Lexusgs430:

What surname do you have in your present application?
Only 1 passport number is required, not unless you have something to prove on your old passport.

Yes, my student visa is in my old passport with my surname, while my new passport has nothing except for my husband's name which I just change to.

Hello house, I have 2passports, my former one with my surname and the new one with my husband's name, should I put the new passport number as my passport number or both numbers?

Thanks.

I will not advice you to submit it like that especially since the year is not showing. Is it only via Yahoo! Chat that you guys communicate. Maybe you should consider going to MTN/Glo/Etisalat to request for call log, that is if you guys communicate via phone calls too

Ok thanks, we communicated everyday on yahoo. And also on phone, but I'm now in UK studying for madters . maybe I will try to call Mtn customer care from here to see what they can do. as for the yahoo, we will try to print it again with the years showing.

Maybe you should list documents you have so that people will see if anything is missing on the list.

Ok, thanks.

You don't need to include TB test result and if you have masters here then that takes cares of English language requirement.

I haven't checked this but i don't think the £18600 financial requirement applies to spouse living here already on student visa.

Thanks justwise... I'm still on my masters program which will end June 2015. So I don't have the certificate yet, that's y I'm asking if I can still use my ielts of 6.0

Yes, u can make an application in the UK. I think it's only the tourist visa where you can't make an application for a different visa while in the UK. I helped a couple of friends of mine. They were married, he was a student, had only 30 days left of his visa. They met all the requirements, provided all the right documents, did the face to face application and received a call after 2 hours saying that they got the visa. As long as you provide all the right evidence you'll be ok

@girlflo, thanks.

Hello justwise and house, I'm here again, pls I need to get this right. I got married to a British man in Nigeria Feb this year in court including traditional marriage, but I came to UK June for my masters, I currently leave with my husband in same house, I study and work my normal 20hrs and my husband also earn more than 18,600 and he has up to 6months payslip to show that. My study visa will run till October next year, what I want to know is, is it possible for us to apply for spouse visa here in UK? We plan to apply December. Or will I have to wait for my student visa to expire before coming back to Nigeria to apply? Thanks to u all.
