Please pple shd not mortgage their career all out of desperation. It is very obvious that the mail you guys are all responding to is nothing but a SCAM and 419.

Lets analyse the mail properly. No bank as far as i know will shorlist pple in this crude manner. Is it a one man business? How will a line manager tell the crook to shortlist CV of the first five pple. Why will the bank recruit thru a yahoo mail  i.e gwinmicheal@yahoo.com? All banks have website and will rather ask you to fill the career portion of their website or submit a hard copy CV. Pls dont be decieved.

This Afternoon, i was called by Springbank and the guy dat called asked 2 veryfy my location of interest as regards working with them. i.e where i wud love 2 work. In summary, what i deduced from all he said is basically that pple are called to fill up places where vacancies exist.

Am afraid the reason why most pple might not be called too soon is becos there are many pple dat indicated interest to work in Lagos and there are few vacancies there. I chose to work in Abj and environs dats why i was called. Although, Abj has been filled as he said but he offered to post me to a near by state.

Now the big issue is dat i already have a job.

PPle will be called based on where they chose, if you guys can remember, during the last interview we had, we were told to choose where we wud love to work. I guess that dats what they are following now based on availability. 

He concluded by promising to call me back in the first week of October.   

It is my believe and prayer dat all those qualified will be called. I absolutely sympathize with close to 300pple waiting for this important call. Wishing you guys the very best.

Please if there is any other person  dat got the call, he or she shd notify the forum so as to relieve tension in those that are still doubting.

Hi Akinbaba, i wrote my test with VIRGIN in Feb 2007, though it was in Abuja @Chelsea Hotel. We had several stages of interview before now. Well if you said you did urs in Jan and passed then be rest assured dat you could be called @ any time. The experience here is dat it takes a while most times before successful candidates are called. Except in some cases.

On Springbank, it is absolutely very certain dat the whole game of waiting will elapse in dis month of September. The source i had while i was also waiting just informed me yesterday that Spring will do the much awaited call dis month.

I want to stress that from my knowledge of Springbank, age has not been an issue so i advice that pple shd worry less on the age stuff. The renewed screening they are doing i understand is basically for fake credentials and those with f9 in maths and English.
Pple, like i said b4, jobs could be delayed but will surely come, the issue is the timing.

I waited for Spring Bank for a very long time all most a year after writing test, 3 stages of interview just like we all did and d wait still continued. As God will have it, VIRGIN NIG clicked.

People, just be rest assured dat the same God is still working, its jus a matter of time. If Spring bank is meant for you, it will surely come, if its God's will that He is preparing you for another place jus like he has done for some of us initially waiting for Spring bank, He will still surprise you with even a better place.

It is my prayer and believe dat u all will get placed somewhere.

I vowed before to stop commenting on Springbank until we are called for training but am kind of moved to comment now because of the fallacy and falsehood been posted by this MOKPAS of a guy.
Which dirty Chairman did he claim that told him that there wunt be any recruitment? Please we shd stop listening 2 pple like him, he is nothing but a spoiler. This is the same person dat is asking questions abt Zenith bank if he will be employed there because his sister also works there.
Mokpas shd stop misinforming d forumbecos he hopes 2 be employed in Zenith bank. We know dat Springbank is coming out frm its problem and we hope 2 help in our little way if we are eventually employed. So pple dont believe Mokpas at all. Crexyoung, For you to be assisted, you could pls state your location either Abuja or Lagos or any other city cos Zenith will be writing its test in many states soon. so where are u based?

It is true dat d MD was eventually fired but i am certain dat the changes will not affect our recruitment. Why? the new 7 man board is composed of seasoned professionals in the banking industry. The new Chairman Vincent Imokie is a past topshot of the CBN and also Alh Ndanusa the new MD is a professional in his own right so also other Board members. They are coming in to reposition the bank. Although, our training might take time a while from the look of things becos these guys were inaugurated today (Friday) so they will need some time 2 study d situation and solve other problems first cos d truth is dat d bank has problems, there were actually false claims of shareholders funds and even other internal problems so they need 2 do real work.

There is no cause for alarm on whether they will call us or not the problem i forsee is the timing. No bank will spend heavily on Medicals and just embark on new recruitmennt again without recourse to us. It just cant work cos d fact is dat they spent heavily on our medicals they cant afford 2 let us go like dat. The fear might be dat they will reduce d number but Go forbid.

People, lets still be optimistic and put our faith in God, afterall our desire is to come in and help reposition the bank.

Hi Adejoh, am sorry i wudnot be able to tell if those that were not called after d 2nd interview will still be called. But be rest assured you never can tell if they might need to jack up d number of those needed. During the 1st interview, some pple did not measure up but during our rd and final interview, they were called back to start another round of interview from 1st stage to d 3rd and as lucky as they were, they had d medicals with us even after loosing hope with d bank for a placement. So my man nothing is impossible.

Portune, the 110,000 stuff is in dat range but be rest assured dat it is  100,000 it seems 2 vary though. But my man d most important thing is d job, d pay is dam ok, bee assured.

Well from my info, i did not say dat we have 2 wait till june runs out, i said that we will be called in the last 2 weeks to the end of dis month (june) which is actually starting from next week so its certain that from 11th June or even today we might get invitation 4 employment letters and training. This is so becos our pay will tally with d payment of staff salary. I stand 2 be corrected.

Hi for those waiting for Spring Bank after d medicals, just b patient because i heard that they will call in the last 2 weeks of this month June. This is so because the training is only for two weeks and after d training, they will then pay us this month salary with other staff. They can't call for training now because they would not want to leave us like that after the two weeks trainnig without pay. So our June salary of 110,000 will come straight with that of the staff even though we were just engaged for two weeks.

The training is with accomodation (2 per room) in a standard hotel with three square meal daily and lots of fun. Hey, but be prepared because d 2 weeks will be gruelling and tasking on bank and other lectures

Moreso, we will get our employment letter before the training so jus chill and have a lot more patience having waited for up to 7 to 8 months.
