Romance / Re: The Worst Statement You Ever Heard. by chiama1: 2:58pm On Aug 31, 2012
While in Jamb class, the literature teacher said to a girl that was always sitting in the front seat..."why are you even always sitting here? it is not your kind of face that one should see as one steps into the class or while teaching, please next time, take a seat at the back...you are not fine atall. i keep seeing your face everytime i turn and i dont like that.

To say we were all shocked and embarrassed is an understatement. The poor girl wept so much that day.

The painful part was that this came from a man that was VERY very ugly. I will never forget that incident.

Career / Re: What Do U Dislike About Your Organization. by chiama1: 4:32pm On Jul 03, 2012
Mine is headed by a bunch of managers that stab eachother at the back, management staff are changed every now and then because someone has gone and gossipped to the chairman who will foolishly believe the stories and remove the object of gossip.

If you are not the type that lick their bootss, nothing for you, you could come to work one day and hear you have been sacked.

the ogas are all sleeping with the young girls in the office, its like a copmetition and so the empty-brain girls carry about as if they are untouchable, but ofcourse, they end up being kicked out once a new babe starts warming the oga's bed.

sad
Romance / Re: My Love Left Me For Someone I Least Expected by chiama1: 4:02pm On Jul 02, 2012
As much as i feel for this guy, i will not want to blame the girl completely. i once knew a guy that tot he could win a woman by spending money for her and being at the beck & call of her and her family. His own nice-bobo was mumuish, believe me, it irritated to everybody that was his friend. we all complained and advised him but he woldnt change, trust babes, they treated him like the dirtiest rag on earth. The first thing he wants to know about her when he meets a babe is her birthday and then he goes buying very expensive gifts for her, this guy could end up buying 3-4 different expensive gifts at once (i am not exaggerating here), and then he turns himself to boy-boy for her whole family. He's very good with his hands, can fix about anything....and so he becomes their electrician, mechanic...you name it...now tell me, what girl will be proud of such a man.

My dear poster, be a man, let a woman love you for YOU (A Man she would want to be proud of and be with) before u spend your dime on her, otherwise, just like this girl, they will keep dumping you for more confident men. you cant buy love...keep that in mind.

Back to my goody-goody friend, i have known him for more than 12years, and he is still not able to holddown a girl, its sad! am sure you do not want to be like that.

Wipe your tear, be thankfull you are learning this fast, work on yourself and a girl that will appreciate you will stay with you.

Goodluck.

Am not sure this madam wants to listen to the advise you guys are giving her her.

I went thru the same thing at your age, the guy was the age your guy is today, people advised me against it but i wouldnt listen, until he dumped me like a hot potatoe, i thought i would die but today, i am most grateful to God that that relationship didnt work, i would have been miserable all my life, because all i did was try to please him.

I am married today to one of the most wonderful men, and he is my age mate.

Shut-up people, why is it that the only thing you can see here are the highlighted names and not the pain these kids are going through, these poor kids lost their parents in a twinkle of an eye, believe it or not, nobody can replace them. you all stop these unnecessary grammar speaking and try to feel what these children are feeling now...their parents are gone...gone...isnt that painful enough. Lets spend our energy praying for them instead...please!
Politics / Re: Why I Renamed UNILAG Moshood Abiola University - Jonathan by chiama1: 12:57pm On May 31, 2012
Kobo,
Whatever your motives are, you have asked this same question a dozen times, in other threads and as a four-time graduate of Unilag (Ist Degree, Two Masters and an MBA), l think l am in a position to respond to your question.
First, let me point out that its worthy of note that you will NOT FIND amongst those who support this name change, A GRADUATE OF UNILAG! Not a single one!! [/color

Only "two" sets of people support this stewpidity:
1.) MKO's immediate family (who see it as a personal triumph!) and
2.) those who see it as an opportunity to rubbish the legacy of Abiola, (especially "non-Yorubas", knowing fully-well that such renaming does neither justice to Unilag nor to Abiola himself

[color=#000099]It does not "properly represent MKO and what he stands for and neither does it "add value" to the institution.
Nothing to do with "how loved or rejected" MKO Abiola was, as mischeif makers want to paint it.
Winning a national election by a land slide, even in Bashir Tofa's (his opponent) home town has proved beyond doubt, how much Nigerians rate MKO Abiola.

Questions are: What would such "name change", contribute to "Unilag's Brand", "Unilag's Legacy", Unilag's "World-wide perception" and to Abiola himself? Nothing.
It does not matter whether it is Abiola, Awolowo or any Nigerian for that matter.
No name is better for Unilag, than UNILAG......it does not matter where the name comes from!

The question of "renaming" even goes deeper than the "personality of MKO" and the ephemerally-mundane issue of whether Abiola warrants/deserves to be named after Unilag.
It begs the question as to why prospective students, "choose UNILAG as an institution", when its cut-off mark for some courses are as high as 300/400 in Jamb? Why do graduates of other institutions decide that they have to (or need to) have a Unilag Certificate, over their previous certs?
