Webmasters / Re: Can I Go For Adsense Account Now? by kentochdis(m): 12:48am On Mar 07, 2013
zangiff: Bros the truth is dat continue postin while your blog ages, it means in the next one month you will av like 70 post which is good...now 3month is okay, get some original contents and take ur time to read the adsense policy which prohibit the use of hacks, sex, nude pics, violence etc and you will sure be granted if you follow all dis tins

I think zangiff gave the correct answer here. The important thing is that you have original content on your website and you understand what their policies are and keep to them. The three months advice is also ok, I got mine in less than though, but everything I was doing was original. You can check out www(dot)hostketcom(dot)com to see proof. Cheers mate & good luck

benz33: The enlightement i think i can give here is all about you ready to work to offer a service to people in your neighbourhood and get paid for doing so. I presently make close to N90,000 Monthly for doing this Business. Please dont be Skeptical about this Business and Infomation. You are not selling any Information, You are not referring anybody to Join any M.L.M. yOU ARE NOT SELLING ANY PRODUCT send me a mail and i will get back to you.

Thank You.

Oga benz33, what is wrong in stating what you are talking about here for public scrutiny. I've noticed that each time people have some fisher or shady proposals, they prefer telling people on NL to contact them through their phone or email instead of laying the facts here. If there is nothing to it, state it here, those interested will contact you to learn more or go into business with you. But if through experience, NL members observe that what you are offering is not genuine, they'll raise the alarm and everyone will stay off.

so save the encouragement stuff and post what you're offering.

Business / Re: Can 200k Start A Biz? by kentochdis(m): 8:24pm On Feb 28, 2013
My advise to you is to keep the money in a fixed deposit and forget you have the money. After that, think of what you can do to generate make money without that money. The problem people have is that they think that money is the most important thing in business, but it is not. If you have great working ideas, people will buy into it, in effect, it is people that will be asking to collect money so that they can partner with you. 10 million can vanish if you fall in the wrong hands not to talk of N200,000. Cheers

LeBlack: Okay. Got this in my mail today. If you use them, cash out now!

Bros, how do you cash out when they are the ones the send you your earnings when you reach their threshold. I think what you should be saying is that people should look to other ad networks to fill the space they'll be creating on your website or that they should re-structure their websites to remove the spaces. Cheers
Webmasters / Re: How Can Mobile Phone Friendly Website Be Created? by kentochdis(m): 11:26am On Feb 02, 2013
Raylight_1: may be i can help in my small way. simply using % for width of your divs automatically makes it mobile friendly. and font-sizes measured in em and not px.

Great answer Raylight_1, it may sound simple but it works. Cheers

Business / Re: There Is No Money To Be Made Online (final Fullstop) by kentochdis(m): 11:02pm On Sep 29, 2012
franel79: I am online and I am making it in my own little way. I don't think anyone can tell me what I should not know and secondly, most of those guys who claim to have made money on this thread are not even satisfied with the income they generate from the internet. Some one told me that my question was not as it should have been but tells me that you all are yet to understand where I am driving at. Making money online is not about earning peanuts. It should be about surviving completely online. I wanted to show you all my five steps to earning serious cash online, but since you have got your ends covered, you might as well enjoy your money. Peace out.

Well, I think this all happened because you started with a wrong approach. You said franel79: There is no money to be made online and I have my reasons for saying so. If you think differently, you are very free to speak out. Even if people are making peanut or groundnut as the case maybe, it is something not nothing. So it automatically kills your theory of NO MONEY TO BE MADE ONLINE. My brother, you count from kobo to naira, the successful people you hear about today didn't just become successful overnight you should read up how seun of nairaland started. So if your thoughts are that you go online today and tomorrow you are a millionaire, sorry, it's not supposed to work that way. But if your thought are that you go online, learn the ropes, make mistakes, learn from others, be patient and consistent, then comes success, that frame of mind will make you successful in the long run and you remain at that level because you have a brand people have come to know you by.

You said "I wanted to show you all my five steps to earning serious cash online, but since you have got your ends covered, you might as well enjoy your money. Peace out." What makes you think you have monopoly of information? Don't you think someone already has 21 ways to make serious money online? If your title post was "Five steps to earning serious cash online" you would have received a lot of praise and follower ship if what you're saying makes sense.

