TCD: hmm, not a twitter user but there's this twitter app called blackbird on playbook. Looked decent when I tried it, prolly better than ubersocial.
you could also try blaq, lemma or tweetdeck. Blaq is the one I use the most tho.

Hello everyone, my blackberry bridge sometimes disconnects while am using it. I just wanted to ask if anyone is experiencing the same problem
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 9:32am On Aug 10, 2012
TCD: Sorry my brother, I know how you feel. Its frustrating. Luckily Blackberry is doing away with this compulsory update with the new OS2.1.

Like spoilerx has adviced above try another network, but this one MTN don increase their 3Gb to 7K, maybe looking to airtel and others, with good 3G service in your area will be best.

Btw, airtel 1200 BIS can be used as Mobile hotspot, but they only give 1GB. Once used it for my OS reload.
i updated mine with the 1gb plan for 3500 from MTN, maybe you should try that and it didn't take up to an hour.

Lexusgs430:

No back- up required. But no physical change can be noted, there is also rumour of excessive battery drain from update. What we need from RIM, is the 2.1 update. Not this rubbish maintenance update!!!
yeah I read about the problem with the battery on crackberry forum, I just hope they fix it b4 releasing 2.1.
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 7:22pm On Aug 06, 2012
Good evening guys, if I want to upgrade to the new os that was just released do I need to do any backup and how would I go about that?

TCD: " no sharable device", "sharing mode", these are all strange to me. There is nothing like these in my connectify even when I have nothing. Wonder which you're using. There's a link to the cracked version of connectify I posted here sometime ago. Download that instead.
let me go search for that one. Thanks
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 1:11pm On Aug 05, 2012
TCD: dont understand this. There is no place in connectify where you select "device".
Sorry, I meant to select device to share over. Its under advanced settings and its currently showing no sharable device present, while the sharing mode is just empty. What can I do about this please?
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 8:48am On Aug 05, 2012
I've also tried using virtual router manage but it won't connect because I can't fill in the space for shared connection. Please how can I do this?

TCD: i have never experienced this before, don't get what could be wrong. Have you tried a hard reset? Since reloading the OS worked last time give it a try again.
is there any other applications that can I can use in place of the file and folders, couldn't find the new version to sideload.
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 9:15am On Jul 26, 2012
TCD: no i dont. The link i had expired weeks ago. Try searching for it on google.
alright, thanks alot
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 8:50pm On Jul 25, 2012
TCD: not sure why you're having that issue, if you have ruled out inadequate memory issues as the cause, then maybe you should download the latest version 4.1.2 as that has better bridge support.
please do you have a link i could use in downloading that, cos I got this one from the link you posted.
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 7:52pm On Jul 25, 2012
@TCD, I sideloaded that files and folder app on my playbook, but have been tryng to transfer a file from my playbook to my blackberry, when I cut or copy from the pb and paste on my phone it shows an error message(error #0 or #3000). The message doesn't come up if am transfering from my phone to the pb tho, please what can I do?
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 12:15pm On Jul 20, 2012
TCD: I meant blackberry phone not tablet. Transfer the file to your phone then rename it with the bb file manager. If you want to be able to do same on your tablet, download and sideload the App files and folders.
thanks
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 10:46pm On Jul 19, 2012
TCD: rename the 9mm from .zip to .bar. Do that with the file manager on your blackberry, not windows explorer.
can't find any ohter files on my filenmanager except from music, videos, pictures and documents. How do I then go about renaming it.
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 1:02pm On Jul 19, 2012
TCD: if you downloaded the version 2 from the specific link i gave for 9mm, you shouldnt have this problem. Its the version 1 that has an auto save bug.
I'll download that one now, thanks.

Lexusgs430:

I use a screen protector on my pb, it generally protects the screen from scratches and grazes. The protector does not affect the sensitivity of the screen.
thanks, will be getting one then.

Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 9:51am On Jul 16, 2012

TCD: not normal, restart ur laptop after installing do JRE. Things to check, make sure devt mode is enabled and the IP you see in the devt mode page corresponds with the IP displayed on ddpb. And ofcourse your password should be entered correctly.
It has worked, thanks a lot. The link u posted to get games is not working, can we get another one please.
Phones / Re: Blackberry Playbook: Anyone? by efewhoa: 4:30pm On Jul 13, 2012
TCD: you're supposed to download the latest Java runtime environment (JRE) and install for ddpb to work. I stated it there. Did you download it?
yeah I have done that, waiting for the DDPB to connect, its been tryng to connect for over 15mins now is that normal?
