Thanks for remembering me. My brother I'll give you full details about the Irib later. There is confusion in my head for now, lol. This Irib signal is behaving in a funny way. May be the signal quality has reduced in Ghana. Because @ first I was hitting higher % with smaller dishes. Now with 1.8m dish, I can't even get 70%. The signal is behaving tonight. Flashes Green & Red. So let me take my time and track it well tomorrow morning. Surely I'll give you the full details tomorrow. Gud nyt!
kd10: @ GH-One am happy for you paah.its been a long time you have not posted over here, how was your Exams? pls what is your % on (4055v27500)Jsc sports on the same SAT?waiting for reply thanks & good evening to the Gurus, Odilibe, Obnelly,Olenyi & the rest.

Surprisingly, I used my 4669XII decoder and couldn't hit green on Irib. But when I replaced with 4922A,the green came.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by GHONE: 9:53am On Aug 27, 2013
Oooo it has been sad for me. I removed my 1.8m dish to a new place. Since sunday, I've been trying to hit green on Irib but still to no avail. I changed my C-Band LNB(STRONG MODEL) still no solution. I'm really sad!!! Is any one in GHANA still receiving Irib with 1.8m dish? The C-Band LNB has only one way to slot in the di-electric plate. So I don't know how to distinguish the V&H. I'm now confused on how I inserted the first one to hit green b4 I removed the dish to a new place. The dielectric plate has a black material glued to one side. Does that indicate any anything? Also apart from 3964v30000, any easy Tp to track Irib is also humbly requested.

@ Obnelly, I get you sir. Thanks for clarification.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by GHONE: 9:22am On Aug 22, 2013
@ Oga Obnelly, much as I always respect your opinion, I beg to differ in the strongest term this time . Cutting and replacing with a polythene bag is a very unsustainable and self-destructive approach that any Guru like you should ever propose !!!
Satellite TV Technology / Re: FTA Live Football Matches Announcement Thread by GHONE: 10:16pm On Aug 21, 2013
To get Irib in Nigeria&Malawi, I suppose the minimum dish should be 1.3meters. But to get 24/7 stable signal, in any sub-sahara African country, use 1.8m dish. NOTE: the frequency 3964v30000 is a C-Band and circular poralization . So you need a C-Band LNB and di-electric plate before you can hit green.

If you see a $ sign against any channel, it is not meant to beautify that channel. It means you have to pay b4 you watch. You can easily find on the internet keys to any channel that has $ sign but enscrypted in 'Biss'. The rest which have been enscrypted in '' Irdeto, conax, viaccess, videoguard, mediaguard, nagravision etc have no keys on the internet. You can nevertheless, enter into such channels by 1st, seeking permision from the black magician .

Strong C-Band 15K is good when used with the required dish size for a particular footprint. Focus more on the dish size rather than the LNB.

uchechuwku:

No one, I repeat, no one want's to be I Hacked (your english is pathetic, I find it hard to comprehend what you wrote sef).
We all just wanna be ourselves and improving more on what we love doing.
Bros, you need education. Stop bragging and get educated.
I'm very happy that u r all begining to know ' I Hacked'. This man doesn't have a Store, yet he brags on this forum that he sells Big Dishes, Conical scalar ring, Powerful C-Band LNBF. Let me state it hear without any fear of equivocation that, it is the Arabs who bring these Conical Scalar Ring, C-band LNBF & bracket to some satellite dealers in Ghana. Even in Kumasi it is only 'Alaba' where they sell 1.8m dish. Nobody sells 1m,1.2m or 2.4m Pan dish in Ghana. I Hacked posted here that he manufactures C-Band LNBF Bracket,Conical Scalar Ring which are all papable LIES! His REDLINE decoders are sold only on Nairaland. Ghanaians know only Strong & Multi tv Decoders. Whatever I Hacked post here, should be taken with a Pinch of Salt! I dare 'I Hacked' to refute my assertion!

I hacked, one thing I notice abt u is dat u brag too much. I went thru dis forum nd I found dat u once ask for tp nd satellite from d gurus but now after learning from dis forum,u don't want others to ask questions so they can learn also. If u don't want people to ask questions,so what is the essence of this forum?

Very good observation.

I 'HACKED' don't talk as if C-Band LNBF on a 90cm is your creation. You learnt it from other fora. So it is not a crime for me to seek info which I don't know from you or any other person. You have sought info from some Gurus in this forum b4! Better still, everyone can learn the video of C-Band on 90cm from Youtube. So please if you had privilege to learn it first, it doesn't mean you have monopoly over such things. You insulted some people unprovoked. Calling them goats & sheep in this forum. So we say stop that! I wonder why you always have issues with anyone who hold contrary view to your own. I can count about 5 gurus who have received your Bashing! Please let's be tolerant!

