 11:31am On Aug 07, 2012
TrustZee: Its name is quite ok...but dat size can't fill ma stomach yet..lol
My point exactly. If I'm not mistaken, the present 'hungry man' size is what the then 'regular' used to be. I remember back in the day, like 2 - 3 packs of the then regular would suffice for my whole family.
If the Indomie people planned this 'downsizing' in advance then they've pulled off some kind of 'coup de gras'

Bros COZA has a mandate 2 'takeover'- in politics, business, media, sports, corporate world, internet etc - so as we say in COZA "keep breathing"; u're gonna see more.

Politics / Re: Re: Thisday Bombings - Is GEJ Back In Nigeria? by bsparks: 4:08pm On Apr 27, 2012
rimzo: Bombing is not new thing again in Nigeria so our careless leaders will never turn serious attention to it. I always feel bad getting to realize I am a Nigerian.
Maybe if we had true democracy and we actually decided who our leaders wld be, I think they'd care more bout public opinion
Politics / Re: Thisday Bombings - Is GEJ Back In Nigeria? by bsparks: 10:14am On Apr 27, 2012
After the news of the Thisday Newspapers' bombings broke out, GEJ promptly issued a statement condeming the act while in Cote D'voire for an ECOWAS meeting, where one of the issues being discussed is how to solve the insecurity in certain neighbouring countries (makes u kinda wanna smile; don't it?). I'm just thinking out loud but if he is not back in the country by now, aren't his priorities misplaced?
Tony Blair in 2005 flew back home immediately, from a G8 meeting, after the London bombings. Like I said, thinking out loud.