Conclusion, I believe a lot of people that sent a post here are making something respective of whether it is coin or note. And they are striving to make it to learning from those that have succeeded and figuring out their own ways. What people need is encouragement so that we have more people earning honest and legal income online so hat our image (Nigeria) will improve. Cheers

Webmasters / Re: Hostgator Account Verification Issue! by kentochdis(m): 11:19pm On Sep 24, 2012
A Voters Card is an Identification card issued by the government and this fact is recognized world wild. The reason why Banks don't accept it for now is because what we currently have or have been give is a temporary voters card, I think the current news is that the permanent ones will be issued soon. Fortunately, Hostgator doesn't know these temporary thingy, so have been verifying most accounts that use voters card as their Id.

Webmasters / Re: Affiliates & Maketers Are Wanted by kentochdis(m): 12:00am On Sep 12, 2012
I think you should have included the website you want our link to direct people to so that we are able to decide if the type of business we will be interested in associating with. Don't get me wrong, I know what nairaland, facebook, google and others are about, I'll be comfortable placing a link on my website to connect to them but I wouldn't want to connect with an Bleep, HYIP or gambling site. so my brother be more specific. cheers

Business / Re: Complaint About Akin Alabi by kentochdis(m): 8:44pm On Sep 02, 2012
Oga, Chief, Guru, Almighty Akin Alabi, I don't really know why you bothered responding when my last statement was "Please don't bother to respond because as usual "it's my headache", thanks I heard that.".

You keep responding and still continue using the type of language that a top executive or business owner is not supposed to be using on a public forum (NA WAH O!).

Wait self, people make calls, they have drop calls, and come to nairaland and complain about GSM providers been thieves and call them loads of bad name, but I don't see their executives calling people names or using foul languages in response. That's what shows you're above them, you don't need to retaliate to prove that you pass them. Sorry , I guess you used Baba's style (push me I push you). Continue your style, I guess it's working really well for you. Cheers

Business / Re: Complaint About Akin Alabi by kentochdis(m): 9:23pm On Sep 01, 2012
@Akin Alabi, Your Response confirms what Dr. Sunny said about you i.e. poor customer services you just played it out live.

Why should I put up a notice? Its my forum and I decided to stop it. My call. Its nobody's business when I put it up or down. Its a free forum so kini big deal?. Well, I wonder what'll happen if the administrator of nairaland wakes up one day and decides to close it without any prior information, after all, it's also free. Nobody is arguing who your forum belongs to, but remember, you must have encouraged people to join it one way or the other. You owe it to them, to inform them when you are going off, with good time I must add, that is the civil thing to do. I didn't pay to join nairaland, facebook, yahoo, twitter, myspace and others, but i do hope the day they decide to go off for any reason, they'll at least place a notice on their site. - I guess your response'll be "your headache".

You helped them register the domain name and market it but now you distance yourself from them, did you not know that when you help market something, people might take up that offer based on your stamp of approval? Why don't you learn from your mentor (Dr. Sunny)? Do you know how many times he has come back to publish disclaimers so that people will not be deceived? or Do you know how many times he has come back to explain or clarify an issue live on his papers? I once attended a seminar held at Dr Sunnys' office, the attendants were not at all happy with the delivery, we complained that what was advertised and what we paid for was not what we got. He ordered that we be refunded 50% of our registration fees. Mind you, he wasn't the one that delivered the seminar, but rather his facility was use and with the arrangement then it made him a stakeholder. That was why he ordered that we be refunded 50% of our money. I'm not in anyway asking you to refund anybody a dime but rather, that you show little customer service. Don't bother responding, it's my headache.

You are a business owner, clearly posting statements like "Thats their headache", "Your headache", "Do you have comprehension issues?" and loads of other words were not what one would expect from you. Please search for VoguePay on Nairaland and you'll see that there was a post were people were complaining and posting stuff about the service. The guy came here, first accepted their fault and then explained in details what the problem was and how they're going about solving it. The point here, is not whether you were at fault or not but rather you manner of response which clearly shows itself in every response you make. Which clearly show lack of customer service and responsibility.

Please don't bother to respond because as usual "it's my headache", thanks I heard that.