@ I Hacked: Stop advertising your uncilvility! What have you achieved in life? How dare you describe people as Goats, Sheep and others? You must learn to accomodate dissenting views ok? All your posts are full of grammatical errors, but we still read and deduce the message you are struggling to put across. Did I just see your redline advert? Do you want goats and sheep to read? @Kd10: I'm busily writing my thesis, hence, my inability to respond to your question on time. I think the myth sorrounding the use of 90cm to track C-Band channels has long been broken. So you just scroll to the bottom of your page and type anything in the SEARCH BOX and you will GET more answers than you may need. Everything about C-band & Ku-band LNB, dielectric plate(Teflon), Scalar ring, I mean everything about satellite dish installation has been discussed million times! Here in Ghana it is very easy to get C-Band LNB holder($4) which fit on the 90cm dish. So check your market. For the scalar ring it is a funnel-shaped plastic object which you put around the LNB side facing the dish. You can even do one by yourself. When you use C-Band LNB on Big dish, you dont need any scalar ring. You need the scalar ring when you use C-Band LNB on a 90cm dish. Just like a shortsightedness Man needs a spectacle to be able to walk well. Have a brilliant weekend!

@Yinka4dad:To tell you off head hahahahaahah!I think it's arabsat5c @ 20degree East. track with 3964V30000
Satellite TV Technology / Re: FTA Live Football Matches Announcement Thread by GHONE: 9:01pm On May 09, 2013
@Yinka4dad:It's possible to hit green on 90cm dish here in Ghana. so in Nigeria you can even hit green very easily. you just go and buy C-Band LNB.Remove the Ku-Band LNB holder from your dish and replace it with the C-band (modified or locally made)LNB holder. very easy to do.
Satellite TV Technology / Re: FTA Live Football Matches Announcement Thread by GHONE: 4:27pm On May 09, 2013
Helloo Fellas: honestly, I'm breaking the rules for posting @ the wrong place. So my last explanations to you all are: 1. You don't have to modify the 90cm dish fromn Ku to C-Band. If my memory serves me right, Ku or C-Band has nothing to do with big or small dish. But it has everything to do with LNB & footprint. If the frequency has 4-digits, then it is C-Band. Eg Irib 3964R30000. So in this case, you have to buy a C-Band LNB even if that television channel is transmitting in your backyard. Then the issue of dish comes in. If it is transmitting from your backyard, the footprint or let me say(signal) will be very strong so you use small dish & C-band LNB. A person far away where the footprint(signal) is very weak, must have to get a big Dish& C-Band LNB to hit green. On the other hand, if a frequency has 5digits, it is Ku-Band. Eg 10803H30000. With this one, a person has to get a Ku-LNB( the common ones we all know ) in order to hit green on that channel. Don't bother on the symbol rate's digit. With the issue of size of dish to use, is the same as explain above. depends on the footprint. If you are Closer: use small dish, far away: use big dish. C-Band LNB is bigger than the usual Ku-Band LNB we all know. If you don't have a C-Band LNB holder that can fit on the 90cm dish, just modify it for the C- Band LNB to fit in, that's all. Lastly, some C-Band channels are circular that is, they have polarization(R/L) eg is Irib3964R30000. those with this (R/L), insert the di-electric plate. Note, before you track, change the R to V or Change the L to H. Some C-Band channels are also linear, that is the have polarization(V/H) don't insert the di-electric plate. Irib(from Iran) footprint covers the whole Africa continent. But the signal is very strong in North Africa & some parts of East Africa. So for them, they can use the Ku-band & small dish or C-band and small dish. If you are in West Africa or south, the signal is not all that strong so depending on the geography of your area, the 90cm dish may disappoint you. Have a brilliant day, bye!!!

@ ALL THOSE CRYING FOR Irib CHANNELS: With 90cm dish & above, buy C-Band LNB. The dealer will add a plate to the LNB. This plate is called di-electric plate. 'Teflon' is nothing but the material which is used to manufacture this yellow coloured-rectangular plate called( di-electric plate). The function of this plate is that, whenever a C-Band TP has R/L, like Irib 3964R30000, you have to open the throat of your LNB & slot in the di-electric plate b4 you can track that channel. If it is a C-Band TP but with H/V, like 3155V27499, you have to remove the plate from the LNB b4 you can track that channel. Bear in mind that, Irib channels frequency originally is 3964R30000. But to change the R to V, on your decoder just go to the polarization and make it V. Now let's track Irib 1. Put the di-electric plate in the LNB 2. Input freq:3964 sym rate:30000 pol:V 3. Raise the dish little above multi-tv position and do the magic!!!

@brainy02: ooh yeah! 1m is very good to track Irib @ every conner in Africa. Use(3964v30000). @ stevolat: you can Track w3c 16 deg East with 10803H30000 and get a maximum signal 88% and above. Or Track Amos5 @17East with 12217v27500. Then after hitting green, change your polarization to hor&vert or H&V and blinscan. You will get all 16 E& Amos5(17E) channels. The two satelites are very close so it easy to use one Dish to nail the two birds!

BOADU, so can't u c 'I Hacked' is April-fooling you? Nobody's been able to use 90cm to nail Irib channels in Nigeria & to talk of Ghana. For black mesh dish you can get in Ghana, but 1.8m&2.4m metal or pan(dish) ones, I doubt if any shop sells them here in Accra or Kumasi.
