Confirmed salary of officer 2 is 90K/month. Then there are other allowances at the end of the year. The TCN staff that did our documentation told us.

aryzgreat: Counting d days, my mind is telling me dis job wil be a hot cake in d nearest future, former NNPC MD has just been appointed to head TCN. This is a gud news. I believe d new head wil look into our remuneration and make it be like NNPC.

Hapi new year great Engrs.

Stop dreaming. Nigeian Goverment is almost broke. They are cutting expenses not splashing money. Even if we think TCN may be a revenue generating agency, its hardly possible for us tto earn like NNPC. Let's face reality.

Guysz, I thought we missed the NAPTIN october training because we didn't do TCN documentation. So how can we start this orientation without documentation. Or does that mean documentation is before the 6th?!

Thank you @blessmy for the vounteer to seek updates for us. Now that we have known this new developement, its worth to ask one thing; will they pay us from september that we collected or letters? If Yes, then the wait isn't much of a worry. But if not, then they have not done justice to people that had to quit paying jobs. Please volunteer to ask for us. Thanks

Unless if they shifted it, the date is 21st October from the admission letter and even online at naptin website.

wallex1983:

See the way you guys are just attacking this guy. I see nothing wrong in what Ogunwale has said. On the contrary, I see anxiety in the writings of his critics. You can't start Naptin training without your documentation with TCN. And my sincere advice: you better take your mind off 21st for Naptin. You will still do the training, but 2 start it on the 21st, a miracle will have to happen. I'm not out 2set out issues for debate but if I talk here as a person who just concluded †ђξ 1 year Naptin training and as a potential TCN appointee, its possible I knw what I'm talking abt. Only time will tell, and I sincerely pray I am grossly wrong.

Doing NAPTIN programme is not a qualification to rule out our call up before 21st . TCN board knows what's happening, no one else should start making us scared. Let's keep positive hope no matter what any self-acclaimed expert says.

ogunwale01: eeeyah! just heard dis frm som1. Fed govt don come again o, after announcing they've recruited 522 young Engineers. My advice is dat u guys shld stick 2 ur present jobs, and 4 dose dt dont av any, try 2 look 4 one cos they might decide 2 reduce d nomba of Engineers 2 be employed. Fed govt is broke!

We should disregard this kind of demoralizing comment. Naptin starts by 21st and we hope to be recalled before then. No one knows what's happening but we should keep good hope. No one should come and start killing our morale. And TCN has already given us letters, if they keep us for 3 months , they must pay us everything when they recall us.
Please NO ONE SHOULD WORRY!

ozed007: NERC ENTRY LEVEL SALARY IS

BASIC: N98k
YEARLY UPFRONT: N980k

NOT AS FANTASTIC AS YOU THINK!!!

That's about the range she tld me. But she was made to believe you'll earn up to 6 million annually (like NCC) at NERC . That's the impression I used to get about NERC too until yesterday.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NERC Recruitment: What's the update? by cyraxjay: 10:57am On Sep 30, 2013
Yeah, she is entry level. What she is saying is the place isn't as heavenly as people hype it to be.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NERC Recruitment: What's the update? by cyraxjay: 7:33am On Sep 30, 2013
I met a friend yesterday. He said his girlfriend works at NERC currently. She said their monthly package is merely about 100K. She is regretting choosing NERC over CBN . She chose NERC because of the hype that NERC is a dream place and now she discovers the opposite.

It won't be good if the trend ends now. Its good to stick together. I mean, no one still knows where we'll be doing the traning. NAPTIN has various Training centers acrros Nigeria.

Then eventually we'll like to have information about posting after training. This trend has one more year to live (at least). Did I hear AMEN?!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Transmission company of Nigeria (TCN). by cyraxjay: 10:24pm On Sep 16, 2013
Guys, hope we've all applied for NAPTIN. So what's next. Any info on where we'll be posted ?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Transmission company of Nigeria (TCN). by cyraxjay: 5:44pm On Sep 16, 2013
Guys , do not be discourgaed by what you see on the letter. I collected mine today. True, on the letter its 37,000 but I have it from reliable source that the minimum is 100 thousand monthly for officer II.
