Romance / Re: Would You Marry A Workaholic? by jatwill(m): 9:03pm On Mar 28, 2010
it is ok. but it depend on you, the kind of marriage you want.
If all you want is a happy loving peaceful home and loving nice kids, meaning you both have to be contented with wht u hv, then don't marry a workaholic.
But if all you want is success, big dreams, firm or have a place in the society then i think you have no option than to marry a workaholic

Effects of Acid Rain - Human Health

Acid rain looks, feels, and tastes just like clean rain. The harm to people from acid rain is not direct. Walking in acid rain, or even swimming in an acid lake, is no more dangerous than walking or swimming in clean water. However, the pollutants that cause acid rain—sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx)—do damage human health. These gases interact in the atmosphere to form fine sulfate and nitrate particles that can be transported long distances by winds and inhaled deep into people's lungs. Fine particles can also penetrate indoors. Many scientific studies have identified a relationship between elevated levels of fine particles and increased illness and premature death from heart and lung disorders, such as asthma and bronchitis.

The Tongue's Antithetical Nature

James 3:9-12 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.

While it should not be, such is the case due to our dual nature. Paul writes, "Live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want." Gal 5:16,17

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice." Eph 4:29-31

"Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. " Eph 5:4

Religion / Re: Jesus Not Entirely Good by jatwill(m): 1:30pm On Feb 12, 2010
when Christ said “why call me good, I am not good but God is all good” he was simply saying give God all the praise. Just like saying “no, thanks to God” when someone says "thank you" in appreciation of what you did.

it is not just reading the bible but understandin it.
Religion / Re: Abolish Religion ? by jatwill(m): 6:51pm On Feb 10, 2010

Self-Control is Reflected in Speech

James 3:2-4 For in many things we all stumble. If anyone doesn't stumble in word, the same is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body also. Indeed, we put bits into the horses' mouths so that they may obey us, and we guide their whole body. Behold, the ships also, though they are so big and are driven by fierce winds, are yet guided by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot desires.

In as much as what one says is an expression of one's heart as Jesus said, "For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." Mt 12:34b, self-control over one's speech is a reflection of one's self-control over one's desires.

Conversely as what one says reflects one's beliefs, people will be held accountable for what they say:

"I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." Mt 12:36,37

"If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Rom 10:9

Thus one's destiny is partly determined by what one says, and what you say often determines the course of your life.

"From the fruit of his mouth a man's stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied." Pr 18:20

May her gentles soul rest in peace.
Like it or not she was a onetime first Lady of Nigeria.
Everyone is bad in his own way, we only saw her’s as the first lady.
Only God knows what anybody will do as the president of Nigeria.
Let’s not forget no one will live here forever!
