Politics / Re: 'Return Home', Fashola Charges Nigerians In Diaspora by doe82: 9:24pm On Aug 21, 2008
AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT ONCE SAID", tHJINK NOT WHAT AMERICA WILL DO FOR U,BUT THINK ABOUT WHAT U LL DO 4 AMERICA"
THAT SHOULD BE OUR ATTITUDE.I BELIEVE NIGERIA CAN ONLY BE MADE BETTER BY NIGERIANS AND WE CAN NOT IMPACT THE MUCH NEEDED CHANGE FROM D"WEST" IN OVER QUEST FOR SAFE HAVENS.AMERICANS INITIATED THE CHANGE THAT TRANSFORMED AMERICA AND SO IS EVERY OTHER ADVANCED COUNTRY OF THE WORLD.

our generation need a change of attitude and a complete reorientation!!some of us know that their are more upportuinities in developing countries than there is in deveoped countries
onyinye2:

I mean seriously what good would it be to bring us all back to Nigeria? Will things magically change?
who ll change the government
onyinye2:

Will there be jobs for us? Will we be paid for our jobs? Will there be a place to live? Can you answer any of these honestly?

Honestly i really mean every word of what i said about reorientation,In Nigeria progressive youths thing of creating jobs!!
The Governor is in deed tellling us the truth

The question of dominion doesnt even come in here!
nobobdy marries anybody to dominatehim/her
marriage is all about compromise, mutual respect and understanding there is no hard and fast formular"50/50,70/30,10/90"noo it doesnt work like that!u most know your strong points and compesate for each others weakness.

Romance / Re: Re; Why Should I Get Married? by doe82: 7:58am On Jul 29, 2008
@Okija
I feel deeply for 4.No doubt the fundamental and values of marriage have been eaten deep by the monster of divorce. This is caused by the fast and negatively impacting effects of civilization and poverty. Why would a woman want to marry just to part with a 50% of her "huzzys" whatever and mortgage the life of her children to unhappiness and bitterness.

I think you really have to get the fundamentals right,we are Africans and we ve our marriage values.Once u build a marriage on the right foundation,it ll sure last ur lifetime.I ve seen more marriages work in my life time that i ve seen them fail.get the basics right and u ll live in paradise on earth.
marriage is fun!

@ topic
Come to think of it, the term "broken home" can be very disheartening for children to hear. It has a very nagative stigma and they know they're looked down on at times and automatically seen as dysfunctional and problematic, so they feel ashamed and negative emotions arise from that so I'd say it's both internal and external factors from the home and outside world.

THATS WHY EVERY SINGLE ONE OWE IT A DUTY TO THEIR CHILDREN UNBORN TO MAKE THE RIGHT MARRIAGE DECISIONS TO SAVE THE INNOCENT KIDS THE STIGMA AND THE MENTAL TORTURE THAT GOES WITH THIS KIND OF SITUATION
