You guys want to make money and ruin the car owner why are you so selfish and wicked.
Greed, self centredness is a problem with drivers, let’s be fair to owners as well

Mr Oga. I hope it will not shock you if i say i am the rightful owner of the car i drive.

In as much as I do know the mindset of an average driver towards owner (wanting to feed more than the owner) It doesn't erase the fact that things are hard this time with this economy reality.

We need to be fair with our fellow human. I set out yesterday around 8am and I got home past 11pm fully exhausted. What I came home with is not more than 5k after all expenses. Ride fare is so ridiculous couple with wait time before getting a rider.

Do you also know risk people take trying to move Lagos. God really saved me yesterday. My people, becareful around 2nd rainbow before mile2. Street urchain there are on a rampage. About three cars behind me was rubbed and they carted away with valuables. They hit my car and almost torn my side mirror while escaping. They were about 5 of them. Immediately they noticed we were stock in traffic and some people are beginning to turn of their ignition, they just came from nowhere, shattered there side glasses and forcibly took things from them.

Mind you, posting earning on a public domain is not only good for owner like you to see that drivers are making a killing sum and decided to remit peanut to the owner but also bad for so many other reasons. Security reason alone, knowing fully well that people from all walks of life view this forum for various reason including those law efforcement agencies who would always want to take advantage of your hard earn money. We need to be guided.

OK guys. This goes to all sharing dashboard here. Except when really needed to prove anything, it is childish and also to the detriment of some drivers.
I had a chat with a pilot yesterday who told me that his car owner saw the earnings of the guy who said he made a lot recently. On seeing this, the owner asked the driver to revert to 25k per week. We all know remitting such amount is not that feasible for now. Trips are not predictable unlike before. The driver had to drop the car.

Now he s looking for a car again.

So many people come here to read this thread without even dropping comments. Let's mind what we post here. Thanks.

Alot of time they don't know the implications of posting earning on a public domain like this. Just imagine how they've abruptly taken away livelihood of another man unprepared all because of their stupid post.

Thanks to everyone that showed concern on my case since Wednesday (Gentlelife vision2045 and to all that prayed) God will bless us all.

The car is out through a highly respected lagos chief I was connected to by someone, the initial fee was 100k he called the director and talked to him to slash the fee down to 30k.
I drove straight to his place at ebutemeta to thank him.
He warned me never to drive against traffic again and prayed for me.
I just left there now and on my way home, local man is tired and need rest.

Once again thank you all for your support.

Meanwhile I got a connect of a lastma officer at oshodi just incase anyone need assistance.
His area covers Anthony, oshodi and gbagada.
Local man will hit the road back on Monday thanks and one love

This feedback gladden my heart. To God be the glory

Please house, I noticed the brake light of my 05 corolla showing on the dashboard without hanging the handbrake. After all checks, I discovered the brake oil short below the average level which I top, yet the light still showing. What could possibly be the cause of the braklight showing on my dashboard.

Bros abeg, am planning to get a loan of 2m...to buy a car I will drive on weekends for uber..cos I work 8 to 5 on weekdays...based on ur experience of weekend driving...wud u advice me to go ahead with d loan

Deedee44 have said it all. It all boils down on the repayment structure.
But one candid advice I have for you is to work out a repayment plan that can accommodate your monthly salary conveniently so as not to subject yourself into an undue pressure.

You find it difficult to believe Aby, am sorry sir, thats just the truth. I always assume every other driver is ............. So I maintain my cool. I don't speed unnecessarily and I don't tend to block you if you want to come into my Lane.

My prayer is when I finally join the Uber group, the same spirit that have always protect me should continue. Cos driving almost all day no be shereshere for Lasgidi.

Bros, it's a different thing when you are driving for other reasons but another thing entirely when driving on ehailing. Did you just say u want to maintain same pace when driving on the later, like driving all day? Come let me tell you, if you survive danfo,Maruwa, korope even okada bashing, I bet you can't survive abuses+insults from your riders.

Are you using it actively like for uber n bolt or private use.

What type of oil are u using? Mineral technology or Synthetic.

If its Mineral, and you use it for uber ( commercial use). Try n change the oil.

Personally, I use mineral technology, hence I drain oil Every month.

Thank boss.
Yes am using it for uber but on weekends (Saturday n Sundays) that's when I use it actively.

Mobil oil (not so sure of the type) is what I use as that was my first service of the car since I bought it. I'm open to to any suggested oil that can withstand the hustle. Someone recommended I use Rozarium 5w30 on my next service of the car.

If i may ask, what is the difference between mineral technology and synthetic oil and what mileage i my suppose cover before servicing?

I greet all the elders statesman in the house. Your immeasurable contributions and assistance to this forum over the years has proven you all worthy of elders. More grease to your elbows.

Please, I did my toyota Corolla 05 car servicing sometimes in late November, about 2months now. It occur to me yesterday that I check my engine oil then I noticed the oil is short (the oil gauge is just at the below dotted point of the stick) without any sign whatsoever. The engine works fine, not smoky and no signs of short engine oil on my dashboard. What could possibly be the cause.

Theres nothing in particular I engaged the car in aside that ac, stereo is working concurrently and they keep working whenever the stopped occur.

What could possibly be wrong before Kareem use his sledge hammer on me plsss.

A LOT more detail is needed. Year make and model? Recent work? What were you doing each time it stopped? Hot weather in Nigeria cannot stop a car Biko. Don't let kazeem and his friends tell you nonsense.

Elders in the house, biko, my car stops on three different occasions yesterday while on the motion. Could it be as a result of the hot weather or something else cos my AC and every other thing keep working when the stops occur.

Have you checked your exhaust to see whether it's loose?

I did not though. I took to my mechanic in ladipo today where he said it's the brake pad and has been fixed.

Elders in the house,

Pls what's the implication of having a current rating as 4.25 and activity score as 95% on taxify

Also, I've been noticing this strange sound each time I accelerate on a long distance once I hold the brake it makes pooooo and one horrible gbugbugbu sound from the boot as if a luggage is not properly positioned. What could possibly be wrong?
